Strawberry Jam

This one took a turn for the better for me! On initial spray I was so confused because I didn’t smell strawberry- just something sort of dense, almost musty and gritty. I reread the notes and thought...no, that’s not pistachio. But yes, after further wear tests, it is indeed pistachio! And I think that however you interpret pistachio scents/flavors may be important for understanding or enjoying this fragrance... This is NOT the pistachio you get in a lot of pistachio flavored foods- think muffins, Starbucks pistachio syrup, etc. These foods are flavored with almond extract (sometimes maybe pistachio paste AND almond extract, but almond is what you’re tasting for the most part). It’s the same thing you’re getting in fragrances like Kayali’s Yum Pistachio Gelato and Sand + Fog’s Pistachio Dream. The pistachio in Strawberry Jam is REAL roasted pistachio- nutty, earthy, slightly herbaceous, creamy, crunchy, dense, & savory. Once I realized this, I was able to fully grasp what was going on. It really brings the strawberry back to nature, but in a warm, cooked down, freshly picked strawberries for homemade jam type of way- not in a dewy, cold, fresh strawberry type of way. I’ve since become addicted to wearing this and smelling it gives me so much joy! I’m surprised that a lot of people don’t get the pistachio, because it stands out and lasts through the whole wear for me. I also agree with the references to the Strawberry Shortcake doll. It’s not *exactly* there, but close. And I love it!❤️🍓🍰 Anyways, sorry for saying pistachio so many times. Pistachio.

Finally - a strawberry fragrance that smells good! I have been waiting so long and disappointed by so many other releases and reviews. (Honestly any influencer that recommends Burberry Her for this purpose needs the electric chair.) I'm a Gen X who loved the smell of Strawberry Shortcake dolls. This fragrance captures that essence in the best way (soft strawberry, minus the plastic). It's very wearable at any age, not overly juvenile like I was afraid it would be. Is it similar to Yum Boujie? Absolutely. But I find the Kayali version a touch more of that synthetic smell (and it's a bit sweeter). Yeah, it might be redundant to own both, but I like having options. Sometimes I will wear both, one on each wrist. If I had to pick out of the two - Strawberry Jam would be my choice. An important note - both fragrances quickly moved to the top of my most complimented fragrances, ever. (And I have an extensive collection of fragrances from niche to designer, so take that as you will) My only con about this fragrance is it lasts about as long as I can run on a treadmill. I keep a travel spray in my purse for this reason.

Omg I loveeee this! A cartoon strawberry 🍓 with lashes in a pink tutu is exactly what this smells like. The personification of girly and fruity. A wayyy wayyyyy better blended, more mature version of bbw Strawberry pound cake (but honestly SO much better than SPC) and then it gets fluffy and slightly more reminiscent to ybm { with no coconut -yay!!} after drydown. I find it most similar to Burberry Her og but much more strawberry forward. Its so pretty! Longevity is not great but not terrible either ngl so spring for a purse travel too if possible to reapply on the go. If YBM was too much and just too juvenile for you, try this. Edit: damn I really really love this guys, rivaling Burberry Her og and Fraagola Saalaata as my #1 strawberries of all time and i dont say that lightly! There are three big strawberry-forward scents available right now— Phlur Strawberry Letter, Nest Santa Barbara Strawberry, and this one, 7 Virtues Strawberry Jam. This is one is by far my favorite. It leads with a juicy photorealistic strawberry vibe, then pulls in some musk, and then settles into a sweet strawberry marshmallow. The kicker here is that I am NOT a gourmand girly, but this one still works for me. It reminds me of Burberry Her, but Her was tooth-achingly sweet for me and gave me a headache, while Strawberry Jam was just delicious. Definitely got that Strawberry Shortcake doll nostalgia that others have mentioned. I’m going to try layering it with Santa Barbara Strawberry on days when I want strawberry that’s a little less sweet. And I’m also excited to try layering it with some vanillas. Definitely going to pick up a full bottle.

So I tried YBM by Kayali when it came out because i wanted a sweet strawberry fragrance but YBM gave me a terrible headache. So when this came out and I tried it I really liked it because it is similar and doesn't give me a headache. On my skin I really do get a true Strawberries and Cream fragrance, I only barely smell the pistachio which gives it a more bakery hint and it smells like the marshmallow is near by but not in the Strawberries and cream. If you are intrigued by either YBM or this i recommend spraying both on your skin as the strawberry note in each seem to get mixed reviews of smelling fake on people's skin and yours may affect it. My only disappointment is that this doesn't stay strong as long as YBM, but im fine with respraying after 5 hours and my partner claims he can still smell it, it is just light.

I love this. The berry notes are so amazing....Its soft, tender, delicious Srawberry with sweet cream.The opening is like being in a ice cream shop on a hot summer day and someone is heating up a berry syrup sauce.. Wait about 10 mins and it mellows into a delectable perfect jammy fresh red berry cloud. Dry down is like a just baked strawberry pie on the front porch...sparkingly summer lake behind it. Its honest and doesn't try to be something its not. Its cute, fun and uplifting creamy strawberry shortcake vibes. One of my all time favorites and im not a huge fan of vanilla or sugar smells but this one is so easy to wear and relaxing.🍓 🍰 🍓 🍰 its not cloying and the dry down is delectable. Lasts 4 hours is my only complaint. I got this before I tried YBM. I see the similarities. I prefer this one to the Kayali YBM.

“Strawberry Jam” but the notes are pistachio, strawberry, marshmallow , and vanilla? Does that sound like the makings of strawberry jam to anyone? Edit:Ok, the review right above me confirms what I was afraid was true. I LOVE YBM dna, but I already own it along with 5 of its dupes and I don’t need any more of that dna. Edit 2: LOL! I bought a travel size cause curiosity got the best of me. It’s shipping to me, now. Edit 3: EEYUUUP....it’s more YBM dna. That’s fine, I didn’t have a YBM travel spray so I can use this on the go, but The 7 Virtues got really lazy and lacked any type of creativity with this one. Not only is it not a strawberry jam, it’sjust another iteration of YBM. Actually on dry down it smells like a B&BW Strawberry Poundcake & YBM hybrid. Again, I love YBM dna, but enough!

LOVE this! On my skin this starts as strawberry and marshmallows, delicious at first sniff! Yes, it did made me think of my Strawberry Shortcake doll! Then it changes once it settles. It started smelling a bit like strawberry cheesecake? I know that sounds strange for a perfume, but l adore it! It stays nice and sweet. It's really more like strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting in the drydown for me. I've owned Yum Boujee Marshmallow, but I definitely prefer Strawberry Jam! The strawberry is much more prominent. That being said, I don't think it smells like jam necessarily. I also don't get any pistachio, which I don't mind. I get moderate projection with excellent longevity. It lasts all day, but it stays close to the skin as the day goes on. 🍓🍰🧁

Don’t try this on paper. I don’t know what weird Canadian sorcery they whipped up with this one, but you NEED to smell it on skin before you judge it. On paper it’s nothing special. The strawberry is a little pointy and overwhelming with little to balance it. On skin though, a creaminess shows up that cuts down on the sharp fruit, and the pistachio comes in a lot more to keep it from going too saccharine. Overall, this is what I was hoping Yum Boujee Marshmallow would be. Where YBM is a vaguely whipped cream floral with some strawberry in the back, Strawberry Jam is a tangy, fresh jar of actual strawberry jam with some marshmallowy sweetness holding it up. It’s similar, yes, but if you wanted more strawberry in YBM, this is probably what you want.

A very deep, rich, sugary strawberry. Slightly artificial or synthetic, but I've smelled much worse. Though I'm seeing a lot of comparison to Kayali's Yum Boujee Marshmallow, and I have to disagree. Where Yum Boujee Marshmallow is a strong marshmallow scent with an air of something strawberry lingering nearby, Strawberry Jam is a fresh strawberry frosted in a thin, light coat of marshmallow fluff and dipped in brown sugar. (What I'm saying is the strawberry outweighs the marshmallow here.) I fell in love at first sniff, and so far I've yet to be disappointed by any of the 7 Virtues scents I've sampled. I might love this even more than Yum Boujee Marshmallow!

The best Strawberry presentation in a fragrance I've smelled so far. I want the tartness, freshness and sweetness to be there and this is exactly what I wanted. Lots of people mentioning it smells like YBM and that may be true for some but on my skin YBM smelled more sugary and marshmellowy whereas this fragrance mostly projects strawberry with a creamy base. So far I'm shocked how well it projects and while YBM lasted about an hour on me, this has lasted 3 hrs so far without fading and I've been warm and sweating and running around. Gonna have fun layering this. I think a fall, winter scent, solely because this is beast mode in the heat.

As someone who HATES YBM, other 7 virtues gourmond/vanilla scents, Burberry Her, and BBW strawberry pound cake, I am IN LOVE with this scent. It's exactly what I wanted from every other strawberry/marshmellow/vanilla scent that failed to deliver. It's a warm marshmellow scent mixed with a refined wearable version of Strawberry Shortcake scented toys/movies. Playful, fruity, and warm without being cloying. The dry down gives a delicious warm caramel scent. Does not smell like Burberry elixir in the slightest on my skin, but there is some Burberry Her in the opening. Pistachio is barely even detectable and mixes with the scent very well.

where YBM is a powdery, soft marshmallow, this is a photorealistic strawberry chupa chups lollipop that dries down to a lovely vanilla with quite some lasting time. i worried that to others it could come off as sweet sweat sometimes, but you know what? i kept sniffing my wrist again and again today because i just loved this on myself and found it an instant mood-brightener. if you're a bit more stingy with spraying it on yourself than i was this morning, then i dont think it would be overpowering or cloying for others around either.

I think this is really nice. Not overly complicated and not particularly sophisticated, but it's fun. I don't think anyone can really expect a masterpiece from this brand, after all. I can see the Yum Boujee Marshmallow comparison, but I don't think it's nearly as sweet as YBM. I bought a travel size and will give it a good wear test, but so far so good. Instead of trying to find faults and make further comparisons to other fragrances, I'm just going to enjoy it. Don't overthink it. It's exactly what the notes say it is.🍓💕

My oh my this is beautiful. I was worried this was going to be too cloying for warmer weather but is actually perfect. Strawberry Jam has the same vibe a Happy Dust. It’s airy with a hint of sweetness. I blind bought a full bottle yesterday and wore the fragrance to work and was told a total of 3 times that I smell good. Strawberry Jam is affordable( for my budget) and has clean ingredients/ process, and cute artwork on the bottles so I have no issues keeping this on hand at all times.

This fragrance was birthed by Strawberry shortcake herself!! It’s exactly what the name says strawberry jam but also a hint of marshmallow. It’s soooo deliciously good. One of my all time favorite perfumes are the Burberry Her line and this is in the same family, like distant cousins. Longevity and projection also match the Her line too tbh, I will not be getting the bottle just because I do prefer Her Elixir and I don’t think 2 are needed in my collection. But this is yummyyyyy

To me it's older sister of BBW strawberry pound cake, it's beautiful, realistic sweet strawberries. It also has something from Kayali YBM and pairing these two been so good! Really like this one, I couldn't want for the launch in UK and since I got it, I can't stop spraying, lovely scent, quite long lasting 6-7h on the skin, the dry down is also very pretty altough it's more vanilla to my nose with faint strawberry. Over all I think it is good fragrance, I'm happy to have it.

This really does smell like sweet strawberry jam!! I love this perfume house so far. I'm usually let down by strawberry fragrances because they're too juvenile or overbearing but Ilike this one. I don't get much pistachio but that's okay. It smells like sticky syrupy red jam but not too cloying imo. This could be layered with Yum Boujee Marshmallow from Kayali or Strawberry Pound Cake from B&BW pretty well as they smell similar. 8/10

I own both YBM and this and this is just better! More complex, more strawberry tart, just addictive. Yes, sweet, but like overripe fruit, dries down to gentler strawberry vanilla. I smell zero pistscio. Really long lasting, more than other 7 virtues perfumes aside from Cherry ambition. High quality packaging. Layers beautifully with Buttercream haze. Currently my favourite fragrance. I get asked about it every time.

This is everything I had hoped it would be. It's sweet and fruity in an almost synthetic way, and reminds me of strawberry lip gloss from my childhood. There's also a touch of creaminess. I doused myself in it after purchasing, and while I didn't notice it on myself after a few hours I did get compliments from others!! I don't find it as long lasting as their Cherry Ambition EDP though.
