Lime & Matcha

I was looking for a matcha fragrance and found this for $6 on Mercari. It must be discontinued because that was the only one I could find. I agree that the lime is way more prominent than the matcha. The matcha lends it a bit of complexity and earthiness but you can’t distinctly smell matcha in this. I thought the lime would be more like a sweet limeade beverage but it’s more like tart, fresh squeezed lime juice or a lime wedge. I do get sandalwood on the dry down. Doesn’t last long but for the price I found it for, I don’t care. Very light and refreshing. Truly unisex. Edit: I'm selling mine because the performance is THAT terrible. I spray it and 15 minutes later can't smell it anymore. Not even worth being a gym fragrance if I can't smell it during my workout. I've experienced many body sprays with way better performance than this. Also, it appears that this is once again available at retail.

More lime than Matcha, but the Matcha still ads a nice slightly bitter touch. I've been enjoying this mainly as hair mist over the last few months. At least in the climate I stay in (hot humid Mumbai) there's not really any longevity or projection to speak of. But it's a fun pick-me up in between. While the ones in the line I tried so far seem to be more directed towards women, the Matcha-Lime one reads pretty unisex to me. I also got the Pomegranate and the Yuzu version of this and am liking the all over product concept enough so far to still want to get the Apricot and the Lychee one.

Mostly lime with a slight matcha edge. Doesn't last very long on skin (bit better if I put it on my clothes and/or hair). Bright summer scent for hot days. Not sweet which I like a lot of perfumes with tea ingredients tend to be sweet and I find this more sour lime.

Agree with other reviewers that this is unisex. Lime blast on the initial application (I prefer it as a hair frag): sharp, tangy and quite heavy to my nose. Settles into a limey-matcha, and then quickly disappears after an hour, or two if you are lucky. No sandalwood at all T_T. A good pick-me-up for especially hot and humid days, and if you do not mind reapplying. It is quite zesty fresh!

Lime and a bit of wood. Don’t spray this in hair, it’s full of alcohol which dries hair out, you may as well spray perfume in your hair if you’re going to use this! The whole pint of a hair mist is it has less/no alcohol so is less damaging. Poor of the body shop.

Absolutely gorgeous smell from this! Sad that's it been discontinued by the body shop. However have found it available online ( amazon and Ebay ) I get lots of citrus and lime from this with a little matcha behind it but it blends together so well for a every day spritz before heading out somewhere on your skin and over clothes too!

This is very pleasant and clean. A sweet limey smell. I'm not quite sure what matcha tea smells like so I couldn't comment on whether it smells like that. The longevity is very poor. It was only £5 discounted at the Body Shop, and it is a big bottle, so overall I am quite pleased with it.
