Keeva

Keeva by Thauy is supposedly a unisex fragrance but I believe that it is more feminine than masculine. I found this at a Fragrance Outlet store and it was love at first sniff. Keeva unfolds with an essence of gentleness and beauty. What I get is that this fragrance opens with a fresh burst of pear, spicy black pepper, and soft cashmere, creating a vibrant and welcoming introduction. The heart reveals a warm, sophisticated blend of creamy sandalwood, I do not detect any pink pepper or cassis which is good because I very much dislike pink pepper, I find it has been a recent fragrance hype and I am not fond of it. As the fragrance settles, a rich base of cedar wood, white musk, and clean amber leaves a lasting impression of elegance and embodying a delicate feminine strength. This is a wonderful Autumn/Winter fragrance. I recommend this perfume.

I am a HUGE fan of Thauy, and Keeva does not fall short from my expectations The pear really mellows out the black/pink pepper, giving that peppery smell without causing a headache or shock to your nose. Feels refreshing and unique to wear. The pepper continues even into the dry-down, but transitions from a fresh-pepper into a woody-pepper scent, both being beautiful. I can see this being used in all seasons but winter, more leaning towards fall. I can also see this as Unisex, and is very long lasting with moderate sillage (seems to be a trend with Thauy). Not blind buy safe, but definitely mass appealing and turns heads.
