Orange Blossom

I always loved orange blossom scents and was recently craving one while traveling, and found this gem. It is by far one of my favs. Had Jo Malone and TF Neroli Portofino but my favorite still remains the cheapie Nerolie Facetie, composed by Fabrice Pellegrine as it is at once powdery, floral and juicy and gentle. This one by 7-Virtues is a close second. Compared to Nerolie Facetie, it is sharper and more citrusy. You could also detect a difference in the orange blossom used. The Afghani one here seems more honeyed and fruity. When I wear this perfume, I think of summer nights under the stars and orange trees in my backyard in California. I am a big orange blossom fan and tend to wear it all seasons, night and day ;) Longevity is fine for me about 3-4 hours and sillage is moderate. However, it is made with real and ethical ingredients, without phthalates, parabens or chemicals known to affect one's hormones. As such, I prefer a slightly fleeting scent rather than those with known harms to humans and their progenies.

If you like orange blossoms, then this the perfect fragrance for you. The most authentic orange blossom perfume I have ever smelled. Beautiful composition and inoffensive, which speaks to the quality of the oils used in this fragrance.

A fun exciting spring/summer day time scent. A huge burst of fresh oranges and florals.

I've now smelled all of the current 7 Virtues fragrances and have liked all of them, including this one. Not having any synthetics in them is the key for me, it seems. However, compared to most of the other 7 Virtues fragrances, this one seems to be somewhat less complex with less-solid base notes, and therefore consists mostly of some very pretty white florals and maybe some citrus fruit which is nice while it lasts but fades away quite quickly. After just two hours, I can hardly smell it at all, even when I put my nose right against my wrist. I still think it's a very pleasant scent and that it lasts as long as many other all-botanical scents that I have tried, but 7 Virtues does seem to be doing better with some their other scents. This one looks like it may be being discontinued and I don't feel any overwhelming desire to pick up a bottle before it goes permanently away. But I do still like it.

I usually dont love neroli/orange blossom scents but this one is very honeyed and sweet with a slight green back. Very close, I'd even be as bold to say DUPE of TF Neroli Portofino! Great in summertime, the Afghanistan orange blossom (which fyi travels the most dangerous road in the world to get to our high street stores) smells so sweet and honeyed, fresh and authentic, lovely. Layer it with Ellis Brooklyn West and it's a citrusy gorgeous orange blossom that lasts foreverrr and a day. Gorgeous, and even more sweet in my mind since I got a fb in box for $13 (ty, Poshmark!)since it's been recently dc'd! I usually am a straight up gourmand head who doesn't really deviate but this is really nice. I like pairing this with Kyse Glace a la Fleur d'Orange body lotion

Beautiful scent, reminds me of visiting old churches in Mexico lined with orange trees in bloom. Orange blossom/neroli will always be a favourite of mine, so I was very sad to see this was discontinued! Worked really well with my body chemistry, the only downside of note is the longevity isn't great. Currently layering it with a vanilla scent to stretch it out, and it turns into a homespun relative of Libre. If anyone has alternative orange blossom recs once I run out of this bottle I'm all ears!

This one is nice but not my favorite orange blossom scent. That honor would probably go to JM Orange Blossom for a straight-up orange blossom scent, or Ormonde Jayne Levant for best all around. Nevertheless, 7 Virtues Orange Blossom is fresh, pleasant and inoffensive. Probably better suited for warmer weather, as it is very light (at least on me).

This is nice and when this fragrance came out, I was obsessed. Since then, my tastes have changed and I think that this is a little too green and dry to my taste. I think this particular one is discontinued but honestly, there are much better orange blossoms fragrances out there.

This starts with a massive blast of a sort of dry dirt dust floral which rapidly evolves into a primarily sweet orange/orange blossom scent, still with a strangeness to it that is hard to describe. Once dried down it is a lovely scent but it goes to a skin scent in about and hour and barely detectable a few hours later. Not worth the cost for that sort of performance, though it seems other didn't have this issue. Most mainstream commercial citrus goes sharp on my skin, but none of the 7 Virtues scents in the sample set have done that.

I love orange blossom and neroli but I have to be so careful with white florals. Unfortunately this is a little too strong for me and my husband says it smells like old lady. I do really enjoy their Jasmine Neroli, Rose Amber, and Santal Vanille scents.

Citrusy white florals, and yes to orange blossom. It is fairly bright and light, and fades to nothingness in less than an hour.

The 7 Virtues fragrances are one of my favorites. Orange Blossom is my least favorite. It was a blind buy and I thought it would smell like oranges. I've owned orange ESSENTIAL oils that pack more of an orange punch. This fragrance really comes off pretty "one note" and missing a little more va-va voom! I caught it on sale so I'll probably keep it and layer it with other fragrances with vanilla profiles. UPDATE! I had to return this one. I could not tolerate it. I couldn't help it along by layering it with other lotions and oils. I refuse to hang on to fragrances that don't work with my body chemistry.

When I was a little older than a toddler my parents bought me Orange Blossom. She was a doll, and more notably one of Strawberry Shortcake's best friends from the cartoon series. When you squeezed her belly she shot out fragrant breath ...like orange blossoms. I mention this to say that my preference for this fragrance, may be biased due to this early acute scent memory. I immediately found it beautiful, and comforting. It stood out from all of the samples in the Peace Set, and it felt a little piece of magic for me, as a person who isn't especially sentimental. That said It's a clean fragrance and a great value because I've had my bottle for a little more than 2 summers, well used, and barely 1/4th of a dent. It's fresh without being too sweet. I only need a few sprays in the morning and on me, it lasts all day. I put it down for a bit and rediscovered it for myself after switching it up with another scent. I bought a sample of Tuberose by LeLabo. I learned that when I pair 7 virtues orange blossom with a jasmine oil (Moon Goddess by Kate's magic) the result is exactly the same to me, I saved $220.00 and am enjoying the layering combo. Very similar to Neroli Portofino from Tom Ford the only difference is -the price,this one is much more cheaper. If you like TF give this one a try. Nice summer perfume with a strong neroli note.
