Royal Oud Dello Yemen

this is the scent i wore 2 summers ago. i bought it in italy, i fell in love and used it vigorously. it still reminds me of that specific vacation, the sun, the fights me and my boyfriend had, the sickingly small hotel room, that smelled like cigarettes. a younger version of me, of us. when i came back i still wore this perfume, just less. until i didn't use it at all anymore, vanished in back of my shelfs. somehow i broke the head of the spray, so even when i wanted to use it, it wasn't possible. until yesterday, as I randomly fiddled with the spray cap. today i wore it again for the first time. i payed close attention, I watched how the scent dissipates, sniffed my arm trying to smell every note. i think this is a really unique composition. the incense, the honey, it's sweet but sharp and chick. it's funny to me that some people love this scent, like me, and some find it so unbearable. aswell as most seem to take this as a winter, night scent; for me it is such a clear summer smell; it would feel illegal for me to wear it at any other time, but it seems that this is just my hyper subjective experience.

my abs favourite from tesori d'oriente. insanely good value, insanely long lasting, and insanely easy to grab just off the supermarket shelf (in italy, at least). It's completely different from my usual fragrances but it's simply SO GOOD. It smells like wandering into your grandmother's closet when you were a kid, like who is wearing it is an adult with their life together who knows what they're doing. I believe it could work on anyone. one sour note is the bottle quality, i guess they had to cut corners SOMEWHERE. but for this pricepoint i really don't mind.

It might come as a surprise to some, but this is my favorite of all the Tesori d'Oriente frags that I tried, and the most long lasting of them all. It is quite interesting and not similar to any other frag that I smelled so far. On my skin, the dry down has a very strong cola/Dr. Pepper vibe. I love it so I bought 2 backup bottles.

Truly a beautiful perfume, it knows of ancient,sacred, meditative.... surprising this discovery, it is creamy and enveloping, quite powerful and long lasting. Certainly among the best Eastern treasures. Love it. Sillage: 8./10 Longevity: 9./10 Scent: 8.5/10 Overall: 8.5/10

Smells surprisingly more churchy incense and slightly chypre, like a watered down Eldo Rien's version on my skin.
