Blackberry Lily

Oh wow, this hits nice: sweet, lightly-powdered, tart, blackberry rose and geranium jam. The lily is trying to peek through, but I'm honestly not getting a lot of white florals around the bright red ones and juicy, dark berries. Hmm. No caramel either. Not mad about that. Gosh, that geranium accord is pretty. The notes I am catching complement each other so well. The dry down is nothing groundbreaking but likeable. It's a fairly linear scent with the top gradually fading but not entirely vanishing. (Though, I'm 16+ hours out and it seems to survive almost totally intact on fabric.) I was worried about the base notes taking over as other reviewers have mentioned — especially that patchouli, not a fan — but it seems to be behaving on my skin. It's just a faint, nondescript, woodsy-sweet amber now. This could be an everyday scent for an energetic, young professional. It's surprisingly uplifting and pleasant. I always expect niche house offerings to underperform, but this is genuinely good. Well-blended. Well-done.

So this smells mostly like Lily and blackberry patchouli with some caramel and I'm obsessed. It smells like a much more blackberry cousin of Miss Dior edt. As it dries down it also reminds me a bit of Gold Couture with the berry/caramel combo. It develops to have a slight creamy amber and more of the rose floral comes out. It also has the slightest kick of spicyness, I'm suprised pink peppercorn isn't a note. It has a complexity yet fresh quality that makes it perfectly suited for millennial aged and I love it during the fall. Edit As of September 23 this is discontinued which is a huge shame. This is honestly one of their best scents. The owner said they have a new fruity gourmand coming out so they took this one out. They're releasing a new cherry scent so they're obviously jumping on the what was popular last year bandwagon. Such a shame

This Blackberry Lilly fragrance is being discontinued as I write this review. I managed to get 2 of the travel sprays, and I'm glad I did. I've learned my lesson. I waited too long to buy another favorite deeply discounted and discontinued by the brand. Blackberry Lilly is a complex fruity floral with earthy elements, and it lasts and projects well on me. It feels more unique and inspired than some of their newer releases (although good), which tend to be similar to trending fragrances and brands (Santal Vanille, Cherry Ambition, Amber Vanilla). The 7 Virtues have, in my opinion, made stellar fragrances, with clean ingredients and promote an ethical mission. That said I'm not happy about this fast-fashion trend-forward strategy they are leaning into.

I am BEYOND THRILLED to have found this deliciously intoxicating fragrance!!! I found it a few days before Christmas & couldn't justify spending money on myself. Fortunately I am married to the most amazing, wonderful man, & he surprised me with a large bottle for Christmas. Victoria's Secret used to have a perfume called "Victoria" in a blue & gold bottle 30 years ago that smelled very much like Blackberry Lily. When it was discontinued I was heartbroken, & I haven't been able to find anything comparable since. UNTIL NOW. This is the closest scent that I have ever found that reminds me of Victoria. Please don't ever stop making this! (But I will purchase a bottle every pay-day to build up a reserve so I never have to go without again.)

I want to start by saying that I am not the biggest vetiver fan, but this fragrances may have changed my mind! From the first spray there was a vetiver that was mixed so nicely with the tart fruitiness of the blackberry that it really smelled like I had just been around some foliage. I am a gourmand lover and this scent is not very obviously sweet to me with the usual notes of vanilla or marshmallow, but it is a realistic berry sweetness you get when you smell blackberries. I am so in love with it. There’s really such a wonderful mix florals as well that join in as it dries down. The lily smells soft and adds such a nice balance to the realistic tart berry. I really feel this one if perfect for everyday use and is not offensive to most!

This scent is amazing. I absolutely fell in love with the first time I found it. It’s not your average fruity gourmand. There’s something much deeper and more intricate to this. It may be the base notes. The patchouli and cedar add some real sophistication. I also detect the rose and love it with all the other notes. The blackberry and currant are just enough for a sweet and sour effect that is Devine. It’s not a super strong perfume—which I really prefer these days. It’s not at all overwhelming; it’s versatile enough for the office or date night. It last a good 7-8 hours on me. I love that this is a clean fragrance. I’ll be coming back for more of this. I grab this so often...it’s becoming a signature and forever staple.

Juicy, sweet blackberry, but not sweet in a sugary-vanilla way, sweet like natural fruit. Kind of like if you were eating super ripe blackberries near a bouquet of lilies. Slight lily/white floral after a couple hours but it's very faint. Not too complex - it is what it's named! This stuff smells delicious and is honestly one of my favorite scents, but the beautiful blackberry is only there for about 2-3 hours, and then a light white floral for about an hour. It also is intimate to moderate projection (but only moderate for maybe the first hour). For that reason I find it overpriced. By the way, I typically like sweet perfumes and berry scents but do NOT like them with patchouli, but I can't smell the patchouli in this.

I'm shocked that I love this perfume as much as I do. I think its because its highly feminine, but has a distinct masculine spine on my skin. The blackberry is sweet and ripe -- juicy. The lily is strong without being overpowering. And the patchouli & cedar give it a backbone that feels strong and capable to me. Juicy, sweet, ripe, round... yet also mysterious, capable, bold. I (F, 41) typically go for unisex perfumes -- I would call this one pretty highly femme. So femme I wouldn't normally enjoy it at all, but because of the backbone, it really works. It's a go-to for me.

I absolutely love this perfume! Strangely to me it smells absolutely nothing like blackberries OR lilies (okay, maybe it does smell a bit like a berry ice cream?), so I'm not sure why the name, but it's an almost gourmand sweet fragrance without being remotely cloying that is totally unique. It is warm, rich and slightly spicy. I don't have any other fragrances like it. It starts out strong and mellows out into something truly beautiful. I always get compliments on this and have been in love with it since first sniff.

I instantly loved this on first smell. It brings back all the fruity floral goodness of being a 20 year old in 2008. The carefree nature of youth overlaying the ominous unknown of the recession, and the moodiness of a goth girl you can take out of the fishnets, but you can't take the goth out of the girl. This girl wore daily libations of Rock'n' Rose from the Church of Valentino, and if you want to visit this historic place with me, combine it with Rose Amber, or any warm rose scent. You're welcome.

gifted to me by my sibling, i'm clinging onto the last 3rd of this bottle since it's been discontinued. love this one for when i'm feeling feminine - fresh and fruity and probably one of the sweetest perfumes i own, but i don't find it sickly-sweet. favorite memory while wearing it was getting a genuine and heartfelt compliment from a VERY drunk girl while we were waiting for cuban food at 1:00 AM.

This is an older more educated and cool sister of Vera Wang Princess. Totally reminiscent of it when it dries down. Blackberry goes away after the initial fry down and leaves an amber gourmand smell. Where can I buy another one it’s no longer on Sephora.

I’m heartbroken it’s been discontinued. This perfume smells like sugary ripe blackberries and lilies basking in the sun, sticky blackberry soda, and an artisan hand soap in a fairytale cottage. It’s sweet, refreshing, and divine in the late summer.

I actually like how it fades to a greener scent and how it isn't overpoweringly strong. I spray after a shower too and it's just enough. I've gotten compliments whilst wearing this and it's my scent for now - please don't discontinue!

This might be my all time favorite everyday perfume. It’s light and fruity with an undertone of sexy caramel and wood. It’s beautiful and easy and just all around great. I am devastated it’s been discontinued

I ADORE this scent! I get like a blackberry vanilla desert with roses and some cedar. I need to buy this bottle again.

So Delicious and fresh fruity.

The Blackberry Lily perfume oil is phenomenal. It smells like tart blackberry jam and skittles. The spray is still good but its far more patchouli heavy. I do wish it didn't have that patchouli aspect but it is still nice. The perfume is great, but the oil is spectacular. I would have bought the perfume version too if they smelled the same. Blackberry Lily has a dark forrest fairy vibe that I love so much. It's a very universal scent that could be worn in any season day or night. Unfortunately both recently got discontinued, so unless the 7 virtues decides to relaunch this its gone forever. I really hope that they end up relaunching this. I can only hope and dream.

I blind bought this when it went on sale at Sephora. When I first got it, I was disappointed not to really pick up on much of anything. It felt really water down and diluted. I kept over spraying to find the jammy blackberry that people kept talking about. However, once my nose opened up to the fragrance, it became a super delectable, deep fruity smell. The floral and woody notes play insanely well with the berry, giving a well rounded, complex, and completed feel. It’s comforting and a good introduction to fruit if you’re like me and prefer fragrances to have depth and body to counteract the sweetness.

can’t decide how i feel about this one lol. i really like the smell, just not really my style i guess? it’s a bit too flowery to be something i would wear often. i don’t hate it on myself, i just find the lily to be a little too much since i don’t usually wear flowery scents. however as it dries down i like it more and more. i got this in the peace discovery set. update: i actually really like this now lol. i just had to start wearing it more and now it’s getting nicer and nicer!

I don’t understand why this hasn’t gotten any reviews yet? It’s such a pretty scent. It smells like some sort of blackberry jam with a touch of clean floral. It nails the balance between fresh and sweet perfectly. Also, I know it’s marketed as unisex, but I find it highly feminine. I like to layer it with a Nemat perfume oil just to boost the performance a bit, which unfortunately is very poor. That’s the only thing about this product that doesn’t justify the high-end price tag.

This is a perfume I would wear in an alternate reality as a forest fairy or something. The blackberry and caramel with a bit of green is heavenly...at first. After about 30 minutes this gets very earthy and the patchouli is prominent. There is something special about this perfume but I don’t think I could wear this confidently. I’d never be sure whether I smelled magically good or just kind of unwashed.

The opening is quite green and reminds me of a perfume store. The blackberry note has this underlying darkness to it in the beginning that I don’t love and the lily is almost overpowering. I don’t think it smells like Meliora and there isn’t nearly as much fruit as I’d like. The drydown is a bit more balanced, and it changes to this jellybean scent, which I enjoy much more! It’s fresh and aromatic.

I love the blackberry is this one. I use Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme for that note in the autumn. This gem is for spring and summer. Blackberry note is prominent. The florals and patchouli come later in the dry down. I don't always enjoy caramel as a note but it doesn't bother me here. I like to layer this with Under the Lemon Trees from Maison Margiela. Great combination.

Maybe it was just my sample, but the blackberry was so fleeting (and completely covered by the lily-of-the-valley and vetiver). To me this was like 50% aromatic 25% white floral and 25% fruits. Not bad, but there are scents that do the fruits/aromatics combo better (I.e. Versense). If the florals were more distinct I probably would’ve liked this better.

Not a bad fragrance but, theres nothing about it that blows me away or makes me fall in love with it. I blind bought this because it was supposed to be a dupe for PDM Meliora. Im going to keep tryingnto love this but may end end up selling it.

Makes me feel like a dewy forest fairy when I wear it. It's cozy and fresh. I like to wear it on rainy and overcast days. It feels like curling up with a blanket and a cozy book and watching the rain drops through the window.

Lovely unique blackberry scent. The lily gives it a nice floral touch. Its a lightly sweet, fruity floral with a bit of depth from the amber for sure. Definitely a great warmer weather scent. Sad its discontinued.

Love this! Super fruity and floral. I have the perfume oil, and I think that it stays fruity for a while before drying down into a green and natural scent. Really beautiful, can't wait to use it to layer :)

I thought it was pretty. It's a kind of generic perfume scent, but I can smell the blackberry. It's feminine and a bit mature, fine for any occasion, subtly dark fairy-like.

Smells like a brambleberry pie my aunt used to make. I really enjoy this but it's not for every day because it's so sweet; I'm into more subtle gourmands these days.

I can’t believe this is being discontinued. It’s fresh and sweet at the same time she’s cute but my not style.

I love the opening and the middle, but it gets a little iffy for me in the dry down because I'm not a fan of patchouli, amber, or vetiver - especially when all three are mixed together. However, I will say that opening and middle are gorgeous! Fresh, juicy, jammy, photorealistic blackberry enveloped in soft and slightly green florals. If anyone knows of a perfume that has similar top and middle notes, but with a completely different base, please let me know!

At first spray this is soooo perfumey, I do not like the opening. After a while it does start to smell like Armani Si. But I still prefer Si over Blackberry Lily. Because it is perfumey ans synthetic, it feels very heavy to me. Si, on the other hand, is much better blended, much smoother. I got a discovery set, and this is my least favourite one for now.

just meh. an extremely sweet fruity floral, i might even categorize this as a gourmand bc the first hour or so was a very realistic berry pancake or muffin. faded into a sweet musk. very girly and a little juvenile as a whole. i didn’t dislike it, it’s just not my thing. sillage SUCKED like very badly

I adore the strawberry jam from this line so I blind bought this one assuming it would be in the same berry rendition of total juicy fresh amazement but on me its not giving any berry impression. It smells like wood . It could be a masculine fragrance, its very loud cedar for me. Disappointed.

Sprayed this on one arm and Santal Vanille on the other arm. Santal Vanille was initially not a good experience for me so I washed it off. Still have the Blackberry Lily on right arm and partially covered. I’m fighting nausea. Maybe it is Santal maybe it’s BlackBerry. Maybe it’s both.

Smells fruity and like blackberry but also kind of artifical to me - sometimes sort of hurts the back of my nose until it dries down. I got it in the sample set and it's alright, but wouldn't personally buy a full size.

Very fruity, I picked up the blackberry note quickly. In my opinion, it can get nauseating. I can't pinpoint what it is but I just don't like it.

Mmmm....not a fan. I love this brand, but this one was a miss for me. I think the people who especially like it are the ones who have the oil version. For instance, Emma (@perfumerism on Tiktok) really loves this, but she has the oil rollerball, and from what I understand that one is quite different from the spray. I went to sephora to try this one out because the travel size was on sale for 19 bucks. However, when I smelled it, while I got hat juicy blackcurrant and blackberry, it was soooo patchouli heavy, almost instantaneously. I don't mind patchouli if it's in the background, but it was super forward on this, which is a shame because the juicy berries smelled really good, but they were totally overpowered by the patchouli. Also, I got some sweetness, but it just felt like the sweetness from the berries, so I couldn't smell a specific caramel note which is what I was excited for. I also couldn't smell much the florals. Alas, this was not for me, but if you think you'd like something that's 50% berries and 50% patchouli, this may be good for you.
