Diadem

Indeed this reminds me off halfetti, or rather the opening off halfetti, Diadem opens upp on one off the best Cardemom notes you could think off,spicy warm and insane high quality olibanum, then it transform into that saffron jasmin spicy delicious Halfetti opening and mid, then it dose a third transition into a nice vanilla amber drydown w small hints off rose, this is marvelous and so well done, when a scent transforms and blooms out like this sporting high quality ingredients in a humble little blue square bottle, first spray and the smell went silent...then boom!!! lift off and now 9 hours later im left with a smooth vanilla that just wont die down.

Got mine today. Absolutely magical. I can’t describe the opening because I can’t sort out what I am smelling, it’s thrilling. The silage is amazing. The opening is spicy and hot although very delicate. It’s like smelling a really scented flower. It’s wet, warm, heavenly fragrant. I felt a mix of incense inside an ancient atrium surrounded by ancient roses. It stayed fiercely on me for about 5 hours. Now it dried out and it’s soft and powdery on my skin. The packaging is a show for itself. Stunning. Such a respect for us fans and consumers. It’s my second Thameen London and I look up for trying a sample of carved wood. Love Thameen. Thank you.

Divine. I could write more words, but I’m not sure I would add anything new. Diadem is absolutely an easy to wear, middle eastern inspired incense perfume. Dry down goes into a smooth and powdery amber base. It’s a struggle for me to keep my collection around 200 bottles. Every time I add something new, I will force myself to edit and let go of something....so it’s getting harder. But Diadem is one I can never imagine letting go. Never. I need to stop checking out Thameen, because every time I do, I find another that I love from this brand.

A lovely fougere centered around a beautiful Omani frankincense this perfume is an exotic Oriental dream. The perfume opens with the frankincense surrounded by notes of cardamom and lavender. The brief floral heart reveals rose and saffron flower. The perfume dries to a powdery amber surrounded by vanilla and patchouli. A regal sophisticated unisex perfume with moderate to strong sillage and excellent longevity. This is an easy recommendation for woody Oriental and incense lovers. Enjoy!

As one who owns and loves a number of incense based fragrances, this is one of the most elegant treatments of olibanum I've found. Frankincense dominates for the first several hours, with lavender, saffron and cardamom playing (lightly) supporting roles. Diadem is never harsh, even the opening is wonderful, and over time it becomes more refined and slightly more powdery. It's certainly a fragrance I'm glad to have in my collection.

Soft lavender and sweet creamy sandalwoods, frankincense, spicy cardamom and a hint of rose. I own magnetic blend 7 (designed for layering) and Rehab from Initio. I’ve commonly blended these two together and this is very close to my nose. Frankincense elevates Rehab to a new level. Really gorgeous blend.

I bought this for £63 on Notino and for that price it is absolutely quality. You can smell that it has great ingredients and is well blended, beautiful lavender to start with

I’m not hugely familiar with this style of fragrance and to be honest, I find the opening a little bit off-putting; for my taste, it’s incredibly bold and the saffron overpowers the rose hugely in the mid but that dry down...... oh my word, the dry down is out of this world. It’s simply stunning and I’m in love, with the interplay between the amber, patchouli & vanilla balanced absolutely perfectly for me. It’s lush & exotic, giving me creamy woods, not too much sweetness and a wonderful dryness. I’m hoping that wearing it more will turn my overall like into a love because I’ve got to work through it to experience the incredible dry down again, so fingers crossed!

Cardamom bomb of an opening with frankincense plus fresh herbal lavender, but atypical representations of these notes to my nose. The cardamom practically smells like black pepper, very earthy and spicy, while the incense is more smoky than usual. Gets sweeter as it dries down, with a slightly leathery saffron and base notes slowly peeking through the top, rose barely present. Strong projection for 2-3hr, longevity 16hr+.

If there is either lavender, or vanilla, there is a high probability I will like a fragrance. This has both, so yes, Diadem , although a strange title for a masculine perfume, won me over. Overall it’s a well-blended composition (like many Thameens). My strongest impression is a masculine, vanillic, warm cardamom spicy, slightly herbal from the lavender, with a slight touch of warm incense from the olibanum, which is very gentle, and nice. It has a freshness from the lavender, and possibly the rose, but it’s overall not a fresh fragrance. Rather warm, and cosy. Lavender always gives me a bit of an old worldly-feeling, but in a nice and positive way. Modern gentleman. You could totally wear a pinstripe grey wool suit with this. It’s not formal, but for sure elegant. The vanilla is present, but it’s not overpowering. I don’t get the saffron or patchouli a lot, which I think is a good thing. It’s well-balanced in the background. I don’t get the rose very much either, but with some imagination I can sense it’s there. I think the lavender is much more present. Performance is ok. You might expect it to last longer than it actually does, but it’s still ok. Price might be a little too high, but if you love it, just go for it. For me, it’s a like, but I’m not really an incense-kind of person, no matter how modern it might be. One of the nicer ones from Thameen I have tried this far. My favourite is Insignia , and Diadem might come second due to the lovely use of lavender, beautifully combined with the incense and vanilla. I would not call it an amber but it has an ambery facet due to the use of olibanum.

Opening is a bit disappointing. Thought it was going to be a boring unremarkable middle eastern rose incense fragrance off the bat. Then it dries down to halfeti but a bit more barbershoppy and kinda versataile I think. It really reminds me of old school shaving foam for some reason. I like it alot. Got a good deal so I'm happy. Edit: smells like spicey gummy bears Edit again: slowly reaching for this more and more in winter. It's a refined gentleman's fragrance with a middle eastern twist with the incensy woods and amber sweetness along with the spices and resins held together by the vanilla. Really solid fragrance.

A little disappointed by this but not really Diadem's fault. It smells a bit similar to Halfeti, especially in the dry down. But this doesn't feel superior. I don't even feel it lasts any longer despite the extrait concentration. Don't get me wrong. It is a beautiful scent. But Halfeti exists, which makes this somewhat redundant considering the price per ml is not competitive. I'll be selling my bottle.

Initially an intense burst of western incense and cardamom, but it gradually reveals a sweet lavender aftershave accord. Not all that special and a bit generic as a masculine scent, but lovely nonetheless. This is nothing like Halfeti and Mr Sam, no idea why they're being compared, if anything it's more similar to Lord George. Source: Official 2ml Sample Date of Purchase: 14/3/2025

Very similar to Sceptre except instead of ylang yglang and peach you get lavender. It’s a very unisex or “cool” lavender to me, not creamy or powdery, and blends marvelously with the spices. Between Sceptre and Diadem, Diadem might actually be the more masculine fragrance.

This is a dark and brooding incense fragrance that's quite reminiscent of my old bottle of Amouage Epic Man. Thameen makes high quality scents, but in my experience they are rarely original (Riviere is the only exception of what I've tried).

A blast of ginger, dry cedarwood and cardamom. After about 10 minutes it settles into a rose & saffron composition that is very soft and rounded. Reminds me a bit of Penhaligon's Halfeti at this stage actually. Pleasant, easy to like!

This is nice fragrance but it’s smell exactly same as oud de cartridge by boucheron.If u want to buy diadem I will prefer to buy oud de cartridge and in less money and more mls.
