Liquid Sun

Liquid Sun is a beautiful green, non-soapy orange blossom-neroli scent, with a hint of creamy coconut. I love neroli and orange blossom and this is a lovely one at a really good price ($18 at Burlington). I was worried that it wouldn't have any longevity (I'd tried Blooming Opal before and it didn't last at all, plus some reviewers said it has no longevity) but Liquid Sun actually performed decently for 6 or 7 hours -- I could still smell my scent bubble without putting my nose to my arm, though I definitely applied a LOT --15-20 sprays! I'm unfamiliar with LV Sun Song or TF Neroli Portofino but, to my nose, LS is reminiscent of the slightly stronger, sharper Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Bianca, a gorgeous neroli perfume I recently acquired; it's just softer. I'm very happy to have picked this one up; orange blossom and neroli are such happy, joyous scents.

99.5% Louis Vuitton Sun Song. Glad I found this one because I was bummed when LV discontinued Sun Song. The only difference to my nose is this one doesn't last as long, but it's just as wonderful.

100% unisex !! A Neroli base fragance so you can get a TF Neroli Portofino/4711 vibe but more sweet and creamy due the coconut note! Great gem here!!

I was bummed when LV discontinued Sun Song but this fragrance smells very similar. It has a bright burst of citrus and neroli with a clean dry down.

I initially came across the idea of this from the Perfume Guy, whom seems to share the same affinity for old school scents and masculine florals as I do. When he mentioned smelling LV Sun Song in Liquid Sun, I looked into it. Some others compare it to Tom Ford Sole di Positano and Aerins Mediterranean Honeysuckle. To my nose it is a much more solar TF Neroli Portifino initially, that then becomes LV Sun Song. The mandarin leaf is still more vetiver to me in the open, taking a backseat to the neroli. It's the heart that I think gives the Sun Song vibes as it really is solar, for lack of a better word, evoking the feeling of the sun shining on your skin (not a sunscreen smell), developing some tropical fruits with a blooming orange blossom. The base is musky warm woods, like walking in a forest after an afternoon thunderstorm in July...it's almost muggy. Very interesting fragrance.

Normally, I pass on celebrity fragrances. There was only one bottle at the Burlington near me, and I have never seen it at any other stores. So I took a $20 gamble on this one based on a couple of YouTube reviews, given it was so inexpensive. First impressions: The neroli is quite strong in the opening. It reminded me of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino. The dry down has left me with a musky neroli skin scent. It’s pleasant and clean. I don’t get any coconut at all. I can only barely detect peony. Maybe the neroli is overwhelming it. I look forward to wearing this when it’s 100 degrees outside.

Orange blossom, citrus, white floral. This projects nicely upon first spray but fades quickly- within the hour- to a skin scent, at least on me. Pretty and bright, heavy on the orange blossom. Reminds me of a more neroli-heavy version of Sung by Alfred Sung. I also already have Fleur D'Oranger by Solinotes which satisfies all need for neroli for me.

Looked a couple of YouTube channels and heard decent things about this fragrance. Very nice inexpensive fragrance, however longevity is lacking. Reminds me of another favorite of mine, D&S Durga Italian Citrus.

Gorgeous scent, takes me back in time to childhood, games, summer holidays. But the longevity is so poor on my skin. Too bad. Would’ve been a great fragrance.

A very well done neroli fragrance. More green than creamy in my opinion. Very unisex also.

This was not as exciting as I thought it would be. I basically get mandarin leaf and a barely there flower. The initial first spray smells a bit like floor cleaning solution. If you can get past that, the dry down can be pleasant if you enjoy greenery, which I do. I am happy I didn't buy this when it was being sold at Macy's for $60-80 dollars. I found this at Burlingtons for $10. Pretty bottle and yes this does smell like something a guy could wear.

This was my high school perfume. It smells like a citrusy vanilla alcoholic drink in a good way. I remember it lasted like about 6 hours on me, and My classmates liked the smell lingering in the air

Liquid Sun is a really bright, lemony neroli scent. Fresh, sour, sunny. There is a hint of tropical frangipani. It does remind me of Neroli Portofino or a similar Tom Ford fresh scent. Perhaps more musky and tart, though.

LV Sun Song opening. Obviously way weaker/cheaper juice. Completely linear keeping that same vibe the entire wear. Reapply often.

Lovely soft citrus reminiscent of Jean Nate – for the 2.5 minutes it lasts. It literally evaporated in under five minutes.

I get a lemon, fresh scent with this one. Very nice. Literally reminds me of sunshine. Can be unisex in a way.
