I just received it, so here are the actual notes from the box itself. Top Notes: Butter Tarts, Maple Taffy Middle Notes: Hickory Bacon, French Toast, Maple Syrup, Maple Cookies Base Notes: Salted Caramel, Tonka Beans, Vintage Leather, Oak Wood, Maple Whiskey Now that we've got this out of the way...HOLY SCHNITZEL THAT SMELLS SO GOOD !! This opening is a sweet, warm, buttery scent that carries REAL maple syrup's unique profile perfectly, and this is what I was looking for, not disappointed at all. After 10-15 minutes, the sweetness tones down a little bit, and I'm starting to smell a bit of the leather, the smoky note from the Hickory bacon, and some booziness from the whiskey. It remains sweet before anything else, but oh so delicious. If you love sweet, gourmand fragrances, you're probably gonna like it. Don't blind buy this thinking "oh I don't mind a little bit of sweetness", you gotta LOVE that sh*t ! $135 CAD for 50ml is a fair price to me. You get a very niche, very unique scent, and the quality is top-notch. Very nice product. Easy 5/5.

I blind bought this because I loved the gimmick and notes intrigued me and it was a complete success! On paper it smells a bit artificial but on skin it is perfection! The maple is creamy and mildly sweet, and it's got a faint whiff of campfire smoke. The bacon note doesn't smell like literal bacon, it's more of a light smouldering hickory note. It doesn't smell like food at all. It's Canadian autumn bottled, but in an actual beautiful, comforting, wearable perfume. Almost unisex, leaning a bit more feminine. I LOVE this and may need a backup bottle.

A delicious sweet, smoky, and leathery maple vanilla. As someone who struggles with leather notes, it’s not too sharp or bitter here. The maple does come off a bit artificial but the woodiness really helps to give it some depth. If you like fragrances like Maison Margiela By the Fireplace, this could be a great option for you! Even if you find the smokiness in By the Fireplace a bit too acrid like I do, it’s much smoother in Oh Canada. Has moderate sillage and lasts all day.

I was SO EXCITED for this, but I'm let down. I love Drunk Maple, so bring on the maple and leather please! The thought of adding bacon seemed too good to be true! Shipped/arrived yesterday, and the sillage is just a bummer. Too light right now. Will let settle and hope for improvement. I def get a lovely unisex maple wood, but nothing unique/interesting. And it's not heavy gourmand like Whiff of Waffle Cone. Still, I don't regret this. It's good. Just not great. I like America better, and I hope both get better sillage with resting.

a super sweet, maple-syrupy woody gourmand. the leather and bacon notes add depth to the woodiness, and there's a distinct maple syrup scent, to the point that it smells like you dumped a bottle of it on yourself. you have to REALLY like gourmands to like this
