British Rose

I've been using this EDT close to two years now, and am on my second bottle. This is the perfect rose soliflore for me as it is not powdery. I find the scent uplifting. It sits close to the skin. If you're like me, - thinking fragrances as something to be "discovered" on someone - you will be able to appreciate an EDT such as this one. Not very long lasting, no monstrous sillage - making it suitable for day-to-day living. My significant other loves this on me. P. S. I also have another perfume from TBS (Fijian Water Lotus, has a rose middle note but not primarily rose-smelling) that is more suitable for work and formal occasions because it has better longevity and sillage. UPDATE 27 JULY 2019: Today morning I sprayed the EDT around my neck/decolletage area very generously. About seven hours later, I could still catch whiffs of the scent emanating from said area. Plus, I found that the citrus note of this EDT made my mouth water! I think it's a mandarin note!

What a beautiful surprise! I have been on the hunt for a fresh, clean and pretty rose perfume and what a struggle it has been. Everything I had tried was too sweet, powdery or heavy. And most rose perfumes seem to turn sour on my skin. So it has been tough! The only one that I have been reasonably happy with is Florabotanica but that is even sometimes too much. I had given up but this caught my and eye and gave it a test without expecting much. I was taken back by how fresh and realistic it was. A bit green but that's the way I like it. Prevents it from becoming sickly I find. I didn't want to get my hopes up so I let it settle to see if the usual sourness appeared. But no it remained a clean and pretty. Perfect for year round use, any time of the day. Just like a breeze carrying the scent of beautiful fresh roses. In the dry down I detect hints of Coco Mademoiselle. Such a delightful find!

THIS is what a rose perfume should smell like, it's very pretty, subtle, extremely natural smelling (not at all synthetic like so many I have tried so hard to find in a rose fragrance). It is lovely on its own but can so easily be layered with a multitude of scents since it is so natural and "quiet" with a very flirty sexiness to it. LOVE it and I'm not even a big floral scent person but with it being a TRUE rose aroma, it's really quite gorgeous! Just a personal note/opinion: I'm not much of a lavender fan and I know many love to spritz their pillows with it to achieve a relaxing, calming feel. This is a beautiful substitute for me (and others who may not like lavender too much). It gives off such a pleasant, enticing and definitely a candlelight mood setting environment, for the perfect added touch of a sensual setting. ☺

TBS British Rose EDT is a very light and airy scent. It is for those who like skin scents because it sits close to the body. Those who like roses will surely like it, and those who don't like roses will also like it because it is not that strong, sweet, heady rose. It is a light, fresh rose scent. It reminds me of freshly cut roses with the morning dew droplets still on the petals. Because it is so light, you could wear it to school, college, office, and any closed spaces without annoying those next to you. I have gotten so many compliments on this fragrance, mostly from those who are not a fan of rose fragrances. When I tell them it is a rose perfume, they are always taken aback! Those who come close to you will surely get a whiff of the fresh green rose.

A beautiful fresh, wet, musc rose, it's delicious, bright, and on the same trajectory of Paul Smith "Rose", Diptique "Eau Rose" and Juliette Has a Gun "Lady Vengeance". If you adore pillows of fresh sparkling musc roses, this is a real gem - it's just gorgeous. When you use the really thick almost solid body butter in the same British Rose range, then follow with the British Rose perfume, this will last for at least 5 hours. I've used the British Rose body butter as a base for Frederic Malle "Portrait of A Lady", Delina Exclusive by PDM and Diptique "Eau Rose" - it is the perfect carrier for these as well, the rose becomes even more intoxicating and sumptuous.
