Pink Grapefruit

Sometimes a bright, clean, simple grapefruit is all that will do in the morning. I can wake up tired, headachy, with a blah-feeling stomach, and NO perfume sounds good. Except this. I spray on, and I suddenly go from black and white to color. :) It really is legit aromatherapy! It's kind of amazing. I also love usingit to extend the experience of my fav grapefruit-scented face wash that I use in the shower. I'm always sad to rinse that delicious scent down the drain, but knowing this is waiting for me on my vanity, helps. This little bottle is nothing but true pink grapefruit. I think if we took a peek into the factory windows, we'd see them grinding pink grapefruit halves on a juicer with a funnel straight into these bottles!! That might sound boring and uninspired to some, but to myself, who adores straight forward, simple fragrances, it's wonderful. I don't detect any musk like others have stated.(one reason I love this as musk is not my friend) It just dries from grapefruit, down to more grapefruit, down to more grapefruit, until it whispers "goodbye" on your skin, and you start all over! :) Like others have said, spray on your skin if you just want a quick three minutes of a grapefruit pick-me-up. The upside to it's short life on your skin, is that by the time you've had breakfast, and go to leave the house, you can spray on another fragrance if you're in the mood, without worrying about the two clashing. Otherwise, spray hair and clothes for a grapefruit-scented cloud around you that will last a couple of hours, that couldn't possibly offend a soul. You might even provide some aromatherapy to someone close to you who is having a black and white day. :) *Only I could type three paragraphs about the scent of grapefruit...lol *smh*

Pink Grapefruit is, if you ask me, the best fragrance that The Body Shop has to offer. It's fresh, tangy and sour. I feel that at least for me the sillage is just about right, and it's not overpowering. I dislike overpowering fragrances that give me a headache, but this one is "strong" in a fresh way which is super nice. This fragrance is amazing to start the day with because it wakes you up, puts a smile on your face and makes you excited. One less exciting thing about it is that it doesn't last very long. I'd say it's at its strongest only for about an hour and then it starts to disappear quite fast, so you'll need to keep spraying it on every two hours at least if you want longevity! (this is the body mist I'm referring to and not the eau de toilette, which I haven't tried) I often like to first apply some matching Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet and then on top of that spray on the Body Mist. The great thing about The Body Shop is exactly this, that you can combine so many different kinds of products that all smell the same, and the result after using/applying everything on your skin is amazing. And you FEEL amazing. I think that Pink Grapefruit is equally strong as Strawberry, but it of course smells completely different, not sweet but sour. Pink Grapefruit is my first choice from The Body Shop and I highly recommend it! :)

I luv body shop scents! I can't say i love the products and how they work on my skin, over the course of time i have bought quite a few, including products for hair, shampoo, hand cream, blushes,brush, glow spray, foundation(it wasn't exceeding as quality but it was ok), face cream with reflection(wich was realy bad for my skin) lip butter and body sprays etc. On the other hand i luv the scents! So this scent is fresh, sharp and uplifting, it smells really nice and juicy, delicious! It has a simple sharp sparkling graperfruit smell.it was an instant like.The graperfruit in this is lovely,fresh and smells like a sweet candy with a nice graperfruit flavor. I've tested the body shop hand creams with fruity notes including honey, mango, rose and the graperfruit note was the most apealing, it is so fresh and nice, it smells simply of graperfruit so i bought it.i also received compliments every time i was puting it on.well i like it most for it's smell rather than quality(wasn't exceeding in quality and how i felt it on my skin). I bought a few months ago 'Clarins, Eau des Jardins' wich i find too sharp and nauseating,wanting a fresh, uplifting scent for the summer and found Pink Graperfruit to be the best substitute for what i initialy expected from a fresh fruity scent. Big like for this scent, it is one of my favs❤

For the Americans, The Body Shop is our B&BW. Every British tween had a body shop mist, it’s a rite of passage😂. And this was probably one of the most popular, so I bought the EDT a year ago for the whimsical throwback of it. It’s still a great citrus, zesty smell. It’s very one dimensional but I don’t really care because it’s just a fun fresh fragrance that uplifts you every time you wear it and makes you feel more awake and alive. You will enjoy this perfume, even if citrus isn’t really your thing because it just completely uplifts you and your mood. The EDT is also a pretty good performer, and doesn’t just disappear instantly. I would recommend anyone try this if you haven’t before and urge anyone who had it in the last to get it and remember that lovely uplifting freshness that you probably oversprayed in the PE changing rooms aged 12.

So, I was just looking in my local The Body Shop store and I found a perfect grapefruit scent: THIS FRAGRANCE. I tried different grapefruit fragrances but they didn't fit for my sophisticated nose. The first one was "Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune" by Guerlain, but it was very fresh and watery grapefruit and wanted something slightly more intense. Then there was "Eau de Pamplemousse Rose" by Hermes, but this one was a bittersweet grapefruit, which was too intense for me. I needed something a grapefruit that was just PERFECT! And there was it, by The Body shop. Happily, I sprayed it twice on my wrist and the day went on. But after 10 minutes, when I got out of the mall, I smelled my wrist and the scent was GONE! I can't believe an EDT can have such less longevity! *sigh* I'll just get the shower gel instead.
