Sang Noir

Warm, edgy, rich, very masculine, with a dark shade . It opens up with a blast of liqueur and nutmeg. In its heart I can defentely pick aoud ( pungent, animalic), a creamy sandalwood, warm wood. The basenotes are very sexy and very boozy, yet very warm with a hint of bitterness(whisky). Conceptually we are looking at an already very walked , but always pleasing, path. I do like it alot .Nothing bad to say about performance and projection either......My only concern is its value for money but on the overall is a winner. P.S. I agree with the notes listed in the previous comment. There' s ablsolutely no spice and no patchouly .

This stuff is incredible, I would say the opening is quite deceiving as it opens very spicy herbal and smoky, leaning ever so slightly masculine ( for the women that are more used to sweet heady florals or sugary vanillas) because of the deep spicy, boozy scent profile. Today I picked it up and patiently sat through all stages, honestly this is exquisite. Sensual deep and irresistible, spices & aged velvet liquor bloom off the skin with a silken, sensual sandalwood thread present from opening to drydown. This perfume melds on my skin to create a sumptuous sillage of sensuality. Men or women would smell intoxicating in this.

Sang Noir is such a unique beauty. It nods its head to the masculine woody chypres and feminine oriental florals of the 70s and early 80s, while cheekily telling modern interpretations to hold my beer. Moody, spicy and balsamic, Sang Noir is an androgynous classic with impressive performance. I adore this fragrance.

This is sophisticated and luxurious with extreme long lasting. Definitely a keeper that turns heads.

Sang Noir is an undeniably sexy fragrance that combines the darkness of the oud accord with incense, and the warm tonality of rich spices. The green pods have a delicate clean, sweet but spicy-floral flavour with a lemony scent. It pairs well with the deeper notes in Sang Noir such as saffron and oud imbuing them with character. No spice or Patchouli........both are there by the bucket load!!! Written on the perfume box, it reads... ACCORDS HEAD NOTES SPICY- Clove Buds, Nutmeg, Black Pepper, Saffron, Cumin.......how many spices do u need? HEART NOTES WOODY- Cedarwood, Sandalwood, PATCHOULI, Labdanum, Agarwood, VETIVER BASE NOTES SOFT AMBERY- Liquor, Musky Ambergris, Beeswax, Vanilla, Rum, Fenugreek (oooh another spice!!), Strong Musks. ADVICE- READ THE BOX IT COMES IN!! This is a wonderfully warm, SPICY fragrance, full of passion and fire. The Patchouli adds a fruity and green note to it, like your walking in a cedar forest, where Violet and Patchouli flowers are being crushed under foot, releasing their pungent but exotic silage. U also can smell the leather Chesterton armchair, that is sat by the side or a warm, glowing flame of a sandalwood fire. Through an open window, the air is full of mysterious and sensual wafts of spices, hot coffee and vanilla blossom!! And the smell of rum on a lovers breath!!! A truly amazing perfume, full of desire and excitement, power and tenderness at the same time. Gorgeous and sexy as a male fragrance, but daring, sensual and unabashed on a confident woman. Use a small amount, in places where u would want to be kissed, (as Marilyn Monroe said of Chanel) and enjoy the attention of a captivated, enchanted and mesmerised audience!!

Wonderful! Very long lasting with enormous sillage. Must test it before buy. At the beginning i found some similarities to Versace crystal noir, then something between Van cleef & arpels precious oud and oud to carthage Boucheron. But this one is more feminine from Boucheron's one. I like it. That's all I can say.

Very spicy, boozy and slightly musky. Very mature smell, it definitely makes a statement. Great performance. Another good one from Testament.
