An excellent and safe everyday scent.I love most of the TDO fragrances and this one I wear during the spring and summer months. The description says it's sweet which I disagree.For me,I would describe this as something that is clean,powdery,the "head airy" that I get from most perfumes that kinda triggers my CH asthma,soapy and sour at the same time on my skin. I like this so much because it's inoffensive and you can sorta overspray and not offend people.I feel like I'm floating on air whenever I wear powdery perfumes,this included. Longevity is not bad,it lasts about 8 hours tops so it's best to carry this around so you can reapply. Sillage-wise is a few feet during the first hour then sits close to the skin. Nice spring/summer scent.Very safe.

Once I smelled this, I had to buy the whole set with a deodorant and soap. Woah, what a nice smell. I guess I am a orchid girl. The orchid note mixed with white florals is pure magic. Smells so floral and clean. Such a lovable and wearable scent.

My favorite Tesori! Powdery goodness, sweet but fresh. Wish it lasted a bit longer, but I reapply it generously since it's really affordable.

I love this fragrance, it's ideal for me, lasts all day , perfect for everyday use.

the opening is already powdery, i assume it's the orchid and tiare notes that come forward. after a few seconds, there's a bit of mandarin orange mixed in that floral accord, but then it disappears immediately. there's only flowers for me, not fresh flowers but chalky flowers, if it makes sense. they're not in a vase, it almost makes me think of a fake orchid that has been infused with some fragrance since it has none. a fake flower that lacks a scent, but it has been given a scent to give it a semblance of flowery scent, so that's why it smells powdery and not totally like a flower. it's not sweet, it's not tropical. and i'm glad it's neither of those things. i would agree with the reviews that say this feels like being surrounded by a pink cloud. i can see why it's so many people's favorite and why they keep repurchasing it. i definitely will, too! 10/10 for this powdery goodness. white flower, powdery scents lovers, get this and enjoy it. it's long lasting and it projects well. truly a lovely orchid scent.

I had a lot of Tesori scents at the beginning of my perfume journey, as they offer good quality over a cheap price, and as a student, that was all I could afford. Time has passed, I finished my studies and developed a growing interest in perfumes, having actually about 30 bottles after downsizing :)) but I still own 3 Tesori fragrances, among them this one. It is a safe, nice, wearable scent, sits close to skin but lasts pretty long. It is soft, soapy, I smell coconut in the opening and orchids and vanilla a bit later. It is one of my cosy scents I wear when I am spending a day in, reading books and enjoying being un-busy.Not because I wouldn't wear it outside, I just somehow associate it with this cosy, relaxing being at home feeling. A good value for this price. I always recommend Tesori to people on a budget but still looking to buy good quality. It is similar in character to J.Lo Miami Glow, but calling it a dupe is unfair.

Powerful but soft and exotic. The initial spray immediately smells of those citruses, the orange notes. The florals give me soapy vibes. The vanilla and praline are a given to the delicious aspect of this perfume. It's powdery and sweet whilst still remaining spicy and woody (and wet from that citrus juice). The myrrh is very rich. It's soft spicy, almost giving my nose a minty feel as I smell it... to me it manages to be warm and cold at the same time even if that might make no sense to anyone else. The drydown is so sexy to me! There's something in this that reminds me of freshly washed hair/skin, maybe it's that soapy aspect or because this specific brand does have shower gels that smell like this line of perfumes. DEFINITELY worth the price.

Taken by a compulsive shopping spree, I emptied the Treasures of the East sector. Having snubbed and / or underestimated it for years and years, despite having appreciated its olfactory performance on several occasions. After reading all the reviews here on Fragrantica, I decided to test and live these cheap fragrances, very synthetic but still pleasant, if it goes I will spray them in the rooms ... Orchid of China by Tesori d'Oriente with juste pulvérisé appears alcoholic, synthetic, violent , at the dry the slight citrus notes emerge that immediately give way to the floral notes, more intense and defined, at the dry down an unexpected, reassuring and powdery base emerges. Fragrance that evolves.

I got this due to nostalgic reasons. I just keep smelling it and it reminds me of childhood, when Italian body care products were all the rage. I vividly remember my mom using this and me thinking how nice she smells, and I'd sometimes spray it on myself too. Now we've moved on to more sophisticated perfumes but this holds a special place in my heart. Uncomplicated, soft, a lil soapy, creamy vanilla orchid. It's a warm and cozy scent I suppose you could wear it in the summer too but eh? It's like that overly sweet cocktail in scorching weather, sometimes a little too sweet.

I had to edit my first terrible review about this fragrance. After given it a bit of time I am pleasantly surprised of the softness and warmth that showed up after the sharp beginning . Not too sweet, a bit spicy but utterly fresh scent. Great for fall but I am almost sure it will suit all seasons. The bottle is very comfortable and light to have in the handbag all the time. I am ready to try some more of this brand, regardless of the price it doesn't smell cheap.

One of the best Tesori d’Oriente in my opinion. I used to wear it in my youth on my first nights out so it’s more the smell of memories for me, of the first “wild” nights. It’s intense, strong, even though it doesn’t last long. It smells like exotic flowers or at least as I imagine exotic flowers smell. It’s very dry however, not sweet at all on me. It reminds me of Angel. I think men find it attractive even though it’s never been told me explicitly.

Starts out very strong, orangey, kinda hard to wear the first hour honestly. I can't say that it's as complex as the notes say, pretty much just smells like musky orchid to me. Only hours later can I smell the sandalwood, which tones things down a bit. Can't detect any vanilla, which I think would make this more of a wearable scent for me. Great sillage. Lasts up to 10h in warm weather. Recommend for sexy floral lovers.

A soapy-body cream scent. I consider it as a unisex scent representing the smell after getting out of the shower and having bathed with a generic shower gel. It is really that wet hair - deeply cleaned skin - vapors getting out of the shower vibe. Could be slight feminine leaning but it SCREAMS cleanliness. With a shirt on one smells like freshly ironed clothes. 0/100 challenging, 10000/100 clean. I like it

Amazing tropical floral, sun lotion-y but more refined. I am usually disgusted by sweet scents in summer, however, this beauty has just the right amount of sweetness that makes the fresh vibes more rounded and feminine. It does not feel niche, nor does it smell cheap - it is just effortlessly sexy, like a floating sundress over a small bikini. Longevity: 7/10 Sillage: 4/10

Smelling similar to J Lo's Miami Glow and Escada's Taj Sunset ... fruity, flirty, summery.. smells like coconut in a tropical fruits juice. Love it! Longevity on my skin isn't as good as with White musk .. but it's ok. Draws compliments from men and lingers nicely on your hair, clothes.. my skin, however, absorbs it pretty fastly. Recommendation!

Fresh like you've just had your shower,feminine and in addition low price.All these in a 100ml bottle perfume spray that will definitely follow you in gym or for your morning shoping, even on your summer holidays and will keep you fresh and clean ,as it is also a long lasting fragrance.Love it!

On me it's a floral fruity that turns soft and soapy after a little while. It opens with a mix of (probably!) grapefruit, coconut and flowers, then it gets sweeter and cleaner, like the smell that a good soapbar would leave on your skin.

Reminds me of the girls' locker room in junior high, tropical deodorant or shower gel, not sweet and cloying like a body spray but a typical shower fresh creamy fragrance. Perfectly fine, but nothing for me to write home about.

Ho comprato questo profumo due anni fa e da allora non riesco a separarmene. Spesso lo uso anche la sera in quanto è molto persistente ma non dà alla testa, molte persone mi fanno i complimenti perchè è molto femminile e dolce.

Yes, it's similar to Miami Glow, but there are differences too...OdC is much softer, more wearable, more feminine, more floral.

Oh yes, I forgot this one in my comparison's list :) Sicily is right: It smells like Miami glow! Perfect in spring-summer!

Very lovely frag, it's a little soapy but in good way.

On its own, to me it smells like grapefruit and musk, not much else. Not good enough - or interesting enough - to wear it anywhere else but home on a lazy-day tshirt. But layered with wood sage and sea salt... I'd buy it again just for this layer combo.

Smells like an air freshener or laundry detergent. Nice scent but weird perfume.

Sadly I had to give it away. I realised that I don't like the imagined "Orchid" note in perfumes (orchids don't have a scent, so when a perfume has an orchid note it's a made up note). I've found that the made up orchid note in perfumes smells a little bit like artificial banana peel or burned doll head. It's not a pleasant banana peel scent, but a highly artificial made up one. It just doesn't feel right and quite uncanny. Funnily enough when I wore this perfume my clients were complimenting me how nice I smelled. As it does give that artificial vanilla floral vibe. And on first sniff it's okay and rather pleasant. Only when one is in this scent bubble for a while and gives this scent a bit more time therefor, the artificial vibe of this perfume becomes more and more present. After a while I ended up getting annoyed with it. As if I was smelling like burned plastic or rotting banana. So sadly it's a no for me. Superficially it's a pleasant perfume for me, but sadly I'm not good with the artificial orchid note. The same banana peel, burnt doll head, orchid note is also in Gucci Flora Orchid. It's also a perfume, which I love as occasional whiff here and there, but if I wear it all day I start disliking it more and more. If you love an orchid note you'll love this perfume though.

I've just blind bought it and here is my verdict: Laundry detergent with passionfruit and grapefruit note. Very light, more like a body scent. On the body it becomes musky and loses the fruitiness quite quickly. It becomes a little play-do-esque on the body. On clothes the passionfruit-grapefruit note stays strong and one has a pleasant scent of fruity laundry detergent/frabric softener on the clothes for around 3-4hrs. Overall I love these clean cotton, soapy clean laundry scents, so I'm happy with the purchase. I wished that it would perform better on the body, but I guess body heat destroys the scent particles too quickly. However if you spray it on fabric then it's actually quite nice and gives you an aura of clean clothes. Projection is around 10-20cm from your body. You actually have to come quite close to smell it there. Again, I don't hate it and I'm not disappointed as I love clean laundry scents and this is a fruitier clean laundry scent. I recommend it on clothing as your body heat will ruin the top notes quite quickly and you're left with a play-do musk on your skin. Other than that quite nice as quick refresher on the clothes. Super un-intrusive, clean, fresh and work friendly.

I've tried this today and I had very big expectarions to like it, since I had the shower gel from the same line, but it turned out to be a horror. At first the smell was very strong and overwhelming, like a heavy vintage floral (thank God I spray it on my whrist!). By the way there are some white flowers in the pyramid for sure, and no orchid to my nose ( I like the orchid note in CK Euphoria). After it settled is reminded me of a cheap shampoo scent. When I came home i washed my hand, but I could still detect this perfume, so the staying power is more than excellent.

I bougt in April this year in Italy. The choice was very limited and I was limited too by hand luggage restriction and bought two bottles only. I sniffed it from the bottle and liked it. I wore it yesterday and wasn't that keen. It's very soapy but in a detergent way. It's not human cleanless. And powdery. It's not often happens to me that I cannot stand my own perfumes. I could still smell it from my top I wore yesterday so longevity is not bad. Not happy with this buy, glad is was on offer and cost me about 2.50 euro.

This is the worst smell I have ever smelled in my life.

A blind impulse buy. I do consider this more like a body spray than actually as a perfume. As stated by another review here included, it sounded a bit soapy, not that sweet and somehow on my skin reminded me in addition a bit like a man’s cologne. “Orchidea Della China” longevity is not that great. Even though I did have it in my wardrobe for over a year, I did use it only and just a couple of times, finally giving it away as I had definitively no appreciation for it. Once and for all, not my cup of tea plus it gives me headaches. A definitive pass.

I don't know the perfume which is said to be a dupe but the flowery, sweet and enveloping accords make me happy with this fragrance. It has not kidnapped my heart like some "brothers" of this Maison but the pleasure of wearing this fragrance exists. I perceive the mix and not a particular note but it is pleasant, not tired and it is perfect when you don't have the inspiration of wear other. In its simplicity it is a good perfume.

I like to spray it after I shower to stay at home. IMO, this is a great fall scent. My sweater smells amazing and it lasts all day. Even my husband complimented the way I smelled, and he is not a fan of perfumes. It’s a soft scent after it dries down but very pleasant.

Well, I cannot detect any flower. All I can smell is coconut water. Faint, enjoyable, quite lasting. It strongly reminds me of "City Jungle" by Oriflame. Among the TdO I've tried, Japanese Rituals (smelling like rose Greek delight) and this are by far the best for me.

I discovered that I don’t like what is often said to be orchid in fragrances. This one is like a beautiful shower gel. I think some will really love it, but I can’t. Édit: spray it in the air and walk threw, beautiful after shower clean floral effect.

Bought this casually at a big pharmacy. I am glaaaaaaad I did. It has this neat clean fresh from the shower scent. Lasts long. Stays on u all day. Lots of complements and hugs when I wear it. Best tesori buy so far.

Soapy and powdery, like a gentle pink fabric softener. I spray my bedding sets with it before I store them away after washing. Try this - it makes you feel you sleep in a fluffy pink cloud. Don't overspray.

Too bad there's no discription of the notes that are in it, I'm curious... obviously it contains Orchid, but it's definitely loaded with lots and loads of fruits as well! A bit too much if you ask me...

It's a bit strong at first spray, but then it becomes light and transparent, but not fading smell.I like tha soapiness it brings, although i hate soapy scents. It can be describes as spring and pretty.

i generally don’t like using this line as perfumes but i think this one specifically smells really sexy. i like the mix of white florals and orange in perfumes.. it reminds me of a hot summer night

Not as floral or interesting as expected. Sweeter. Synthetic powder. Mostly fruity, and a kind of undefined musky something. I could use it to refresh a room but certainly not on myself.

My friend has this one. It is very nice, very modern floral, feminine and long lasting. Great aura too. And it smells like Jennifer Lopez - Miami glow!
