Bravi

This was love at first sniff for me, but I waited 6 months before posting this, because, you know how things are to us when they are shiny and new. The flavor of the week so to speak. But this has held up for me in all that time. I find it to be intoxicatingly beautiful, in an almost sensual way. If smell were a texture, this would be silk. It’s smooth. So smooth. There is nothing sharp or jagged here for me. The notes most apparent to me that I would be able to pick out without seeing them listed here are, tuberose first and foremost, followed by a nutty quality (I don’t have confidence that I’d be able to distinguish walnut over any other nut), milk or cream, and honey in the background but strong enough for me to pick it up. Despite having gourmand qualities, this fragrance also has a clean and fresh side to it as well. Not quite soapy or shampoo-like, but close to it. It’s just a vague idea that’s present though, and not the main characteristic. It has a lightness or airiness that compliments the heavier notes so beautifully. It never feels like a heavy fragrance and I appreciate that. The performance is really good, I get 5-8 hrs with it depending on the weather and my activity level. I’m actually shocked to see that some people complain about poor performance. I would never label this perfume in that way. It also projects more than I expected it to. People around me definitely notice it. I wouldn’t call it a room filler, but it’s definitely not shy. But because it has the airiness, it stays in the non-offensive realm. There is a sweetness to it that goes beyond floral sweet, but I’d say that the sweetness is balanced well also. To me, it’s not cloying or overly sweet. But that’s definitely something I feel each person needs to decide for themselves. I feel that this fragrance is very feminine. But I almost always view tuberose fragrances as feminine, so make of that what you will. I feel beautiful when I wear this. I love it!

I was binging YouTube Perfume content one night. I came upon Eloise of "Eloise Scents," who raved about Thameen "Bravi." I like Eloise a lot. Her perfume preferences oftentimes resonate with mine. So, I found a "new bottle minus a few sprays" of Bravi at a great price and snapped it up. I thought, "Why not?" Bravi is gorgeous. Blind buy success, I'd say. As a side-note, I ADORE tuberose-centric fragrances. I've likely owned/own/sampled nearly 50 tuberose perfumes in recent years. Matiere Premiere "French Flower" and Nishane "Tuberoza" are loves. Bravi opens with a detectible citrus accord, which I imagine is bitter orange. I do not detect much ginger in the opening (which is fine, as I'm not a huge fan of ginger as a strong opening note). A thick, syrupy, honeyed-tuberose immediately emerges. The mid-notes are heady. Honey and tuberose dominate. This is not bubble-gum tuberose, nor is the tuberose cloying, indolic, or overly-green. And I definitely detect a lovely, creamy, milky, nutty-walnut accord from mid-to dry down. There's vanilla in the base. Not sure I smell anything akin to tobacco, which is a note I love. Bravi is creamy, lactonic, nutty and with tobacco but never suffocating, or dense. Bravi wears in an ethereal, lightweight and diaphanous manner. I really love this stuff! I'd say it's a must try for any lover of a creamy, honeyed, tuberose fragrance with a twist. Glad I snagged a 100ml bottle!

I lived with this perfume on my wrist and clothes for a full day, travelling on a coach to London to see my friends in Hackney. I am usually a little fearful of gourmands - I don't like smelling like a dessert, probably owing to spending my university years when I had yet to round out my personality smothered in Lolita Lempicka... Then, Baccarat Rouge has always made me feel nauseous. I get it - it's a commercial masterpiece but to me it smells of a dropped middle class cake. THIS. Bravi is how you do gourmand. I got every sense of the honeyed hazelnut, playing with the flowers. It felt perfect for that daytime bit of travel from city to city, warming my cashmere jumper, incubating on an empty bus. This is a lush creamy, sparkling tuberose. It's like someone threw a glass of champagne over a bouquet of tuberose and you're sitting next to them having a conversation about the wedding that went south - and relieved it isn't yours. I also get that one could amp it up with evening wear and I get the connection to the opera. It is a very Diva scent, a very safe blind but but also unique enough to garner interest. EDIT: Womp, looks like this just went out of distribution.

This is the most comforting smell to me, at first try it really reminded me of the dark blue nivea lotion, even though the only note they share is the bergamot - the comfort probably comes from the women in my family all using that nivea lotion😄 It just makes me so happy. The perfume has really good staying power and sillage in my opinion, at first I mainly smell the ginger with honey, like a really honeyed ginger tea, a bit later it gets really creamy and I start to smell the tuberose and the walnut to calm down the sweetnes of the honey a bit, tho it never gets cloying with the ginger and the citruses. The rest of the time it doesn’t really change, which I like as the drydown is beautiful. Not sure if this is my style, but I am really tempted to buy a bottle purely because how comforting it is. I believe it can be worn throughout the whole year, maybe not in really high heat, but I’d imagine this would be lovely on a summer night.

I read an article about THAMEEN perfumes...a brand I'd not experienced. I ordered a few samples. Each one is very good...very appealing. I fell *deep* for BRAVI and ordered a 10ml. While enjoying the travel size I felt I needed to have a full bottle. Why? It's not like my perfumes selection/collection is in short supply. Funny how our minds work. I ordered a full bottle (new) then saw a partial bottle for sale (on Mercari) and bought that, too. (I'll gift that one to a good friend.) BRAVI...to me and my nose...feels comfortable//comforting like Jardin des Misfah meets Ex Nihilo *Explicite* and something else I can't quite put my finger on. BRAVI is perfect just the way it is. This morning....on a whim...I added a schpritz of Lush *Cardamom Coffee*. Extraordinary. 10/10

Ok not to be dramatic but by God this is one of the most beautiful and wearable things I have ever gotten my nose on. I just ordered a full bottle. The blending here is so unusual, and its such a modern classic. Is it natural? Hell naw but its still so pretty.. She is stunning and fresh, with zippy orange and ginger ushering in creamy white tuberose dripping honey. Fresh tobacco lingers in a surprisingly soft way in the background. The creamy walnut milk is quite realistic to me, and gives structure to the juxtaposed notes. Despite all of the variation in this profile, there is so much grace and legato in the blending, its miraculous. Easily signature worthy, all-season, slightly more feminine, moderate sillage and good longevity.

Okay, so, for context I love this scent. It wasn't one that I immediately knew how I felt about but it took root into my heart the more I wore it! I do understand why some people said they got cleaning solution on the initial spray, but I smell actually a delightful spice note I think is the ginger that makes it less like Lysol and more like a fancy fizzy orange drink. I have to say, I tried Lacura by Mendittorosa around the same time and they both have the "creamsicle" aspect to them but I think Lacura DOES smell like cleaning solution whereas this one veers away from that and stays in the lovely fragrance territory. It's a creamy, spicy, nutty orange scent with a bit of powder on the drydown. I love it.

This is really nice! Very comforting and classy at the same time. It brings images to mind of being wrapped in a fluffy wool sweater, sitting by the fireplace and reading. Or you can dress it up too! The white florals in here smells very high end. It starts off as a bright citrusy white floral but begins to warm up and darken just a tad, becoming a tuberose sweetened by honey, with just a touch of nuttiness, vanilla and tobacco in the dry down. Very well balanced. Sillage is definitely moderate, but it lasts a fairly long time for a cologne elixir! I got about 8 hours on my skin and it definitely lingers on your clothes for a few days. So, so, so calming to my nose. I love it.

I was exploring new perfume houses and picked this one at random. I'm not going to waste your time here : It was love at first sniff. There is something so regal to it (probably due the saffron), and I was immediately in love with it. it's sweet but smooth, not sickly. The creaminess of the walnut milk contrats beautifully with the citrus and ginger notes, the tuberose adds sensuality to the vanilla and the tobacco notes grounds it beautifully while adding a touch of mystery. The honey note adds that stickiness akin to sweet treats without being overpowering. It honestly feels like what a Goddess would wear. This is a beautiful fragrance, leans on the feminine side to me.

Very good quality, stayed on my skin for the whole day, very rich until the evening. I can smell every note listed above. To me it smells like milky honey hand soap, which is not my vibe, so I’ll give it a pass. But if that’s your comfort scent, then it’s a great choice. EDIT: I’ve tried it a couple more times and I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It’s comforting and it doesn’t change throughout the day, once it dries down it stays the same. A bit of an older lady vibe, milky, a touch of ginger, honey and a touch of walnut bitterness.

This is literally Dior's Poison Esprit de Parfum minus the plums and incense. Which is why I always loved the vintage Poison. There's a more distinct and smooth honeyed center with creamy white florals to all the darkness around it. This is my favorite fragrance! It's such a long lasting and beast mode fragrance at just a few sprays. The tuberose is vibrant and creamy with a delicate honey backing it up. Divine! I'll wear it by itself, or layered with the newer Poison by Dior to recreate the original scent from so many years ago.

Had this fragrance for a few months now. Come to really like it. I think it does smell a lot like some dial soap I used many years ago, I think it’s some milk and honey kind of. So that being said , the citruses and tuberose does give it some soapiness . Even still, you can still get a lactonic , yet nutty undertone running right underneath . It gets sweeter in the dry down with a dry tobacco leaf coming out some more . The longevity is great I get about 8 hours and that to me is enough ; A huge like overall

I found this to be a very smooth fragrance. At the start, I mostly got Tuberose.. then the rest of the notes started blending in and it became a unique tuberose fragrance. I'm not great at really pin pointing which notes I'm smelling, but a couple hours after spraying it the tobacco kinda comes through and makes this a unisex fragrance in the dry down. I really like it, but I don't absolutely love it. Blue Heart by Thameen is my absolute love from this line!

This was love at first sniff! It’s a warm spicy milky white floral. This could be worn anytime of year except high heat ( may be to much when in the 90’s) every phase of this scent is lovely the opening is gorgeous and spicy the middle is sweet and warm, the dry down is a soft warm lactonic white floral that makes me feel happy and relaxed. I don’t have anything quite like it in my collection.

Oh my goodness, what a beauty!! And this is saying something as I usually avoid tuberose scents!! The first spray is fresh and floral and citrusy with a zing to it (probably that ginger note?). Then comes that honeyed note with a slight gourmand twist, it’s divine✨✨✨ The dry down is my favorite part: chocolate-y vibes with a nutty background that just smells mouthwatering! Absolute love♥️♥️

Love at first sniff. To my nose its definitely honey floral oriented scent with honey being very thick and go straight to your nostrill. It's a unique and smooth fragrance, and female leaning. If you like honey then good chance you are gonna like this. The dry down is a bit calm compare to the loud opening but it's still a rounded and beautiful scent.

I can’t fully explain why, but this scent carries an old money vibe. A slow drive down an autumn road, orange leaves under the tires, a classic Porsche moving without hurry. Tuberose and honey are softened by milky notes and lifted with a quiet touch of citrus. Warm, restrained, and timeless. It also feels distinctly minimalistic.

Super sweet and creamy tuberose with some really nice freshness that balances out the whole composition. I think the freshness comes from citruses and some aromatic notes (which are a bit similar to ones you can find in Fanfare). The nutty facet is present here, but not too obvious for me. A gorgeous creamy sun-kissed clean and honeyed tuberose that's not in the slightest bit green. It's summery and reminds me of a high end suntan lotion missing the predictable coconut. The citruses keep this light and airy feeling. Leans pretty girlie however I'd enjoy smelling a confident dude pulling this off.

Gorgeous take on airy, soapy, honeyed tuberose with unique twist of lightly powdery nut milk. Very feminine, but might work for some guys. It's very intoxicating and it might as well be named Naxos Pour Femme, with tuberose instead of lavender. Not that they smell similar, but both share opulent, rich vibe.

I don’t get most of the notes mentioned. But having said that, this fragrance needs a confident person since it’s more than just a tad feminine leaning. I could also see this being layered with something dry, or maybe even an oud. It does smell pretty good, but florals are very very prominent

A great lactonic, sweet, flowery perfume that you want to lick or drink....such a magnetic charm....more on the feminine side but personally, I have no problem to wear it....at all....the milk from the walnuts and the tuberose is all the game....it is powerful and the quality is very high.

It smells like everything that’s most beautiful in the world. The scent of old money, a ride in a ’60s Porsche, exquisite shoes, and a beautiful sweater made of the finest cashmere. It smells like a beautiful person.

Lovely honey tuberose scent, really long lasting. It is a warm, sweet floral, but not just that - tobacco, ginger and saffron give it depth and make it very interesting and even more addictive. Love

This is incredibly good.Fleshy tubereuse with sweet honey, drowning in something uniquely creamy (I'm guessing walnut milk?). It is very unusual, and at the same time oddly familiar.

I adore this so much, and after it hit discounters the prices are bearable. Bought a bottle for myself (im a man). For me this is the best tuberose of recent years.

Something about this reminds me in feeling of sunshine woman by Amouage. I realize they are different in many ways but there are something about it. Love ❤️ it

Floral honey pollen with a slight hint of citrus bitterness. Hours later becomes honey white flowers. Incredibly beautiful and long-lasting

I’m using that a lover of citrus scents but the interplay of citrus and the honey is quite appealing. It’s bright in the opening followed by muted sweetness of the honey. I get a faint hint of vanilla . I would love this for spring, summer.

My first perfume from Thameen and it smells amazing! The tuberose opening quickly changes to a complex gourmand honey, nutty scent I can't get enough of! Blind buy worthy and FB needed!

Damn this ish strong!!. Very unique and defo more feminine. I can see this becoming cloying or headache inducing after a while. Very polarising

In the opening, it is very similar to Jardins De Misfah. It's nice and soft blending, very opulent and elegant.

It's very soapy smelling on my skin. Smells like Sunlight soap, which is a brand of laundry soap/laundry detergent and dishwashing detergent. However, on paper, it's much sweeter and floral, so much different than on my skin. It opens very citrusy and seems like an airier fragrance, but it gets denser much faster. I can't discern the vanilla. May be its the combination of honey and saffron that make it have that soapy smell. The honey may be contributing to the musky/animalic scent. Not sure if this will smell different in very cold weather. I tried it out when I was in London in the Winter and I loved it, but I did spray it at the Selfridges perfume hall, which is not a great place to get a good indication of what a fragrance smells like, b/c so many fragrances are being sprayed by multiple people. It has some resemblance to Initio, Musk Therapy, not a dupe at all, but in the same family. It lasts a long time, and has good silage. Try before you buy, this is not a safe blind buy.

To my nose this opens like an explosion of citrus and ginger. After a minute some sweetness comes through, but the scent still remains zesty and somewhat fresh. After fifteen more minutes the freshness subsides and some creaminess emerges. To me this is more of a spring and early fall scent. I get moderate longevity and decent sillage for the first thirty minutes. After that the fragrance sits closer to the skin. A decent representative of the Britologne line, but if you are looking for a more refined fragrance I would suggest the line blue bottles.

Funny enough, my friend wore Bravi when we went to see The Barber of Seville together, and the fragrance is based on how the love and passion for the opera ignites friendships 🎭 The sillage of this fragrance is insane, I could smell her from multiple seats away, and the longevity is impressive as well. I appreciate the lactonic take on tuberose, I think the honey and walnut milk accord compliment it well. While I'm not a fan of tuberose, I could see tuberose enthusiasts really enjoying this one 🙂

Happy floral gourmand fragrance that delivers a feeling of comfort and familiarity. The scent opens with notes of bergamot, orange and slight ginger. The heart is a dominant tuberose surrounded by honey and slight saffron. The perfume settles on a bed of synthetic musk with hints of walnut, tobacco and vanilla. The feminine leaning fragrance has moderate sillage and good longevity. Pleasant, inoffensive and cheery but the tuberose is a bit too dominant for my liking. Enjoy!

I see why people would like this, but it’s not for me. It’s interesting and unique and doesn't read synthetic to me. There’s just something about the combination of the ginger, walnut, citrus and floral that feels uncomfortable to me for some reason. Based on the note from the maker, it seems like this tension is intentional. It almost reminds me of my grandma’s rice pudding, where she used to add nuts & seeds, dried fruit, candied ginger and honey.

I can’t believe the hype surrounding this fragrance. It smells like something out from the refrigerator that just went off. It is truly NOT a safe blind buy. My husband on the other side says it smells like old style detergent (smells like amyris) bar soap from granny’s house with walnut milk and honey. It’s a strange combination that didn’t work for neither of us. Sad 😞

This is a disappointment for me. It smells generic and surprisingly cheap, like a random department store fragrance with no distinctive character. I kept waiting for something elegant or memorable to develop, but it stayed flat on my skin. Opening is nice. A bit better in cold weather. Don't overspray.

Smells like if you poured almond milk in hospital soap. That’s the best way I could describe it. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of this one, I could see how some people would like this though.

Orange gas station soap with some added sweetness in the air. At first sniff you think, wow, nice, but then something offensive just leaps out at you like a sleep paralysis demon.

The walnuts kill it all for me. It’s smelling like soap and something weird. It’s cloyingly sweet. Not my cup of tea to be honest and I don’t think it’s a safe blind buy. Try before buying!

Opening wow sooo good, everything after gives me headaches and makes me almost sick.

65% Citrus-honey, 25% tuberose, 10% generic perfumey laundry detergent, I don't smell any vanilla or walnut (or anything nutty, sadly). The scent profile reminds me a lot of the Garnier Whole Blends Honey line. This was a risky blind buy, I was so sure I would love it (milk? tuberose? vanilla? sign me up!) but it's not what I expected. I'm sadly in the "this smells like laundry and hygiene products" camp. Maybe it'll be better in the winter, maybe it'll get better with age, maybe my hormones are impacting my perspective, maybe it's my skin chemistry, maybe I just don't like honey as a note, I don't know. I think I imagined Bravi would smell like, 25% citrus-honey, 25% tuberose, 25% vanilla, 25% Italica (lol), or maybe like Blanche Bete with a touch of honey and citrus and nutty notes, but it's totally not like that at all. I would categorize this scent as a moderately sweet citrus-floral, rather than floral-gourmand. And maybe I just have to accept that that's the scent profile and enjoy it for what it is, rather than being disappointed in what it's not. I'll spray it on my partner and see if it's any better, I just wish the milk & vanilla notes were stronger. ETA: To me this smells way, WAY better when it's cold. I can finally get the milky floral honey thing when it's cold. The perfume-y-ness is tamped down. Absolutely addictive, but if it's anything above 12 deg C outside, I will not wear it. it smells better if sprayed further away from the nose (i.e., armpit cracks, back, back of knees) otherwise it can be a little overwhelming. I do feel that this is a more grown up scent, for 30+ (maybe 35+) IMO, but very beautiful.

God, this is such an evocative perfume. I think I said it smelled very comforting and cozy in an earlier comment, but there's something else going on as well. Something about the walnut milk accord, combined with the citrus and ginger in the opening reminds me of freshly-cleaned, sleek wooden floors. Maybe not the wood itself, but the veneer. Extremely smooth and crisp. It makes me imagine a small, fancy concert in a very nice, modern theatre. The air is a little crisp and cold too, and it's mostly older, upper-middle class people in the audience. Or a very nice library. It's so interesting and unique. I haven't actually tried wearing it out yet, but I just like to spray my sample on the back of my hand and sniff it at home lol. It's not very sweet at all, although there's a hint of brown sugar in the deep dry down. Most interesting fresh "gourmand" (though I don't think I'd actually consider it a gourmand) I've ever tried.

Goes on sweet with a faint spiky wood in the back and something floral like an iris or a brightly colored tulip. It’s a strange melange of unidentified sweetness, chemical wood and that floral note, but it's not bad. As it dries, a creamy lotion-like feel comes in. I mostly get very sweet notes over a not unpleasantly-synthetic fragrance, but there’s no marked mood or statement here. It’s mostly just super sweet on me. As it dried to the end of the day, I got a much nicer woody honey scent that I like a LOT more than the first four hours or so. For the bulk of it’s wear on me, it’s just undefined sweetness with some vague notes swimming around in it. Will work better on different chemistry, I’m sure.
