Clementine Dream

A great mandarine popsicle dreamy summer fragrance that mixens well with the skin and the sun. Sprinkled on top a little hint of real freshly squeezed Orange like the fizz that fills the air when the zest is coming loose when you break the peel of an orange that mixes with the juices that pops out from the orange. The closer you get your nose to it the more the popsicle/creamsicle or homemade candied Marmelade feeling you get. And the sweeter the overall impression also gets. Personally I really enjoy this and also that they haven’t added anything herbal or aromatic or spicy to the mix but just let it be sprudeling and innocently happy sunshine sweet mandarine feelings galore. Is it somewhat synthetic? Yes. But done in a good way if you look for orange and mandarine that doesn’t also come with vetiver or bergamote or neroli for times when you just want that simple candied orange citrusy experience. Out of all of the 7 virtues fragrances I have tried this is my favourite. To me this pulls refreshingly feminine. But I totally think men who love more stand alone citrusy notes can pull this off too. On me I get about 3-5 hours of moderate projection. But I don’t mind re-spraying this throughout the day as it is like having a little treat.

Oh this is a beautiful, playful, spring and summery scent. Very appealing to me. So much so I've bought a large bottle. Starts out strong in clementine/mandarine with some other fruity creamy undertones happening. The citrus dies off fairly soon however, maybe 15mins on me, then it evolves into a creamy vanilla with hints of the mandarin and the floral notes. I haven't really picked out the black current note, it feels blended in and more of a deeper nuance than the citrus, floral and vanilla. Its moderate in its life on my skin, settles down to a skin scent in that last couple hours. Could definately have better longevity but that initial spray is very addicting to me. I can see myself using this one up quickly to keep getting that hit of almost freshly peeled mandarine. Oh so good. Im definately checking out the middle eastern version soon. This is a scent I want always in my collection. 😍

fav orange perfume i have been looking for a good fruity perfume, and this is SO yummy. it is def clementine-y, however, if u want PURE orange, this isnt it. it has some creamy vanilla, which, is exactly my taste. it isnt a GOURMANDY orange, exactly. its a clean kind of fruity perfume. i fucking love clean vanillaish fruity perfumes, so this? my signature scent rn. it is SO good. i got the travel size right as it came out, and finsihed it 2 weeks later. i could not stop spraying and smelling myself. for christmas, i got the full size, and ever since, its been having so much wear. im halfway through. like most perfumes, it def gets better with age. the juice has been getting darker and darker, and you can smell it becoming even better. SO GOOD !

this was love at first sniff! However I bought the travel size bottle to try out first and see how much I like it before I upgrade to the full-sized bottle. As I already own aqua allegoria orange soleia which has similar vibes. I really enjoy this new release, I just wish it had more staying power on my skin. lasts about 3-4 hours max on me. Juicy and vanillac but not overly sweet and a hint of musk. update: I now own the full-sized bottle too! It arrived yesterday, so happy - I can now bring the travel sized along with me if I want to top up during the day. Very happy with my purchase!

The opening is incredible, warm and juicy citrus with a little floral. It's not soapy like some other citrus scents (ex, Never-ending Summer by Maison Margiela), but like most citrus perfumes, it has a poor longevity and the orange notes fade quickly and are basically gone by the three hour mark, leaving you with just the floral and vanilla that stick around for another 3-4 hours. The sillage is also relatively poor, It's moderate for the first hour or two but once the clementine is gone it becomes far more intimate.

Really quite nice for what it is. Opens with a bright, effusive, slightly bitter clementine zest, like you’re sniffing the peel, and then gradually mellows out to more of a creamsicle scent with a bit of, I guess, clean laundry? In general, citrus notes in perfume disappear rapidly; this one has some good longevity. I like it best layered with other perfumes, especially scents with lavender or white flower notes. On its own, Clementine Dream is not quite interesting enough, yet I’m very glad to have it.

this opens with such a beautiful burst of citrusy clementine. but not in a cleaning agent way, its in a ripened juicy clementine way with such fresh citrus. I just picked this up for this upcoming summer and I am THRILLED to wear this soon. as it dries down, you still get that clementine but its subdued and the vanilla comes out with a touch of sweetness. truly stunning, highly recommend!

I almost never get compliments on my perfumes (and that's not really why I wear perfume anyways) but I tested this out at sephora and then walked into a cafe where the barista immediately told me I smell good. So fresh and pretty, the citrus opening is addictive to me. I've kind of fallen out of love with vanilla fragrances but I love the soft vanilla dry down on this one.

To me, this definitely smells like a fresher, less creamy version of Mont Blanc signature. I love it but I love Mont Blanc signature more and I don’t feel like I need both of these in my collection because they are so similar. I do feel like if somebody is looking for a less musky version of Mont Blanc signature. This one would be perfect.

This is a very photorealistic clementine, with the white strings and peels and all on it. Plus yummy vanilla! But it doesn't necessarily smell like a cloying, overly sweet creamsicle kind of like the one from Nest (which I do like). It's actually kind of musky in my opinion and I really do like this. 8/10

Really lovely, but the citrus not does not last. Or at least be ones much more subtle. I’ve had it on for maybe 20 minutes and now is a lovely magnolia vanilla with a hint of the mandarin from the opening. Not as intensely sweet as kayali capri lemon.

This is a warm, creamsicle delight!!! I received my travel size today and I will be ordering the full size. However, the claims of extra longevity I think are misleading..... This is a full bottle worthy scent in my opinion!!!

This perfume is an ever-evolving journey. The burst of clementines at the beginning is delightful. It settles into a deliciously bewitching scent as the clementines fade away quickly. I love it alone and love it layered.

to me this scent is not very gourmand. its very citrus front, the dry down is a really nice vanilla thats not too sweet/sickly. its lowkey kinda giving creamsicle but more citrus. double thumbs up!!!

pretty bitter opening, but then... as a kid, i used to get something we called "angel's kiss" at a local café, a scoop of vanilla ice cream in fresh orange juice - exactly this.

All I get are fresh clementines. No vanilla or anything else and I love it. I layer with PHLUR Heavy Cream and smell like an orange creamsicle. 🩷

The first perfume comes to mind is The Forward by Mind Games! But that one is 5 times more expensive. Masculine leaning

Gosh I love magnolia, very gentle soapy citrus smell, like orange blossom water but tart and bright.

I ended up loving this far more than I expected. Clementine Dream is pure sunshine in a bottle: cheery, effortless, and instantly uplifting. It’s perfect for when you’re feeling whimsical and carefree, but still want a fragrance with a non-linear, sophisticated edge. It opens with an invigorating burst of honeyed, crisp clementine. It’s luminous and juicy, reminiscent of the scent released when you peel a fresh orange. There’s also a subtle hint of blackcurrant, adding some greenness, preventing the citrus from reading too simple. As it moves into the heart, the fragrance softens beautifully. The magnolia introduces a milkiness: creamy, slightly powdery, with a faint waxy-lemon nuance that melts into the citrus. The clementine loses its initial, classic sparkle and becomes smoother, more rounded..... very similar to an orange Creamsicle (probably from the vanilla). The dry down is what really surprised me. The blackcurrant becomes more prominent: a deep berry that is slightly smoky, with a soft musky, almost woody undertone. There is also a hint of vanilla and mellow clementine

I was REALLY hoping this would smell like the Dreamfloat flavor from Alani Nu (the energy drinks). Unfortunately, all of the components of this fragrance just fall flat for me. I've tried to get into The 7 Virtues, but every scent I've tried so far just doesn't quite do it for me. The ideas just don't feel fleshed out enough. Unfortunately, the citrus in Clementine Dream just isn't quite bright enough. The vanilla is just not quite creamy enough. It feels like a basic orange perfume with a warm vanilla drydown. It's not offensive by any means, but not inspired either. For the price, I simply expect more. The longevity on this is much better than the other 7 Virtues perfumes, but still not long lasting at all. You'll get about two hours. I expected a lot more from this from all of the online hype - something like an orangesicle. Just doesn't quite get there. I'd give it a 6/10. I will say this grows on me the more I wear it. I just don't think it will ever be enough for me to pull the trigger.

Clementine Dream opens with a bright, uplifting burst of juicy orange that immediately evokes the scent of peeling a fresh mandarin. It's vibrant, sweet, and incredibly fresh, with a subtle hint of vanilla lingering in the background that softens the citrus without overpowering it. I personally find that it is actually very similar to Lush's Orange shower scrub. As a fragrance, it's undeniably pleasant and easy to wear. It captures that freshly peeled citrus while maintaining a gentle sweetness that keeps it from feeling too sharp. Unfortunately, the fragrance falls short when it comes to longevity. Even with a liberal application, it became virtually undetectable after about two hours on my skin. That's disappointing for me, because while it lasts, it's genuinely delightful. As it stands, it's a lovely fragrance that leaves me wishing it stayed around a little longer.

Did I just read in the description above that this lasts for 24 hours and lingers for 72?! How?! On which planet?! In which conditions?! What drugs are they consuming to have stated this, and where can I obtain some? I was coming to write that it it’s a lovely perfume which is wafting up from my arm very nicely and has done for a couple of hours - so far the best performing 7 Virtues I’ve tried. It’s got the sharpness of citrus orange but it’s softened with the vanilla and I do really enjoy it. But 24 hours though? Absolutely not. 2.4 hours maybe. Admittedly, my skin does eat up perfumes very quickly, but I’m finding that the 7 Virtues perfumes just don’t perform well enough to justify their price, as wonderful as their ethics, ingredients and scents are.

This smells amazing . I’m starting to really like this house . When you first spray this you get hit with the scent of clementines very realistic and a bit sharp perhaps, but in the background you can detect the softer notes of magnolia and vanilla . I don’t really detect the black currant but maybe it’s adding to the fruitiness of the fragrance . At least to my nose however, the black currant note doesn’t stand out which is good . When the fragrance starts to dry down you’re left with a citrusy vanilla and soft florals from the magnolia . I can consider this slightly unisex because of the citrus notes and florals being very soft. It’s a beautiful fragrance nevertheless, very delicate and summery .

Opening is strong, sharp, masculine note that's somewhat citrusy and quickly fading. After settling on my skin, it's a soft, powdery vanilla musk with a subtle citrus note that is really quite lovely. The opening can be jarring and unexpected, especially if you thought this was going to be a "creamsicle" perfume. I would not agree with clementine being the top note or citrus being the most dominant accord. It's very subtle, much like an actual clementine, it's not a strong citrusy, in-your-face orange scent. Longevity for me once it settles on the skin is several hours. Sits close to the skin, so it's good for going into the office everyday.

A syrupy sweet take on clementine! After the initial blast, it’s actually more blackcurrants juice and vanilla than clementines. It’s really, really nice, very photorealistic scent and I might purchase a bottle since I love a heavy blackcurrant scent with some citrus for contrast and smoothed out by vanilla. My second favourite from The 7 Virtues after Coconut Sun. Worth giving a try if you’re looking for a juicy clementine/blackcurrant scent on the soft, intimate side.

A very true clementine scent. It's citrus but darkened by some of the woody, musky notes I get. A little too floral as it settles, and also reminds me too strongly of the time in my life when I bought it, so I don't think I would get it again. But it really lingers and lasts all day. It smells a little cheap and artificial on opening, but I find that's the case with most of the 7 Virtues perfumes, and this one is not at all the worst offender.

I'm someone who doesn't normally like citrus but omg this was so good. I didn't like this at first and my mistake was testing this at sephora with a paper tester. I love the brand so I ended up buying a mini set that included clementine dreams. I sprayed it and fell in love. It's has a bright clementine opening that quickly settles in the background and I'm left with a scent that gave me warmth in a beautiful way. I wish I bought a full size.

I don’t really get why but this opens kinda masculine on my skin. I do however like it. It opens with a burst of juicy clementine which then slowly fades giving space for the vanilla to shine. The vanilla is not very prominent here, it exists to hug and soften the sharpness of the citrus note and give it a sophisticated creamsicle accord. I would consider buying a full bottle. I’d give it a good 8/10

I am not a fan of true gourmand fragrances but this one is nice perhaps because there isn't much gourmand to it. I get an initial blast of orange creamsicle which is very dessert-like. It then gives way to a softer citrus musk before it becomes a slightly bitter orange scent. Overall, it's worth a try if you like citrus scents but probably skip this if you're looking for a real gourmand.

I’m not usually too picky on lasting power, but dang this really fades fast! As many others have pointed out, I can corroborate that the *stunning*, photorealistic clementine scent (it’s so childlike and nostalgic to me) lasts all about 30 minutes max. The dry down is not bad though - a soft, powdery vanilla. I just take a travel spray with me and reapply throughout the day.

Sweet but not sickly, and on my skin it actually leans more masculine than feminine. It’s citrusy, but not as fresh as I expected, it feels more like an orange or clementine dessert than a crisp citrus splash. After the first hour, a very clean and pleasant musky base comes through and lingers nicely. I like it, but it’s not really a “wow” scent for me.

An orange creamsicle with some photorealistic elements (I get the slight scent of the mist an orange skin releases while being peeled, the oil left at the oranges navel from where it was connected to the tree, the faintest hint of a solar note that makes you feel as if you are outside...). Summery, fresh, citric-sweet... pretty good!

Initially makes a huge scent bubble, lingers, then dries down. Not hugely complex. I get the fresh green clementine followed by a department store-esque magnolia and vanilla scent with a whisper of the clem in the background. It's very pleasant. Interested to see how/if this develops. Love the bottle.

I ordered a travel size without testing and my first impulse was to return it. It seemed too loud and too harsh. I gave it some time and it worked. Now it's a pretty vanilla that reminds me of Chanel Allure. P.S. Also the scent is a bit similar to Trussardi Donna and Amo Ferragamo

This is not milky creamsicle. This is straight up juicy, sweet clementines with a hint of sweet vanilla that dries down a bit powdery, which gives me the Devotion vibes. I really like it and I'm glad we are getting more diverse summer scents than the typical tropical coconut.

This smells so nice and perfect for spring and summer ! I get a tart clementine with the creaminess of the magnolia and a hint a vanilla. The vanilla is not very pronounced but it does add to the sweetness of the fragrance . It smells very pretty and feminine ! I love it !

Very interesting. Does anyone else think that the initial spray has an incense-like quality to it? Like to my nose this doesn't smell like an orange creamsicle, but like an orange cream scented incense. Then as it dries down it becomes more of a sweet powdery smell.

Orange creamsicle in a bottle! It is sweet, fresh, and realistic! I love clementine/orange/tangerine the best out of the citrus family as they are sweeter than lemon/lime/bergamot. The vanilla at the base softens the initial sharpness and adds a fluffy touch.

Leaning masculine It’s a nice scent, but pretty heavy musk and has like a “blue bottle” scent quality. I do understand the marketing now of the “this isn’t a citrus fragrance you’ve ever smelled”, it’s just a non fresh citrus.

very easy to reach for hot weather days. Just wished it lasted longer on the skin. If you are a fan of citrus, specifically orange citrus and creams, then this is definetly for you!

When i first bought it I LOVED the smell, but it wears off so quick on my skin I had to return it. Amazing scent but does not last at all.

Classic vanilla/citrus creamsicle. Nice, if a little generic and sweet. Kind of smells like a candle? Very weak longevity.

Will this be the "clean" version of Montblanc Signature? I'm curious.

This fragrance will always have a soft spot in my heart for being the catalyst to my perfume obsession but after expanding my palate its not as extraordinary as I thought it was . The opening is very pretty, a hyper-realistic clementine with the peel, juicy and a bit green before evolving into your typical white floral/vanilla fragrance with a hint of orange peel within 1-2 hours. Once you get a few hours in this starts having a BO quality which I assume is from the black currant, however for some strange reason its still enjoyable but maybe I'm weird lol. This is a 7/10 perfume that is affordable. If your a fan of black currant and clementines this is probably a safe blind buy but I would still suggest getting a sample, the 7 Virtues offers a sample set with this included and I would 100% get the set first before buying the full bottle.

I am disappointed in Clementine Dream. The initial burst of mandarin is delightful, but then it immediately dries down into... vanilla. Not even a bright, opened-up, citrus-soaked vanilla. Just... vanilla. Like a bland sort of unsalted, unbuttered mashed potatoes. It's palatable, and there might even be pleasant moments; it's hard to go wrong with a mashed potato. But it's also possible to make thoughtful, distinctive mashed potatoes (or vanilla) - and this fragrance does none of that. It's got a single piece of shredded cheddar in that burst of mandarin right at the opening, and then after that, just plain vanilla. Lasted on the sample card for about 4 hours, and about 5 on my skin.
