Striking smoky woody aromatic scent built around a very nice frankincense note. The perfume has a brief aromatic opening of pink pepper, cypress and juniper berry before it goes into another brief heart of geranium, sage and slight rose. The perfume settles on the smoky dominant frankincense quickly surrounded by synthetic musky amber notes, vetiver and slight oud. The masculine leaning scent has strong projection and excellent longevity. Must try for incense and smoky scent lovers. Enjoy!

I liked this one. Upon first spray, I get a spicy gin and tonic effervescent blast. It stays that way for 30-45 minutes and then starts to transform into a floral herbal smell (not specifically rose) before ultimately evolving into a smoldering incense wood. Nice evolution in this fragrance and appreciated the journey this took me on.

I don't know if I received a bad sample or what, but this smells straight up like rubbing alcohol. And it's unfortunately very strong. One of those fragrances that literally leaves a bad taste in one's mouth.

After two wears from a 2ml sample (two sprays behind each ear), I’m going to need more time to adequately describe what I smell. However...... I will first explain that my first wear was concerning, if not disappointing. A poster commented about a garage varnish type smell, and that stuck out to me at first spray. Eventually it became a highly aromatic bomb with very subtle note of rose. I pretty much had written it off and so glad I didn’t blind buy it like I was so close to doing so many times. The next day, I decided to give it another go. The first time was indoors, 2 sprays on the back of my wrist. I was going out and thought, what the heck, so I applied 2 sprays behind each ear. No more varnish smell and the aromatics were very much in check. I was highly encouraged. I definitely could sense the cypress and pepper with an undercurrent of rose. There was a little weight to it as well, which I assume was the frankincense and smoke. I got one compliment from a woman who was a little more than arm length away and I was just sitting idly. I got a second compliment from my girlfriend during an embrace. Bun that time I had been wearing it for about 9 hours. After stating I was surprised she could still smell it, she explained that it was highly detectable but by no means overwhelming. She gave me another compliment about 4 hours after that after just getting in bed (presumably a skin scent) and a third compliment when we woke up this morning (obviously a full on skin scent by that point). On my first spray, I had a rough time relating the name “Coronet” to what I was smelling. On second spray, I did get a royal elegance feel from this in a signature scent kind of way. Classy, regal, and sophisticated. This is sexy but in a romantic way if that makes sense. I have nothing in my collection like this and I am strongly considering a full bottle purchase. I will definitely exhaust my sample first before deciding for sure. This is a cold weather fragrance, day or night but not casual. Office, night out and special occasions. Update: 2/3/26 Apparently, I'm filling my office pretty well, and there is a dense sillage that lingers for quite a while based on what a coworker just told me. And it's a fragrance that is well liked to the point of asking me what I'm wearing. I have been complimented everytime I've worn this. This appears to be a fragrance that may not seem to be highly perceptible to the wearer but is very much so to others in the room. I also think this is a very positively different fragrance in the air than what you get on skin or test strip.
