Jasmine Neroli

After trying a number of 7 Virtues fragrances and reading the ingredients list for each one, I have realized that they seem to be following a basic formula where they choose one single essential oil to be the main note of the fragrance and then add a variety of botanically-derived processed scents (such as coumarin, eugenol, geraniol, linalool, etc.) to add some complexity and depth and strength to the scent. So it is making a little more sense to me how all of their fragrances can be distinct from one another and yet at a core level be quite similar. I really like all of the ones that I have tried so far, enough to consider buying them. In this case, I especially do like real jasmine essential oil and this is a very nice version of it, and I think this is a scent that I would wear often if I obtain a full bottle of it. (Note that it does not smell like dryer sheets or anything artificial at all to me - this is entirely different and quite lovely.) In addition, one little spray will last for several hours for me, with the jasmine being prominent for most of that time. I wouldn't want it to be any stronger in terms of sillage, since some people object even to natural fragrances. The more I wear this one, the more I like it.

I spent a long time searching for my perfect wedding perfume, and the moment I smelled this, I knew it was it. I got a sample from Sephora, and the more I sniffed it, the more I knew this would compliment the (all vintage) silk dress, rabbit fur stole and leather gloves I wore for my winter wedding. I sprayed it on me directly on my neck and wrists, and onto my veil, and it somehow blended so beautifully with the scent of the tulle, creating a fragrant cloud that my fellow fragrancephile Maid of Honor said she couldn't stop sniffing from her spot in the ceremony :) And of course my husband said I smelled really lovely. It really does have a soft, clean, comforting, even almost a bit yummy? element to it despite being very white floral. Almost like something you would imagine a sweet, beautiful mother or a caring nurse to wear. Now I own a large bottle so that I can bring back memories of that beautiful day for both of us any time. Highly recommend as a wedding fragrance. I love that it's also a non-toxic scent, so I wear it lightly in the office without too much fear of offending noses.

I got a 7 virtues tester set from sephora. This one and the rose amber I immediately bought travel rollerballs of. I love rose and jasmine unfortunately my allergies do not. It's very rare for me to find floral scents I can actually tolerate. And both the jasmine neroli and rose amber are perfect true to life florals without being too strong or perfumey or synthetic smelling or too old lady headache inducing. I smell Janine and Neroli and I love this so much. Very clean fragrances, they remind me of perfume oils instead of eau de parfums.

This is by far my personal fav out of all the entire 7 Virtues collection. It has such a realistic natural scent of Jasmine without smelling synthetic. Absolutely gorgeous, nothing compares. All other perfumes currently on the market are either too sweet or lasting power is weak. Definitely worth to check out.

This fragrance is what I think of when someone asks for a scent representing the “coquette” aesthetic. Powdery, sweet, white floral, very girly.

I adore this fragrance but on me it has nearly no longevity.

I have the roller-ball version of this, so I don't know how different it would smell out of the bottle. I really enjoy this scent. I appreciate it's simplicity and I find that even though it is simple and made with clean ingredients -as I am discovering with all the 7 Virtues perfumes I've tried- the performance is quite good. I should probably mention I'm not a huge white-florals lover, jasmine can be challenging for me as I really don't like the headiness and it often becomes too much for me and causes headache. What I like about this is that the headiness is cut with the fresher note of neroli (I am a huge neroli fan) as well as the honeysuckle (another note I love) so the fragrance has a more clear experience rather than a fluffy/sneezy one, if that makes any sense. I think this scent is very calming, and I actually have worn it to bed a couple times and it works great for that -and I still smelled it faintly on my wrist in the morning. I said Like not Love, only because it's not super remarkable. I feel like I use it more in an aromatherapy type way. However it is a lovely scent and I'm considering it in FB form since it's one of the few perfumes that is white-floral/jasmine forward that I can really get on with!

This is a beautiful, straightforward, linear scent. I love Jasmine and I love neroli, and am really enjoying the combination. I can get past the lack of projection, but longevity is really lacking, at least in the rollerball. To increase performance, I have been layering it with Kilian Princess and it is a really lovely combination. I would still consider getting a full bottle though. Maybe the spray is more potent. Even if it isn’t, I love the fragrance and enjoy it for the brief time that i can smell it on me. Also, I like that this is a more natural line of fragrances and will definitely check out others. Edit: I will probably not be getting a full bottle of this. I still love the scent, but the longevity (or lack thereof) is a real deal-breaker for me.

This is a fresh neroli and jasmine scent and I have it in the rollerball oil version because I needed something to quickly throw in my bag. Although it is linear, I actually like that because I don't need every perfume in my collection to be super complex. The opening is a fresh neroli that dries down to a very pleasant jasmine. I will probably layer with my other jasmine-based perfumes to create my own layering combo. It's a great value for the price too. 4/5.

This is real good jasmine. BTW, I really don't get the "this perfume reminds me of" that this one is compared with. This is the proof that we should never take a guess on a blind buy compared to a perfume mentioned if you want to have an idea what a perfume might smell like. Because here, nothing resemble to this one on the list...

I think my skin (or maybe my nose) amplifies white florals, because I get a nuclear blast of jasmine / tuberose. This smells a lot like Killian Good Girl Gone Bad to me (minus the osmanthus). A great value!

Ok but hold on, cuz I accidentally sprayed this over Serge Lutens L'Orpheline and I love ittt 🤣 it feels like a cold Catholic church filled with fresh white flowers 🫨

delicious jasmine and honeysuckle but it has no projection after 2 minutes

Begins very 80's style jasmine and neroli, the jasmines then weren't very idolic to me nor were they green. Very quickly goes into a 90's floral oriental. Then before you know it she's done, no staying power. It is all a very quick journey from 80's to 90's and before you can decide you if you like it she is gone anyway. Though I refer to to it as smelling like 80's jasmine and neroli, it did turn a bit fresher before going floriental on me, and I enjoyed that phase, but that was all of 15 minutes. It became like a fresh modern take on those 80's gardenia's and jasmine's and neroli's that I remember and I had hope for it, but suddenly it deepened into a very been there, smelled that incensey floriental and then gone. If you want a jasmine and neroli floral frag, this is not it, mostly because of the poor longevity, less than an hour for me and I am someone with which floral frags get strong with my chemistry. TLDR Interesting jasmine and neroli, turning to floriental, gone in 40 minutes.

I did not expect to like this but the drydown gives me grandmillenial vibes in the best way! Jasmine scents on my skin usually turn dirty, sour & just plain headache inducing indolic. But on initial spray, this one smells like fresh jasmine sambac, clean like french luxury soap. At around 1-2 hours in, it softens to a delicate, airy white floral reminiscent of vintage dusting powder. I also get some powdery & beachy notes, but no orange blossom. All in all, it's a very polite, casual, relaxing everyday floral.

Ok, I know this is going to be useless information for anyone else but I just have to say that on the drydown of this, it smells vaguely of plum giving my Dior's Poison vibes. It doesn't smell exactly like Poison, but for some reason there's a plum scent that smells similar in both to me. very odd.

At first this was a great fragrance with a nice jasmine, but as it wears it becomes very soapy and headachy. I would definitely recommend a wear test. Great lasting power though!

I like this enough. Its a bit too powdery/mature smelling for me but if you love powdery Jasmine you might really like it. I agree with other reviewers that it smells like fancy french soap. Its a pleasant smell but not something I'd wear as a perfume

Almost straight jasmine. It makes it smell almost powdery and gives me a bit of a headache. It’s an old lady scent that kind of smells like soap. It has amazing projection/longevity though. And it smells kind of like jasmine-scented laundry.
