Lotus Pear

It was hard for me to imagine that a pear fragrance was not going to smell artificial and horrible, but this one (which has all-natural ingredients and "pirum" - pear - as the first fragrance item on the ingredients list) does indeed smell like real spiced pears and is quite lovely. I love the fragrance of peaches but do not smell any peaches at all in this fragrance (and also don't see any ingredients that would make it smell like peaches) though. Mostly I just smell pear, from start to finish, with a little cinnamon and other sweet spice, and a very little floral and maybe some citrus. It lasts for several hours on me and (with the exception of the first few seconds) smells nice that whole time. A big surprise for me. I've just worn the sample two times now, but I am thinking that I likely will get at least a roller bottle of this. Quite yummy!

Fresh and sweet pear followed by slightly powdery aquatic florals. I love the opening on this and the sweet powdery scent it leaves on my skin (not a grandma’s face powder kind of powdery thought I can see where some might pick that up if only for a second). The fresh pear note surprisingly lingers for a few hours into the wear which I personally enjoy. Geranium can be a bit iffy for me in some fragrances but works well in this blend, however longevity on my skin is moderate and wish it packed a bit more punch for the price. This is a refreshing and sweet scent that I find comforting, and a great alternative to more of the warm-leaning fruity florals in similar fragrance offerings. It doesn’t go sickly sweet in the heat and lasts quite long on clothing!

Wow! I think this is tied with Vanilla Woods as my favorite 7 Virtues scent. This opening is a burst of sweet, juicy, clean and watery fruits and florals. The pear is dominant and delicious. As it dries down, a bouquet of soft spicy notes and white flowers gently unfolds. The spicy quality makes this scent work for any season or time of day. Even though woods aren't listed in the notes, I'm picking up on something slightly woody in the dry down that grounds the fragrance and ties it all together. This is beautiful! This is what Prada Paradoxe Intense wishes it smelled like.

This is definitely giving a more shampoo-y, bubbly version of Viva la Juicy (which was my college frag) and so far I absolutely love it! I can't help but feel happy when I smell this. The longevity doesn't seem to be too great, but I have yet to really experience a frag that lasts a long time, so I don't mind. Juicy, clean, sparkling, fruity, fun! Perfect for a warm spring Friday when you're excitedly anticipating the joys and adventures of the weekend.🍐🪷🫧

Wow, this one stole my heart from the first sniff! It is a very pleasant and delicate scent, a fruity-floral which can brighten any cloudy day. I’m not a huge fan of the “girly perfumes”, but this one will definetely be my girly fragrance of this spring and summer. I only bought the roller-ball but in a few weeks i will order the big bottle for sure, i’m really in love with this masterpiece, simple but so beautiful...

I’m very surprised that this was my favorite out of the discovery set. A very fresh and juicy pear with nicely balanced flowers. The longevity is a joke though, after 2 hours I can’t tell where I had sprayed it into. I might save my sample to my Italy trip in May but it will be enough for max two days since I need to reapply it every 2 hours.

This is a soft, sweet, powdery pear. Perfect for everyday wear in the springtime. It's nothing particularly unique or jaw-dropping, but I love how comforting these kinds of sweet powdery scents are- they remind me of a hug. It's powdery in a nice way, not a "grandma" way.

7 Virtues’ Lotus Pear quickly became one of my favorites! Like another comment mentioned, this smells like juicier version of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia which I also love. It doesn’t have the most sillage or projection, which I don’t mind.

This is SO pretty but I’m so sad that it’s pretty faint. I wish it was loud and bold like Jasmine Neroli is. The Pear is really nice in this. Very nice fruity bit to it. This would be nice for Spring or Summer for an intimate event.

this perfume is the best i have ever smelled, but unfortunately the longevity is pretty weak so it should be reapplied later in the day. the notes are so gorgous and it smells soft, sweet, and clean, with mostly gardenia and pear.

This perfume captures the feeling of a warm hug and being loved. A warm cozy feminine vibe. I've worn it at my outdoor job and I still notice it after 8 hours of work, so I'm happy with the longevity.

This perfume is beautiful, I love the pear and the sweet florals. I thought it wouldn't last long but it definitely did! I am impressed. I will get a full bottle for sure.

such a light and fruity, airy perfume! smells fresh and sliiightly sweet, not overpowering at all.

The most gorgeous pear fragrance I’ve ever tried. The pear note is absolutely divine...you can actually smell the crispness of a fresh juicy Bartlett pear that has just barely ripened under the August sun. The best part? The pear note actually lasts throughout the life of the fragrance. I do get a hint of peach in the sweetness of the fragrance, but pear is definitely the star of the show. Gorgeous aquatic lotus lifts the pear and peach top notes, keeping them from leaning too syrupy sweet, lending a fresher take to traditionally more gourmand fruits. Creamy white florals of jasmine, orange blossom, and gardenia round out the fruity top notes, giving an overall airy vibe to the scent. Rose takes a backseat, giving just a hint of powderiness to the fragrance, but not in a stuffy or overly mature way. Finally, spicy geranium gives an added layer of depth to an otherwise fresh, fun, flirty spring/summer fragrance. Cannot wait to try more from The 7 Virtues. They have quickly become my favorite clean fragrance brand. I bought a FB and a rollerball of Lotus Pear and plan on purchasing Blackberry Lily next. May also get a backup of Lotus Pear because it is just THAT good.

This is really beautiful!🍐🫧🪷 Of all the fragrances from the discovery set, this one ended up being my favourite! I didn't expect that, but discovery sets have a funny way of doing that, i always end up loving the fragrances i have the least hope for. It smells very fresh and juicy from the pear note, and beautifully blended with the floral notes makes it perfect for summer! It's just a really clean and idyllic scent!🫧 When I smell this I feel like I'm sitting on a lovely tropical island on holiday, definitely buying a bottle of this for my next holiday trip! Haven't heard that many people talk about this one, it definitely needs more hype! It is also very similar to Pear Inc by JHAG. This is more floral and sweet compared to Pear Inc. If you want a more sweet version of Pear Inc, definitly get this one.

🍐🪷🍑🌅 Lotus Pear is a nice, fruity, floral sweet fragrance. It smelled nostalgic when I tested it in Sephora, but I couldn't quite place where I recognized the scent from. I bought myself the travel rollerball for a fun summer vacation scent. It wasn't until I got home and wore it for a few days that it finally hit me. This is Viva La Juicy just a little grown up. The pear is crisp and the lotus gives a subtle watery floral that dries down sweet, musky, and fruity. Overall I think it's more well-blended than Viva La Juicy, but I just can't unsmell it now. I find myself reaching for it less and less because every time I wear it, it brings me back to the middle school girls locker room. Still a very enjoyable, fruity, yummy fragrance, but a bit too nostalgic for me.

I'm not the girl who goes after typical "girly, flowery" perfumes but this one took me by surprise. It reminds me of the early 2000's, being a teenager, driving my 96 Corolla with the windows down...without a care in the world. This isn't juvenile, more like an innocence. It does resemble Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia Flora (the newest flanker) but Lotus Pear isn't as sweet (thank goodness) and the lasting power is much better. Its juicy opening stays for a few hours and it's not heady or overpoweringly floral. This is spring and happiness in a bottle. My favorite 7 Virtues that I've tried so far. My experience is very similar to other commenters. This is so pretty. The pear comes through beautifully, especially for the first two hours. This fades into a slightly marine floral scent. The marine note is subtle and doesn't come across as masculine at all, which I appreciate. The floral is subtle and powdery (in a musky way not in a vintage makeup way). I would say I got about 4 hours of wear and now it is pretty much undetectable. Even though the longevity isn't great I would still consider purchasing a full size. It would make a great office, gym, or bedtime perfume.

I initially purchased the roller ball, but will definitely be buying the bottle. It’s a lovely fruity floral with the perfect combination of sweet and soft. A springtime fragrance that doesn’t have a powdery background. Without being an exact mirror (since the fruity notes shine more than the floral), similar fragrances would be Gucci’s Flora Gorgeous Gardenia and perhaps Viva La Juicy. Picture a combination of these 2 fragrances without patchouli, caramel or vanilla being the involved. If you like either one of these comparisons, you will like The 7 Virtues’ Lotus Pear.

Omg I love this!! I love that the pear in the opening is strong and you can also smell it after it dries down because in perfumes with pear notes it dissapears so fast. It's not too floral, although the notes indicate it's all florals, it's more like a juicy fruity-sweet fragrance. It also reminds me of some kind of body mist or body care product I smelled in my childhood or in my teens but I can't quite put my finger on it. So it might also be this nostalgia factor but I'm in love. I will be getting at least a travel spray.

Probably my favourite from the discovery set. The pear is so juicy and its really well balanced with the fresh white florals and the aquatic notes. That being said, the longevity is non-existent. I sprayed it on my skin along with 2 other perfumes from the discovery set and this one vanished within the hour while the other two are still detectable. Compared to other pear fragrances I’ve tried, I prefer Pear Inc. by JHAG but I like this more than the cloying candy bomb that is Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar by Kayali

In agreement with luckypenny below, there are definitely vibes of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia and Viva La Juicy, minus the caramelly/gourmand note in VLJ and less heavy on the Gardenia from Gucci. More of a juicy pear with a hint of aquatic/watery quality coming from the lotus. If you have never smelled either of those two but love pear, you will probably like this scent. It is a lighthearted, girly, fun, slightly fruity and slightly floral fragrance for the spring and summer.

A burst of photorealistic pear at the open that dries down to mix with a very sweet peachy scent. Though it isn't listed, on me there's something a little boozy about this scent in the dry down that makes it more unisex than I was expecting. The peach in the dry down is also a bit too sweet for me, and a little artificial, compared with the lovely, delicate pear at the top, but there's still something really intriguing about this scent.

Very realistic crisp pear with watery florals. A bit more floral forward than I was wanting but very pretty. I agree this has similarities to the Viva la Juicys and the Gucci Blooms although to me this is the more upscale version. I’m really looking forward to more releases from this house. They execute fruit notes exceptionally well. I also really love the aesthetic of their bottles.

Gives me nausea at first, I don't know why. Smells like a stereotypical soap at first, super strong, waxy and quite unpleasant. But then it dries down and you get this very nice clean scent, floral and fruity at the same time. Very fresh and light. You have to give this perfume at least a good 30 minutes to judge it, because the drydown saves it. It is okay, not a favorite of mine.

Beautiful scent! I’m already a fan of English Pear & Freesia by Jo Malone so I instantly reached for this at Sephora. I’m looking for a beautiful bedtime fragrance and this might be the one, I can already see myself loving this scent after a nice shower! Update: I bought the full bottle and will be returning simply because the longevity is incredibly short...

I really love the smell of this, but sadly, the longevity is pretty weak on me. It's such a nice clean and sparkling fruity floral. It's fresh and sweet, and just makes me happy to smell. I LOVE pear notes and this is a big hit. I want to try gorgeous gardenia, hoping its similar! My friend got a free sample of it, and she really likes it, so im hopeful!

This is my current daily wear (as of 11/26/2023) and it's alright. I've used about a third of the travel size. It's slightly soapy and has a strong smell of kitchen spice. Having too much on can make me feel sick. Friends of mine are also fans of the scent. The pear wears off fairly quickly, but I like to layer this scent with NEST's vanilla perfume oil.

to me this is a slightly juicy floral and super gentle white flowers. nothing cloying or strong, this is light and easy like setting a bouquet of freshly picked daisies in a clear vase... perfect to evoke spring. stays close to the skin after an hour, and i usually like my scents to accompany me for longer but i still like this in its understated way

Got this as a free sample in a Sephora order - kindof shocked at how much I like it. Initially very fruity and floral, then pretty warm, then it kindof turns into a doctor's office/antibacterial soap smell (as others have noted). I actually kind of like that but I tend towards crisp/clean scents more than fruits or florals.

The pear, gardenia, and blossoms take center stage, offering a refreshing and delightful aroma, though somewhat lacking in uniqueness. It bears resemblance to scents like Viva La Juicy or Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia. A Bath and Body Works fragrance named Dressed in White appears to draw inspiration from these notes.

I got a rollerball of this free with another 7V purchase, I had never had any interest in trying it. It's actually quite nice, I'm pleasantly surprised! It reminds me a lot of English Pear and Freesia by Jo Malone, but a little bit fruitier. I'm glad to have it, very nice spring/summer day scent. Very feminine.

Amber-vanilla accord typical for this brand added by artificial shampoo pear. Actually it’s not bad. I’d say despite warm ambery base this perfume is quite refreshing. After first two-three hours juicy notes disappear leaving space for vanilla base that lasts for the rest of a day.

Begins as a watery, quenching pear. Fresh and clean. Then Lotus Pear sweetens into a pear with a splash of condensed milk or a pear macaroon. So yummy, creamy and sweet but not sickly, more in a creamy floral way. Maybe the gardenia comes to play at this point. Really pleasant.

This was my gym scent, it was nice but would not repurchase. It gave a juicy vibrant pear with kinda heady florals, but would still make me excited to work out. I have now switched to JHAG Pear Inc. for my new gym scent and I love that one more :)

Got this as a sample and at first I loved it, but after a few wears I notice how one of the notes in here reminds me of bathroom air freshener. I do like it, but I don't think it's worth buying in full size. Longevity is like 2 hours as well

The opening smells similar to Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, but it’s not a dupe. This isn’t nearly as well balanced to me and has a “dirty” note that my nose is picking up on. I highly recommend Gucci over this one.

So far my favorite from 7 Virtues. Fresh, juicy pear, slightly sweet scent. Fun to wear and well balanced. Very similar to Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia, indeed! I imagine wearing this during spring and summer time.

I like this way more than I expected to as I’m usually not a flowery perfume girl. It’s so pretty! I love how powdery it is, I think it pairs nicely with the fruitiness. Very much a clean girl scent.

Very sweet, like pear candy covered in granulated sugar. When I smell this I can almost taste the sugar. Great if you like sugary sweet scents, could layer well with fruity or vanilla perfumes

This is a pretty pear fragrance, a very feminine spring or summer scent. This smells very much like it could be shampoo or soap scent.

It's lovely for about 20 minutes and then it fades dramatically to a slightly spicy musk that is barely there - and then it's gone.

Lucious, yet fresh with depth & the pear really shines. Not long-lasting, unfortunately. 3 hours max for me. Decent sillage.

If you like pink gardenia by Gucci you’ll love this- a clean take on the same perfume. Their DNA is very similar.
