Candied Lychee

I was sampling the three different perfumes from the Prada paradoxe line when a sephora worker came to suggest other perfumes that would be pleasing to me and I had never taken particular interest in the 7 Virtues line, but this was so intriguing from the opening spray. It's very sugary sweet, in a way that I really appreciated because it doesn't feel immature. It's more like a high-femme lesbian scent: syrupy in a way that may be too much for certain palettes but overall inoffensive and inviting. I don't perceive it as sour at all, but I see where some would call it tart. It's more tart in a flirtatious fruity way, the way biting a green-apple hi-chew feels (not bc it smells like green apple, just in tartness.) she's fun! she's delicious! she's Jenna Rink after being 30 and going back to being 13 with her new-found knowledge of taking things less seriously. If I could make a list of high-femme scents (like on letterboxd) this would be among the top 5! and with the company's dedication to sustainability I have a newfound interest in this perfume and will be looking into the 7 virtues more <3

super light, fresh, sweet scent! starts with a bright, fruity lychee and becomes more floral over time. the peony and sweetness combined really give that "candied lychee" vibe--it's like when you're peeling a lychee and in the middle of peeling, that inner skin bursts and you have to lick the juice before it gets everywhere, except much sweeter and not bitter (but still getting that floral aroma of the lychee skin). like another reviewer said, it does kind of smell like Commodity Juice, but i feel like Juice is tarter and heavier, and doesn't give LYCHEE the way this scent does--strawberry-rhubard pie filling versus a lychee fruit tea with lychee jelly. it lasts a decent amount of time, especially on clothes--i must've accidentally got some on the collar of my sweater when i was applying to my neck, because i was pleasantly surprised 2 days later when i rewore the sweater and could still smell it. i love it and think it's definitely worth a try, but it might not be versatile enough to warrant a full-sized bottle

Before my review I want to say this should be called Candied Peony, that would have been perfect! This is such a beautiful fragrance I can barely even describe how beautiful it is! If you like fresh, light florals, clean and almost slightly gourmand than buy this gem! I can understand the liking to BB Her and the like it does have a similar scent to it but this I find more fresh then Her. Maybe it’s closer to Her Burberry London Dream than the regular Her. It lasts a long time, while not being headache inducing, it’s fresh without being citrusy, it’s gourmand without being too sweet and it projects nicely while still sitting close to the skin! Perfectly balanced fragrance!!!!!

Got this as a gift from my sister for Christmas and wasn't so sure about it at first, as I'm not a huge fan of lychee generally. But this is a really nice, inoffensive, well rounded perfume. Sweet, but not cloyingly sweet, with a really nice dry down that gets more refined the longer you wear it. The lychee adds a fresh, bright note that turns into smooth, fem, powdery softness as the perfume sits on the skin. You really get the peony and amber. It's nothing super exciting, but a nice casual perfume that I think is a crowd pleaser. I wouldn't call it sexy, but it's a pretty fragrance that reminds me of garden dresses, tea parties, butterflies . Very spring-scented.

Surprisingly good scent. I was expecting something boring and generic but it is a quite pleasant scent. Reminds me of a warm sunny spring day among blooming flowers, peonies. However, it is not green or sharp. It is leaning sweet and candy-like. It is light, playful and carefree. It has some airy, fresh quality. Younger crowd may appreciate it. It brings a smile to my face every time I smell it. I would be a pleasant day scent for many occasions. I could wear it around the house, to run errands and to the office. I blind bought it, thinking that I will probably return it, but it is a keeper :) Lovely. Give it a try.

This smells so nice! To me, it smells like tart strawberries with a tiny bit of rose (but not in an old, dusty way). It is fresh but tart and sweet at the same time. I also own Burberry Her, Her Elixir, and Rave Now Women. I would say it's similar to those for sure--and if you like those, you will also like this one. I like this one the best of all of those because of the tart, candied note it has that the others don't. Perfumes don't always last long on me (despite all the hacks) but this one, surprisingly, does last 4-5 hours on my skin. Rave Now Women also lasts quite a long time for me (and days on clothing).

I love it! It’s a very pretty lychee and peony scent. The lychee is definitely very prominent, and it smells NOTHING like Kayali’s sparkling lychee for reference. Kayali’s one is juicier, sweeter, more fruity and gummy candyish. 7 virtues has a more tart lychee with a lovely peony as an anchor. I would say 7 virtues candied lychee is more sophisticated, smells more refined, and less sweet than Kayali. Although I love both! Overall a very girly and pretty lychee scent. Very pink smelling and perfect for summer time🎀💕🌸

I have grown to absolutely love this fragrance. It's a definite mood-lifter and I enjoy wearing it alone or giving it depth by layering with 7 Virtues' Santal Vanille or Blackberry Lily. Also love layering with NEST's Lychee Rose. It's fruity, juicy, playful. It lifts my spirits. There is ambery musk in the dry-down which is gorgeous especially in the colder months. 10/10 for me and I will always have Candied Lychee in my collection!

love this one. at first spray there’s a bright fruity lychee note that punches your nose. I really love lychee, you have to love lychee. as it sits the peony mostly takes over the lychee, but it sits quite sugary on my skin still. definitely not a comfy lounging around scent, but good for a day at an amusement park or walking around a beach town. there’s something about this scent that makes me want to go swimming.

This fragrance is gorgeous. The lychee and peony both present themselves equally. I bought this for the lychee note and I was not disappointed! If you are looking for a lower price point, it smells very similar to a perfume at TJ Maxx called Lychee Garden by Tru Fragrance & Beauty. On the dry down Candied Lychee goes more floral and soft, while Lychee Garden stays bright and sweet.

I really like this scent. Its very fresh sweet and clean at the same time. I think its very feminine and girly. The lychee and the peonies make the most beautiful combination.The opening is more floral but as it dries down it becomes so sweet and almost ozonic. This leaves the most stunning scent trail, it really makes for a good day time fragrance.

This should be an Absolute or Parfum Intense, it is STRONG! Very sweet and juicy, which I do love. To highlight the sweetness (just because), I layer this with Jo Malone Peony Blush Suede. And to soften it, I layer with Chloe Rosa Damascena. This is a fun perfume for layering, not that it’s needed. I do love it very much on its own.

Never thought I would like a lychee fragrance but this one I do love! It’s bright and fresh; a perfect blend for spring. Packs more of a punch than kayali sparkling lychee. Layers beautifully with other scents like Eden juicy apple. Definitely has becoming a surprising staple in my spring lineup.

This is lovely. Definitely ultrafeminine, sweet candy-like lichi which morphs into a really nice vanilla-amber base. If you are a fan of sweet fruity-florals you'll probably like this. This is a crowd pleaser, and definitely a love for me.

Lychee perfumes are always delicious. The 7 Virtue's take on the fruit is no different. A sweeter, less sour version of the note in comparison to Kayali's. Another fantastic output.

I really enjoy this perfume and I think the notes are balanced beautifully. In my opinion it's the perfect balance of sweet fruity and floral notes with both the lychee and peony being able to shine on their own, while simultaneously working together. I think that is achieved by the geranium oil which to me is the one note in the fragrance that leans away from the sweetness, but I welcome that. Following that, sometimes (if I focus on the lychee) it can dominate but I still enjoy it because I am a sucker for a good sweet sent :) The vanilla does come out eventually as a distinguishable scent, but I must say I've only been able to note it towards the later stages of the fragrances longevity on my skin - which has typically been around 7 hours (from what I have been able to observe) after the initial spray. It is a welcome note though, as I find it rounds out the scent profile rather pleasantly. Overall, I think this perfume is the perfect spring/summer sent for everyday wear (and perhaps special event wear), as I find it's both refreshing and comforting, while lasting a surprisingly long time on me personally. I must say however that while I am a fan of this fragrance, it is definitely not for everyone so if you don't typically go for quite sweet scents I would exercise caution when blind buying.

I really like this one, but it also reminds me a bit of Mon Paris which I already have and don't wear often. Must be the vanilla and peony notes. It is quite sugary sweet which is expected. But maybe too young for me. I will be in my 40s next year. The sweetest perfumes I no longer reach out for such as flowerbomb and la vie est belle, even though I bought a second bottle. So this fragrance may become a bit redundant too. A lovely scent tho! And if you are still into sugary sweet fragrances, a great one to have! update: It is very similar to Nest rose lychee however this one the sweet notes are slightly more prominent and more feminine leaning. This is best suited for spring and summer. Whereas rose lychee the rose is more prominent and unisex leaning, can be worn all year round. If you own one of them then you don't really need the other.

An unapologetically candy-sweet, bright, fruity floral fragrance. It opens with a blast of fresh, floral sweetness, much like the scent of rose but sweeter and somehow pinker . It has the smooth bounciness of a rose-flavoured gummy candy, paired with a crisp brightness like candied lemon. As it dries down, the fruity and crisp elements ebb, and the composition takes on a smooth, pressed-powder vibe. It remains sweet, but with more of a talc-like, floral focus. As a whole, Candied Lychee is girlish and playful, but with a bit of pretty, poised, perfuminess to it as well. Like a princess caught finger painting in her formal ball gown, moments before the important guests are due to begin arriving downstairs.

Sooo flirty, romantic, dreamy, and classicaly feminine. Upon first spray, the perfume smells dainty and lush: think sugared petals paired with an aquatic lychee, reminding me of watermelon jelly beans. Orange adds a nice bubbly fizz to the top, which really brightens the opening and prevents the sweetness from getting cloying. These initial notes give fizzy rose champagne or expensive shampoo vibes. The middle turns into a pretty, blush-like floral from peony, while geranium adds a touch of green, keeping everything fresh. The dry down is a lovely amber vanilla with hints of poeny. Overall, this is an invigorating, charming scent! Perfect for spring and dates!

Love~ This scent is sweet, playful, and definitely lasts quite a while. It projects really well and is a bit strong so I recommend just one spray for the whole day. As I have heard others say- it’s more of a candied rose scent but it’s not the expected powdery rose. It feels more fresh and youthful. I also notice that I liked the scent even more once I noticed how it sat on my skin and clothes after time had passed. The subtle hint of this scent is sweet and pretty. Overall I find this scent to be a bit nostalgic. It’s a sweet candy rose scent that is fairly strong with just one spritz so I would give the scent time to melt into your skin/clothes.

I bought the travel size and am slowly working my way through it. The initial spray is very sour and tart, yet, I prefer the dry down which is sweet and juicy. The scent lingers on my clothes up to the next day. My husband compliments me on this scent especially when I layer it with Oakcha - Love in Rome which is a dupe of Donna Born in Roma. I'll tuck the travel size away for now and re-introduce it in Spring and Summer 2025. 7 Virtues has been a refreshing company to the scent world. I love that they are clean, non-toxic company with a strong Corporate Social Responsibility factor. I will always support their launches! :)

This is definitely on the juicier side. It's a bright fragrance, although I wouldn't really say sparkling. This is more of a fruity lychee gummy kind of fragrance. The Peony helps balance this out and brings an airiness into it. Due to the florals, it dries into a wearable lychee for me, as I don't really like smelling girlish or candy like. It's still not something I would normally wear but I think the base has won me over, since it's an ambery floral base. I'm thinking of maybe adding this into my collection as a travel size but I don't think I would personally comitt / finish a full bottle.

Some reviewers are saying that they get strawberry and watermelon in the opening. I got pink sweet fruity candy, aquatic freshness, and a very light throw. I was hoping that this one would be more of a gourmand than a freshie. A Very Bath and Body Works body spray kind of scent. I'm glad that I didn't blind buy this one as I found it to be quite underwhelming. I have Cherry Ambition, Santal Vanille, Blackberry Lily, Amber Vanille from this line, love them all!!

A floral, fruity, sweet fragrance that you can really smell on yourself after only a few sprays. It's quite fruity upon first sniff, and the floral shines more as it dries down. I personally don't really sense the vanilla in this, which I don't really mind. I think this is a fun fragrance for a brunch with the girls, or an outing in town. It's quite similar to Burberry Her, but I would say this is a more true lychee fragrance with less of the vanilla-y drydown.

Similar to what another person said, this is very floral forward. Though I love peony...wasnt expecting it to be so dominant knowing the name of the fragrance. Its sweet though, definitely from the lychee. But its not too prominent. Was a tad bit disappointed but it smells crowd pleasing. Would recommend for fruity floral lovers. IT DOES NOT SMELL LIKE BURBERRY HER.

I was so excited to test this out and blind bought the travel size. However, it smells exactly like Tory Burch Love Relentlessly Fou De Toi, which also has the same middle and base notes of peony and resins (amber). Since Love Relentlessly FDT is discontinued, I will purchase Candied Lychee once I run out of it. But it is redundant in my collection to have both.

Very pleasant and girly scent without being too overly sweet. The opening is more fresh and bright peony, kind of shampoo-like, while the dry down becomes sweeter and you lose that freshness. The dry down is like a cross between Burberry her & Goldfield & Banks Sunset Hour

Inoffensive fruity floral, girly "pink" scent, not too sweet. Slightly reminiscent of something you'd find in a Victoria's Secret / Bath and Body Works. Blind bought a travel spray that I'm planning to use up, not sure I would fork out the cash for a full bottle though.

Very sweet on the tester at Sephora. Couldn't stop thinking about it so a week later I purchased! Very simple formula but it pays off with the sweetness and floral fruitiness. I pair this with Sangria + Saffron from Michael Malul London or Burberry Her. <3

Smells very soapy to me, I really enjoy it. Extremely, extremely peony-forward, but I don't mind at all. The lychee note is very fun too! It's a very light, feminine floral scent, perfect for spring days where you just want to feel cute and youthful.

this is such a beautiful fruity floral. i typically am not a fan of this profile but this is def full bottle worthy. it’s such a sweet girly fragrance and it slightly reminds me of delina by pdm. it almost has a sparkling aspect to it as well.

I liked it, thought it smelled nice on my skin buuuut something about it threw me off a little bit. Not sure why but it smelled oddly sweet on my skin, wish it wasn't that sweet on me.....kinda gives dry shampoo vibes...?

A lychee scent with the amber being very strong, I don't hate it but I was surprised! Most lychee scents are softer, more delicate and feminine. This is more amber-ish musky like but I enjoy it as much regardless.

some might think this is too young of a smell. it smells very girly, sweet and innocent. for someone around 15-25 or someone with a young and light personality, this would be perfect. smells like a flirty picnic

I’m obsessed with everything The 7 Virtues does. Another great addition to the line, this is exactly as titled a saccharine lychee with powdery peony. Very very similar to Burberry Her but more Lychee forward.

Gives me Sweet and Flirty! It’s like a lychee version of Burberry Her on my skin, both of which are thoroughly enjoyable albeit this does more in the longevity department with its juicyness!

This reminds me of Her from Burberry but a bit more sugary. It smells like a really nice shampoo. Its fresh and even a little watery. The epitome of a springtime perfume. 7.5/10

This is firmly a floral perfume instead of a fruity perfume. It's a peony BOMB. You better absolutely love peony otherwise turn around, this one isn't for you.

This is nice but vague. Floral but fleeting. Pleasant but underwhelming. Expensive but underperforming. Not one I’d buy a full bottle of.

Meh. This was pretty disappointing for me. I didn’t really get lychee, more just a generic fresh fruity/floral. Didn’t stand out.

Fresh, floral, rosy, fruity, tropical, bright, sweet, warm, feminine, romantic, charming, sensual, pleasant On me this opens fresh, floral, and fruity with tropical and bright lychee and the velvety and rich rose like scent of peony. As it dries down the sensual vanilla and the golden warmth of amber start to shine, and rounds out the fragrance nicely. I got a sample of this along with several others as part of my Sephora order, so of course I had to try this. It’s a pretty and pleasant scent overall, but not something that I think I’d personally use very often as I don’t usually enjoy rose and/or peony forward scents on myself. However, this is very nicely done, and I do enjoy the dry down when the van and crystal amber become more prominent. This is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy these kinds of notes. This definitely feels feminine to me, and would suit women of any age. I think this is most fitting during the spring and summer because of its floral, fresh, and tropical scent. I think it will work well for the majority of occasions including work or school because it’s a non-offensive scent. I get really good performance with Candied Lychee. The longevity is nice, it last about 6-8 hours before I feel it may need a touch up. The projection is decent, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. For some reference, I do own and love 2 of The 7 Virtues fragrances, Vanilla Woods and Coconut Sun. For further reference here’s some rose, peony, and lychee fragrances that I really enjoy... was gifted to me, LOVED it at first. the lychee + peony combination made this frag such a pretty, fresh and juicy lychee perfume. wore this for a long time, the top and heart notes are beautiful. as the name suggests, this portrays a sugared, fresh and pink lychee scent. unfortunately, i found that the fruity floral notes did not last long at all, maybe 30 minutes tops in my experience. dried down into such a powdery, sweet and cloying vanilla on my skin that reminded me of an over sweetened vanilla cupcake topped with frosting. as another mentioned in the reviews, this does give off a thick, PINK milkshake to my nose and some others. if the pretty lychee and peony combination lasted longer without the overly sweet vanilla base, i wouldve loved this more. for the longevity and sillage, the price might not be worth it!

I’m sooo sad about this. I’m generally not a fan of peony or rose heavy fragrances, but I was excited to try this because it smelled super fruity and sweet on paper. Sadly, on my skin all I get is peony. It smells very clean but it’s just not sweet enough for me. On top of that, it’s very faint and fades within 2 hours on me. I really loved this in the store, so i bought it - committing the mistake of not testing it on my skin. Committing yet another mistake, i tried it on for the first time on my day off, where i had to focus and study - this was a big mistake. It's got an enormous presence on my skin to the point i got a migraine. To me it's also much more flowery than fruity, which i hadn't seen coming from a scent named 'candied lychee'. I wanted to like it, but honestly it's kind of made me scared of florals lol, so i'll be giving it away.
