Mango

This is a review for The Body Shop Mango body mist and not the perfume! There is no option to review the mist so I'm leaving my review in this category. A lovely mango scent that isn't too sweet, but just the right amount of tropical fruitiness. For the summer I have been combining this with it's mango shower gel, and mango body butter which is my favourite body butter from The Body Shop. During the summer it can be a bit overwhelming to use fragrance regardless of how light the perfume you choose is. This has been perfect for me on most days, and combined with the other products from the line the scent lingers the whole day! If you enjoy mango, or tropical fruity perfumes such as; Escada Taj Sunset or Beyonce Heat Rush you will like this. x

To me this is a mood booster, for when you're getting down and dirty and need an uncomplicated sweetness that goes well on a sweaty armpit about an hour or max two. Two sprays each armpit, one below each ear, why not two above the heart. When you want your scent to comfort you, be the boundary between you and someone you may dislike, or simply tolerate. The smell of easy money. That's why I love it. Good to know it can easily be washed off or layered. Nothing can replace this one, it's a classic from Body Shop. It delivers like your favorite cheap candy brand, one you keep coming back to because of the memories and comfort. To have a nibble. It has warmth, but it's not comfortable enough to stand alone.

I picked this up not long ago and have nearly gone through half of it which for me is great news! I love it. It's like cutting open a fresh sweet mango! Very realistic smelling. Smells a lot like the Body Butter and Body Scrub to me. In case someone is wondering, on me it lasts longer that the body mists they brought out but not as long as most perfumes. Maybe 1-2 hours at best. I would have loved it if they had made it a EDP so it might have stayed around for longer but for the price that wont stop me from re-purchasing when I run out! A great Summer fragrance as I find it very refreshing!

Got the body mist of this which I use to layer over my perfumes to create my own signature scent, at present I'm using this to layer over Avons Rare Pearls, which gives that usually Clean white floral scent a fruity tropical vibe, with a deeper muskiness and a sweetened white honey. I sometimes spray it on its own after a shower for a quick pick me up, lasting power is average for a body mist, it lasts max 2 hours and is a skin scent after the first 15 minutes, but it's a body mist so no need to be mad about it. 8/10 for it's perky blast of Mango goodness.

Got this as well in body mist format. Absolutely love it but it is not a full perfume or scent for me, I use it a lot as a layering tool on other perfumes where a hint of the mango fits in well. I love it for that, but I can also see that someone might be disappointed getting ́ ́only ́ ́ mango if they haven ́t been informed. Love it for what it is, might repurchase for the specific role it fills among my scents but also can see an argument for it not being needed for most.

I love this fragrance,I never imagine Mango will be smell like this when it became a perfume. Very love it and I don't care what another say about this. I like this,if u don't like this please don't make people assume this was a bad fragrance,sometimes a fragrance didn't match with everybody's nose

This was a gift. I really like it. It is very fresh and juicy like cutting a ripe mango. It is pleasant to wear. It doesn ́t last long, but I prefer that, believe it or not. I wear this during the summer for day and night, when I want to feel fresh and kinf of edible, I find it low key sexy.

I have body spray from around 2014 so based on that this is sweet, juicy, fresh, sour enough, not parfumey at all. In my opinion this is not photorealistic mango, but more like real juicy nectarine. Brings back good memories so maybe thats why this is love for me.

I went to a body shop hoping to find refreshing passionfruit but they didnt have it and the worker reccomended me to the mango body mist and omg, its so good, its a very photorealistic ripe mango, sweet, tart and a bit green, so refreshing and fruity i love it

One of the best Body Shop body mists, imo. Smells so fresh, fruity, and juicy. Doesn't smell fake or synthetic like many of their other fruity scents. Sweet, but not too much. I only wish it lasted a little longer, because the scent itself is perfect.

I love this perfume for hot summer days, just a simple, sweet, refreshing mango. admittedly it is slightly artificial but nothing overly synthetic or unrealistic. smells sooo fruity and delicious perfect for casual wear but nothing too fancy.

If you like mangos this is for you. Projection is weak. I used to wear this when I was 15 years old and trying to seduce my swimming teacher. I did not succeed (thank God). Definitely reminds me of my youth. It’s a nice gift for teenagers.

This was my first body spray when I was younger. Fresh and sweet mango, perfect for summer, simple and pretty. However the longevity is very poor and for the cost its not something I ever rushed to restock. Lovely scent, poor performance.

I don't know what the new formulation smells like, but the one I have, which is from... I think 2023? 2022? It's so good! My favorite fruit in a fantastic fragrance. Sometimes you just want a good solinote.

Has this been reformulated? I bought A New bottle and it smells different than my old one. Way better actually. More like real mango. The old one smells artificial.

I got the body mist, not this version but it reminds me of the Soul Fruit dried mango snacks. Yum!

Simple, fresh, a bit creamy, a bit sweet. Unfortunately longevity is very poor.

Now this stuff I like! I was in TBS yesterday, buying a gift for my friend and I decided to try the Mango EdT. It smelled so good that I figured it would be wise to buy the Mango Body Butter to layer with it. I have smelled it before and liked it, but I have been afraid of it smelling cheap. But I decided to give it a go, since it's summer and all. What I like about it is that it's juicy and fruity fresh, and it smells so similar to mango (only stronger). It is just a tad alcoholic in the beginning, but it calms down after few minutes. I do think it really works well together with the Mango body butter and it does last quite a while. I also think it would be a good EdT to use if I want to spice up some of my fragrances that are a bit "tame" on their own. Today I'm wearing the mango body butter together with the mango EdT all over, and to top it off I put a tiny spritz of "The One Desire" by Dolce & Gabbana on my chest. It really worked well IMO. BUT I would also wear it and enjoy it just on its own! :) (the mixing was just an experiment). A great, fruity, summery fragrance for cheap. Thumbs up :)

I forgot I even had this until today when I thought about it! I don't have it anymore, but it was a very linear, straightforward mango with a bit of creaminess, especially in the body butter (as would be expected). It's richer than Bath and Body Works' "Mango Mandarin", but is still markedly refreshing. As is the norm for these body products; it's best when layered with the body wash, butter, and mist. I recommend just getting the entire line of items (the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts). It's perfect for layering, or wearing on it's own. My family used to love it...especially my mom, who's a known mango fanatic both in fragrance and in regard for eating. I actually never thought it was overly artifical smelling (although not hyper-realistic), but somewhere between an imitation of the natural fragrance and a sythentic rendition. Pretty decent! 🥭

I tried this last night on a warm Summer evening, surrounded by friends with a few drinks and a BBQ, and I really liked it. My brother's girlfriend is naturally pretty and beachy and I could smell this on her as she walked in. It's simple, fresh and pretty. Nothing groundbreaking, but very, very sweet. Almost natural smelling. I swear I smelt something lingering underneath the mango to balance it out, maybe some vanilla? There isn't much else to say about it to be honest. It lasted about an hour and my boyfriend agreed that it smelled nice, and usually he's quite hard to please. It's a crowd pleaser and very refreshing for sure. For such a cheap price, I think it's worth investing in a little bottle. I might even get one myself! Perfect for lazy afternoons in the sun when you want to smell tropical, fruity and nice.

It starts as a fresh, sweet mango scent, like I just sliced open a ripe juicy mango. Has faded into a pleasant shampoo scent an hour later. Intimate sillage, I doubt anyone else can detect I'm wearing any perfume. Three hours after application I occasionally catch whiffs of a nice, softly sweet fruity smell. As I'm quite sensitive to fragrances and prone to headaches and nausea, this is a good thing. I sprayed pretty generously and still didn't feel overwhelmed. I'd say it gets sweeter as it settles, and loses its fresh and terpenic notes. It goes from fruity, natural fresh to more of a shampoo kind of clean smell. It's like the scent that wafts from your hair when it's still damp from a warm shower after using a mango-scented shampoo. Perfect for summer!

This is going to be a summer staple for sure! I got this in the body mist formulation and so far I'm completely obsessed with it. This is a fresh and juicy mango, it's actually very realistic and not synthetic to my nose. This body mist is such a joy to wear, it immediately perks me up and transforms my outlook. It's fruity and delicious, And in my opinion, you just can't go wrong smelling like a yummy mango smoothie in the summer heat! Love this one! <3 This body mist doesn't last as long as I'd hoped, but it's better than some I've tried. You can always refresh it, and I like it better that way! So far, this has become a regular in my rotation. Scent: 8.5/10 Longevity: 3 hours (for body mist) Sillage: Soft Would I repurchase? Yes!!!

Body Mist Review: I tried the body mist several times and would probably grab a bottle soon(edit: got it). This smells like those mango-flavoured candies. Not exactly natural but a chemical replica. It's not a bad thing, because it smells rather tutti fruity juicy and sweet, the scent of syrupy candied mangoes. The body mist lasts around 5-6 hours on my skin, which is fantastic. I might pick this up along with the strawberry one although the latter's longevity is rather weak (4 hours max). As for the EDT itself, it smells tangier than the body mist but surprisingly, its silage seems on par with the body mist - soft.

I have the body sorbet which I don't recommend due to the strange gritty texture. But the scent I LOVE! It reminds me of my early 20s when I wore orangey body lotions to emphasize the citrus notes in my Clinique Happy edt. I smelled my arm after wearing the sorbet for an hr or two and was very pleasantly surprised by the light vanilla basenote i smelled. I'm anxious to try other products in this scent. I will try the spray instead of edt since TBS edt's tend to smell synthetic and plasticy to me. Can't go wrong with their body products though. Love to see what little treasures I can find on sale at tj maxx!

Mango edt Yep she’s a mango. Fresh, clean, mango. This lasts well on me, this is a winter test (probably to sickly in the summer) and I have never thought much of the body shop sweet fruit scents, ever. They have always been weak. I sprayed it around 10am, it’s now past four and this is clearly on me with the help of my jumper fabric. It’s a close skin scent. I’ve not had any body shop products last like this. It could be some kind of hormone or season change. I will review the body mist also.

This fragrance smells mango so natural! It really reminds this my favorite fruit a lot. I guess that this fragrance will be awesome for the hot weather. Only in drydown it reminds me a little bit Sunset Heat by Escada that I have, so I decided not not buy it. But it's lighter and less complex, but in the beginning and some time later it's much more natural. I even don't know if I'm ready to smell a truly fruit. I will think about it more close to the summer:) I like this fragrance. Good job!

I own both the mody mist and the eau de toilette. They're both extremely sweet. I feel like a living, breathing gummy bear when I wear this - and I adore it! Just pure, sweet mango goodness. The body mist used to be my every day "at home" smell. It's not long lasting at all, but it makes my naturel scent more sweet. The eau de toilette is quite week as well, but it lasts a lot longer than the mist!

This is just what it says - mango. Nice, a bit sweet and tropical. Not a synthetic mango note, a natural smelling one. I like it, it's very good, pleasant scent. Light, summery, fruity, lovely simple fragrance. The only downside is, it's not as long lasting as I would like it to be. Generally, I think that The Body Shop has very good EDT's and body sprays compared to Victoria's Secret for example.

Mango body mist Clean clear mango, oops I should have remembered to add that both this and the edt have a soft fizzy warmth to the dry down. The body mist is a bit useless, it’s not long lasting, the coconut and vanilla one actually do last. Body mist runs through its notes within s couple huors. Nice though, it’s not edible or sugar sweet -at least not in winter

Smells just like mango! To my nose, this is a creamy almost vanilla-y mango (as opposed to a fruity fresh mango) which is what I prefer since I am a huge vanilla fan. Great for layering, but also good on its own since it is very creamy and soft. Longevity is not very good, which is why I usually layer it or wear it at home/to bed. Sillage is okay.

well I have both the mist and the edt,i must say I prefer the mist,it lasts a long time,its sweet but light and creamy and even though its in a glass bottle its fine to carry around,the edt is nice,but the opening is very strong mango,blew my socks off,it takes ages to calm down,not sure if I like it or not,seems a perfect summer scent

the alcohol is quite strong at the first couple seconds but then the mango hits (i’m flying) absolutely adore this scent it’s just the longevity that’s absolutely ass💔. the way it smells on my skin is honestly amazing it turns into a sweet soft skin scent. would i buy it again even tho it last shortly fuck yewh😛

I tried the body mist in this and it is delicious! The Body Shop Mango is a bright, cheery, sweet scent. It smells just like the fruit and is very juicy. UPDATE: I tried the EDT and it's very tart compared to the body mist. Neither concentration lasts very long, so I think I'll pass on this scent.

This is nice, but it is painfully short lived. Nice, fruity, sweet mango scent - with a dose of vanilla, as well, if I'm not very much mistaken. Good to put on just out of the shower...and then put on something else, once you've got your clothes on, because this scent will be gone by then. 4/10

Tropical fresh juicy scent. It is feminine and great during hot summer days. I guess this is the page for the body mist since the EDT does not exist anymore and the body mist dosen’t have it’s own page.

I usually avoid mango as a note. This perfume reminded me that I do actually like the smell of *real* mangoes. Sweet, juicy, golden and delicious, rather than "tropical perfume". A winner.

No. It doesn't smell like realistic mango. Real mango smells like camphor with needles. Here, it smells more like apricot :|

it's sweet and fun but doesn't last long, so I'd recommend you layer it with matching body butter. good for warm weather!

I sprayed it on a testing paper once. It smells like sweet, fresh mango. Pretty pleasant scent, and not complicated :)

I’ve been looking for the perfect fruity, bright mango scent for just enjoying around the house, and sadly this one won’t be it. Not only is the longevity poor, but with my body chemistry, this dries down almost musky? The only way I could see making use out of this is finding something good to layer with it.

I can’t imagine anyone over the age of 14-15 wearing this. I got a bottle for free a few years ago, and I haven’t used it more then a handful of times. If you want a tropical fruit scent for summer, try Brazilian Crush.

A very light mango smell, more like mango water, smells a bit artificial alone, on skin it smells better. Sillage is intimate as it is very weak as well as the lasting time, at best it lasts 30-40min.

One of my first ever scents. To be honest, I use this for the gym or as a room spray sometimes. I dont think I'm gonna repurchase, but I also like more gourmand scents. This is lovely for what it is
