Coconut Perfume Oil

Sweet and tasty :) Perfect in cold weather!

I was lucky to find this little treasure through a private seller. Oh how I miss these Body Shop perfume oils. Coconut smells exactly how I remember it; sweet, mildly creamy coconut with a vague floral backdrop and woody undertones. It's perfect for summer! I love the cute, simple scent on its own and will play with layering, too. Projects softly, lasts over 24 hours. I always thought these Body Shop perfume oils were a steal and now I remember why. Quality wasn't lacking and the oil form in 15 mL packs a decent punch. I wish I had collected them back when they were still available. My dear friend wore TBS Coconut perfume oil in high school. It was her signature. This scent transports me right back to those treasured times. Tragically, she passed away at age 24. I later gave my daughter her middle name in honor of our friendship, and now I have this little fragrance to further remember her by. ❤️ Edit: Just for fun I checked the batch code on my bottle. It's 16 years old, from 2004! I couldn't believe my eyes because it doesn't have a hint of sharp, bitter funk that some cheaper oils get over time. These were very inexpensive at the time, but they clearly weren't using sloppy ingredients. I adore the Body Shop for that. My only wish for them now is to relaunch their amazing perfume oil line.

Super sweet coconut oil, like wearing dessicated coconut with vanilla. I think this is discontinued now, but it made me smell like a dessert as a teenager!

smells very "cute" and summery when mixed with the strawberry. But i Like the coconut on its own too. Yummy n beachy!

I love coconut....& I used to mix a french coconut scent with other fragrances to create new ones with that tropical island feel. If I'd known that the only thing in the UK I'd be able to replace it with was this synthetic dust from the Body Shop, I wouldn't have been so liberal in my application! I even think it may have changed since the last time I had misfortune to test it...& not in a good way. I would love to find a good true coconut scent again....still searching!
