I wasn't sure whether to buy this or not as I find the smell of The Body Shop's Coconut Body Butter very synthetic and unappealing. However, i love their Coconut Beautifying Oil, and based on the good reviews here, decided to blind-buy the EDT as it was on offer. I usually prefer more complex fragrances, except at the height of the summer. I thought this would be perfect for summertime but having tried it now, would say it suits this time of year too (it's freezing cold where I live). This coconut smells as I'd hoped it would and is very similar to the beautifying oil, so they'll layer very well. It's rich, sweet and creamy, which is just how I like coconut scents to smell. It also has some depth and warmth to it and I honestly think this EDT is an excellent all-year-round choice for coconut lovers. This has a boozy quality, that makes me think of a coconut liqueur. Lasting power is decent too.

This fragrance is one of my faves for sure. I love that it has just one fragrance note in it ,and it’s exactly what I wanted ,a coconut fragrance with coconut only. I am so sad that this is now being discontinued. I will never understand throughout my journey here on earth, why the best of the best always seem to be the ones to get discontinued. I am grateful that they will still be carrying the body mist. This sticks very well on me out of all the fragrances from The Body Shop. It is such a dreamy and creamy coconut. This uplifts my mood right away, it instantly takes me away and transports me into a beachy cabana . The price point is very affordable for such a great and lovely fragrance. Definitely love this one. If you are a fan of Coconuts this one is definitely for you. Sillage is good, and this lasts a good 4-6 hours on myself. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

The first few minutes it has kind of a synthetic smell, but it's very very light and it isn't noticeable but it dies down very fast and the true scent comes out. This smells like true coconut. Even a teacher of mine complimented me on it and said it smells like sweet coconut, almost like cookies. The dry down has a vanilla hint to it but it still has that sweet coconut mixed in. This isn't a super strong scent but a little can go a long way. It's good for people who want a perfume but have sensitivities to certain scents. The lasting time is about 4-6 hours on my skin and it definitely can radiate out so others will smell it, hence why I said a little can go a long way. I use the coconut body butter on my pulse points and then I spray the perfume in the same spots. It's probably gonna become my signature scent. Also, the brand doesn't test on animals so a big plus!

As half of Earth’s population, I do love the scent of sweet coconut and of course do identify it at one hundred percent rate with summer, sun and sea. My first contact with coconut was naturally through The Body shop branches, like oil and body butter at first and further as a fragrance. If I do not have any coconut scent around, I believe I have no collection. And most importantly, as of it, I do have wonderful memories and recollection of my holidays. I enjoyed sharing it with my sister and finishing together a lot of coconut oils and body butters. Just wonderful and beloved, just like Tosca!

I have the body mist TBS coconut Real coconut scent, creammy yummy , sadly poor longevity but it can improve a little wearing also coconut body lotion . I use it only for summer which also improve a little the duration on my skin. Wearing it I feel smooth and exotic and cozy. (What a mix!) So perhaps the EDT it's a good choice for some one that find it a bit overwhelming. Ah and it got nothing to do with cocconut passion (that is mostly vainilla) another favorite of mine, that I also owned and use daily. I read that some here said it is strong like Shalimar, really ? So I have to try it

I just got this in the body mist. A nice authentic coconut scent. It smells like a true fleshy coconut, raw and unprocessed and the best part is there's no foul alcohol blast or any synthetic harshness. It also smells like there is Shea in this too. Very organic and 'nutty' smelling. There is a touch of sweetness in this due to the sugar cane extract, but it's definitely not overwhelmingly sweet. It's natural and perfect. I love coconut fragrances and this is one of the best true coconut scents. It's very smooth. The best part is its so affordable. Highly recommend!

I had seriously forgotten how much I love this little beauty. A wonderful sweet, milky coconut scent, rich and warm and just incredibly edible and inclined to make me want to sniff myself all day. Not at all sickly, like some gourmands, but simply delicious. Perhaps with some unlisted vanilla. And a huge compliment getter. Perfect hot weather perfume, alone or layered with Pink Grapefruit. Doesn't last all that well on the skin, but spray it on the top of your dress/blouse and hair and you'll be in coconut heaven all day.

A clean, creamy, sunscreen-y coconut that's not too sweet. On my skin it morphs a little towards vanilla after a while but the coconut is still definitely there. On hair/clothes it doesn't change scent profile at all. Very nostalgic, it reminds me of perfumes from my childhood in the early 00s. It's not overpowering which is nice especially for hot weather, but that also means it doesn't last very long. Overall though I love it!

I have never been a coconut fan. There's something artificial about coconut fragrances. I think that BBW and Victoria' Secret tarnished my view of coconut. BUT, I happened upon this and it is the BEST coconut fragrance I've ever smelt. Milky, creamy, and soft. Not pungent and tart like coconut fragrances tend to be. I bought the milk lotion and I love to layer it with my vanilla, caramel, or amber fragrances. Just heavenly.

It’s coconut 🥰😍what more can I say!? I looove it!!! Perfect sweet coconut smell ✨it is good for layering, all coconut lovers must have that one or the body mist at least! I have both and use them together for better performance it is a safe blind buy because it is just that one note but don’t expect a strong coconut smell

This is a lovely scent, a beautiful warm, creamy coconut, it lasts a very long time on my skin, I tested it at 2pm and could still smell it when I went to bed at 12! I could smell it on myself all day without having to specifically smell my wrists. Very yummy, will be purchasing soon :) [Now own it :) ]

Pure coconut candy, it's one of my all time favorite Coconut perfumes because it's simply that, perfect for layering in my opinion when you wanna make some perfume more tropical, smells like vacation to me. It might be too sweet for most people. Simple frangance but a classic!

Very sweet and comforting scent, you can definitely smell a strong coconut but also some vanilla, it doesn't last too long on me maybe around 2-3 hours, but I think it is good for layering with another perfume, I wouldn't use it as my main one. Besides that, I adore the scent.

This is very nice, but way more like coconut shampoo/conditioner, than like a beachy cocktail, suntan lotion or real sweetened baking coconut. I would purchase it to provide contrast in my quickly growing collection of coconut scents.

I love coconut perfumes and this has to be my favourite, it's a clean, sweet and pure coconut scent, but I'm kinda dissatisfied the only available concentration is a body mist since they discontinued the edt

I really like this because it’s smells so good wish they would bring it back in the edt they only have it in the body spray now which is the same but I liked the edt

It has a very sweet sugary coconut scent. I wear it with the hair, body and face dry oil. It is long lasting and people seem to like it.

Smells like toasted coconut topped with brown sugar. Creamy and comforting.

After being tired of the many accumulated coconut themed fragrances in my current and past collections,i recieved this in my stocking. It is sweet and has a suntan lotion coconut vibe. I like this kind. I use virgin unrefined coconut oil for my hair,as a makeup remover and (on occasion my entire body). The reason why i don't use it daily is because the scent of all-natural-virgin-unrefined coconut oil smells of greasy,oily and unwashed hair to me. If anything i don't want my coconut fragrances being too "natural" or linear even in the coconut water sense because that is quite bland. The hardened coconut flesh that can be found in the hairy eyed coconuts is more this perfumes speed,which i prefer over the juicy coconut. This is much better than the discontinued BBW Coconut from 2005-2006 which smelled like someone is in the room with major swamp ass issues to me due to the added chocolate and vanilla. Although BBW's Exotic Coconut was more like the fresh fleshy coconut which i love.

I have fond memories of The Body Shop coconut lip balm from my childhood, so I recently bought the lip balm, and it smells just as incredible as back then. It doesn't smell like coconut milk – just a freshly cut open creamy coconut. It is truly my favourite coconut scent ever, and I wish I could wear it in a perfume. That's why I decided to try this Coconut mist from The Body Shop. To my disappointment, the body mist is slightly different, but it's still good! This one is sweeter for sure, which makes it smell less like natural coconut, and a tad bit more on the lactonic side. Surprisingly, the sillage of this is very good even though it's a body mist! It lasts on the skin for around 3,5 hours. I've seen some old bottles of the EdT that is listed here in Fragrantica sold online for cheap, so I'm considering trying one and seeing if it's any better or different than the mist sold nowadays.

This is just a straightforward, creamy coconut! It smells like the actual meat of the coconut in the opening, then proceeds to melt into what feels like a tropical resort soap 🏖 It's not necessarily high quality smelling, but it doesn't smell cheap or tacky either. It's just right, especially for the price. I must've smelled a lot of things like this in Florida, because it's reminding me of Disney World. Or, maybe it's that the coconut here is a familiar element of many sunblocks. The "body milk" and "shower cream" are lovely. I really do like this a lot, it hits the target when you feel like an uncomplicated coconut without vanilla or anything else 🥥 🌴

For me, it is truly the smell of summer. It is a pretty straightforward coconut, quite sweet and sunscreeny. Feels youthful and energetic. If you're looking for something more complex, deep, nutty, and less sweet, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you're looking for a light, uplifting summer fragrance, this is a nice inexpensive go-to. I prefer this scent in their body milk, but I'm not sure if they discontinued it, as I haven't seen it in a while. The body mist is a bit more synthetic and screechy at the start because it is alcohol-based.

I use this perfume as an everyday work perfume. I have had a few coworkers mention that they smell coconuts in a positive way. It was described as an uplifting summer scent by one coworker. It smells exactly as you would expect. Like a crisp clean coconut, not too sweet. There is nothing artificial or overpowering about the scent. It just smells like a coconut. Lasts an acceptable amount of time. Great daytime scent.

This is another affordable gem from The Body Shop. It’s just a straight up sweet (but not cloying) coconut scent. It’s fun to wear for the summer time if you’re going to the beach. It’s casual and has a nice nutty, sunscreen-y vibe. This fragrance is also good for layering with other fragrances if you want to add some tropical coconut flair. The lasting power is average.

This perfume is pretty flat and would be great for layering or spraying on after a shower, or perhaps on your PJs. At first spray, it has a synthetic blast of chemicals but seems to dry down relatively quickly. I purchased a bottle on clearance at the body shop, for only $9.00, so I can't complain. I could see this blending very well with a sweet vanilla scent.

Coconut - body spray in glass bottle Fresh, fresh coconut, clean. Good value, and good longevity. This is a clear winter day test, sprayed on arm around 10 am, it’s now 4 pm and this is a skin scent. There is an edt available and I sssume it will last longer than this one. Still for the purposes of layering or just having an inexpensive fragrance; thumbs up

This to me smells like straight-up summer in a bottle. It reminds me of the seaside, SPF creams with the scent of coconut... It's basically a perfect summer fragrance, when you just want to smell nice. It's definitely nothing special, but it's a nice add-on when you do want to smell nice and don't want to be too much 'in someone's face'.

I like this coconut scent. Its warm, milky and sweet. If you're searching for a coconut scent - this is the best choice you can make! Of all coconut perfumes I have smelled this one and VS Coconut passion is my favourite. I like the VS Coconut passion more so I gave this one to my friend and she loooooves it! A great scent to have in your arsenal for layering, Body Shop Coconut has saved many a blind buy for me. A very simple, dry and woody coconut. Lightly milky with a hint of powder, it really rounds and smooths out some fragrances that otherwise would never see the light of spray. (Crystal Noir, I'm looking at you!)

This scent gets creamy in concact with my skin, however in the bottle its overpowering, almost makes me .. Sick. Love it on summer days and summer nights outside, not so much inside at home or cafe, shoppingmal etc. Sweet, warm, vanilla and coconut, smells a little synthetic, the creamyness reminds of paper

I love this. It opens with a guilty pleasure solvent/nail polish note (you'll know if this appeals to you) and then morphs into a lovely, dry, woody coconut. No vanilla coconut body spray action in this one, nor sun lotion. No sir. Almost smells like lacquered wood. Gorgeous.

This is a cute, light and summery perfume! It’s nothing particularly special, but it’s a fun, airy and pleasant perfume to layer with, with a realistic coconut note imo 🥥

This is a lovely coconut scent. It's sweet like candy in the beginning but it turns more nutty after a few minutes. It's nice and creamy. I like it!

I love coconut. I mostly use it as a base for other fragrances just to give them a bit of a coconut kick.

A sweet coconut smell with more than just coconut note

I was gifted this fragrance along with the body butter, shower gel and coconut mist; I love this fragrance to wear on hot/humid days as it is light and fresh, and is also perfect for the beach <3 Lasting power is pretty weak, which is expected for an EDT, the sillage is surprisingly good, especially when layered with the mist and moisturiser, which amplify it a lot. Overall would highly recommend to anyone who lives in a hot or coastal area as it is just perfect for the climate :) EDIT: After wearing this more often i have to say it is quite creamy and comforting, it reminds me a little bit of the fragrance of bondi sands tanner which is very pleasent fyi. I get alot of compliments on this even if im just wearing the mist. Highly recommend :)

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect coconut that doesn’t smell like tanning lotion and unfortunately this is not it. It’s a very beachy sunscreen/tanning oil type of coconut. It’s not what I was looking for but it is nice and would recommend it if that’s the vibe you’re after.

The scent is delightful, but it does lack longevity for me. The coconut smell disappears after about 45 minutes, unless I spray a lot of it on myself. For what it is, it's acceptable. Nice to use after showering/bathing.

A very light, clean coconut that doesn't distract or impede on the sense of smell. Very much reminds me of a beach.

This is not my kind of coconut and I regret buying it, regardless of how cheap it was. I love coconut, but this BS version is like a coconut scented marker, if there ever was one. I'm not kidding. I've never actually felt that a cheap perfume smelled just that...cheap (no offense). But here you have it. My nose picks up something very chemical and the chemical smell is very strong. It's not sweet or milky or tropical on me whatsoever. Good thing it only lasts about 15 minutes. Edited to add, the body spray of this is wonderful. So much better than the EDT.

UPDATE: ok, I was a little too harsh with this one - it does smell ok on clothes, cool and fresh although still a v synthetic chemical coconut ..I kind of like it ;/ I'm in 2 minds about this one - there are wafts of cool coconut and vanilla after its sunk it to my clothes for a day but then also wipes and powder which I don't like and I don't like it on my skin - it turns musky on my skin almost immediately ;(

I love the scent of juicy, ripe, sweet fruit. However, if this is what a delicious coconut truly smells like, then I guess that coconuts are NOT my cup of tea. This fragrance smells like a combination of baby powder and rotten bananas. At first sniff, I picked up a bottle because it smelled warm and sweet. However, within a week, it became extremely sickly and nauseating.

I love The Body Shop's coconut scent, and I have the this, the body mist, and the body butter as well. At first it smelled amazing, 'cause I love coconut, but then it started to smell more like gummy bears or some sort of sweet candy. It does not smell like coconut anymore, but is now very sickening. This happened to both the products.

I don't like this coconut fragrance. It rather smells coconut shell. Speaking about coconut fragrances of nearly such a price level, I would prefer coconut fragrance by Yves Rocher for sure, because it's milky and even the best I've tried in general in perfumes. Upset(

Although I really like coconut note in fragrances, I did not like this at all. Strangely it has a very bold banana note to it. Fragrance itself is not sweet, but somehow a bit sickening. Smells more like home fragrance to me.

This was the first thing I tried in my quest for a good coconut scent, but alas this is weak. At best it smells like coconut body lotion, at worst it is oily and soapy, almost sharp and sickening. Not good at all.

I love coconut but I definitely do not like this. It is very synthetic (plastic-y) smelling and not sweet. I've tried mixing it with other scents and it just does not jive. Longevity is good though.

I really don't like this coconut scent. I'm not a fan of the coconut body butter either. This scent isn't sweet, it's bitter. I was expecting a creamy, sweet fragrance but this scent fell short.
