Pink Grapefruit

Sometimes a bright, clean, simple grapefruit is all that will do in the morning. I can wake up tired, headachy, with a blah-feeling stomach, and NO perfume sounds good. Except this. I spray on, and I suddenly go from black and white to color. :) It really is legit aromatherapy! It's kind of amazing. I also love usingit to extend the experience of my fav grapefruit-scented face wash that I use in the shower. I'm always sad to rinse that delicious scent down the drain, but knowing this is waiting for me on my vanity, helps. This little bottle is nothing but true pink grapefruit. I think if we took a peek into the factory windows, we'd see them grinding pink grapefruit halves on a juicer with a funnel straight into these bottles!! That might sound boring and uninspired to some, but to myself, who adores straight forward, simple fragrances, it's wonderful. I don't detect any musk like others have stated.(one reason I love this as musk is not my friend) It just dries from grapefruit, down to more grapefruit, down to more grapefruit, until it whispers "goodbye" on your skin, and you start all over! :) Like others have said, spray on your skin if you just want a quick three minutes of a grapefruit pick-me-up. The upside to it's short life on your skin, is that by the time you've had breakfast, and go to leave the house, you can spray on another fragrance if you're in the mood, without worrying about the two clashing. Otherwise, spray hair and clothes for a grapefruit-scented cloud around you that will last a couple of hours, that couldn't possibly offend a soul. You might even provide some aromatherapy to someone close to you who is having a black and white day. :) *Only I could type three paragraphs about the scent of grapefruit...lol *smh*

Pink Grapefruit is, if you ask me, the best fragrance that The Body Shop has to offer. It's fresh, tangy and sour. I feel that at least for me the sillage is just about right, and it's not overpowering. I dislike overpowering fragrances that give me a headache, but this one is "strong" in a fresh way which is super nice. This fragrance is amazing to start the day with because it wakes you up, puts a smile on your face and makes you excited. One less exciting thing about it is that it doesn't last very long. I'd say it's at its strongest only for about an hour and then it starts to disappear quite fast, so you'll need to keep spraying it on every two hours at least if you want longevity! (this is the body mist I'm referring to and not the eau de toilette, which I haven't tried) I often like to first apply some matching Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet and then on top of that spray on the Body Mist. The great thing about The Body Shop is exactly this, that you can combine so many different kinds of products that all smell the same, and the result after using/applying everything on your skin is amazing. And you FEEL amazing. I think that Pink Grapefruit is equally strong as Strawberry, but it of course smells completely different, not sweet but sour. Pink Grapefruit is my first choice from The Body Shop and I highly recommend it! :)

I luv body shop scents! I can't say i love the products and how they work on my skin, over the course of time i have bought quite a few, including products for hair, shampoo, hand cream, blushes,brush, glow spray, foundation(it wasn't exceeding as quality but it was ok), face cream with reflection(wich was realy bad for my skin) lip butter and body sprays etc. On the other hand i luv the scents! So this scent is fresh, sharp and uplifting, it smells really nice and juicy, delicious! It has a simple sharp sparkling graperfruit smell.it was an instant like.The graperfruit in this is lovely,fresh and smells like a sweet candy with a nice graperfruit flavor. I've tested the body shop hand creams with fruity notes including honey, mango, rose and the graperfruit note was the most apealing, it is so fresh and nice, it smells simply of graperfruit so i bought it.i also received compliments every time i was puting it on.well i like it most for it's smell rather than quality(wasn't exceeding in quality and how i felt it on my skin). I bought a few months ago 'Clarins, Eau des Jardins' wich i find too sharp and nauseating,wanting a fresh, uplifting scent for the summer and found Pink Graperfruit to be the best substitute for what i initialy expected from a fresh fruity scent. Big like for this scent, it is one of my favs❤

For the Americans, The Body Shop is our B&BW. Every British tween had a body shop mist, it’s a rite of passage😂. And this was probably one of the most popular, so I bought the EDT a year ago for the whimsical throwback of it. It’s still a great citrus, zesty smell. It’s very one dimensional but I don’t really care because it’s just a fun fresh fragrance that uplifts you every time you wear it and makes you feel more awake and alive. You will enjoy this perfume, even if citrus isn’t really your thing because it just completely uplifts you and your mood. The EDT is also a pretty good performer, and doesn’t just disappear instantly. I would recommend anyone try this if you haven’t before and urge anyone who had it in the last to get it and remember that lovely uplifting freshness that you probably oversprayed in the PE changing rooms aged 12.

So, I was just looking in my local The Body Shop store and I found a perfect grapefruit scent: THIS FRAGRANCE. I tried different grapefruit fragrances but they didn't fit for my sophisticated nose. The first one was "Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune" by Guerlain, but it was very fresh and watery grapefruit and wanted something slightly more intense. Then there was "Eau de Pamplemousse Rose" by Hermes, but this one was a bittersweet grapefruit, which was too intense for me. I needed something a grapefruit that was just PERFECT! And there was it, by The Body shop. Happily, I sprayed it twice on my wrist and the day went on. But after 10 minutes, when I got out of the mall, I smelled my wrist and the scent was GONE! I can't believe an EDT can have such less longevity! *sigh* I'll just get the shower gel instead.

I've expressed my affection for The Body Shop's fragrances before, and in this case, I stand firm. I have the body mist, not the EDT. The bottles for these body mists are all very classy, very simple, and much nicer than the usual body mist or spray. I really love this packaging. The scent of Pink Grapefruit is exactly as the name suggests. It smells purely like a REAL, fresh grapefruit. Nothing more, nothing less. And in this way, it lacks nothing. I really love this and it smells very good on the skin. Again, since it's a body mist, you can spray your entire body without offending anyone. This is one of my favorite scents from The Body Shop. 10/10 for me. xx

I love the fresh, citrusy scent of this fragrance. It actually makes my mouth water. Pink Grapefruit Eau de Toilette is the closest fragrance to the real grapefruit. The scent reminds me of Gatorade Chewing Gum, which was juicy, citrusy and made one salivate. My only complaint, that seems to represent the majority of other reviewers, is that the scent doesn't last long. I spray it on my body, as well as my clothing, in hopes of having the fragrance linger a little bit longer. I will definitely continue to use this scent.

You know when you peel a ruby red grapefruit in the winter and the skin sprays you with its essential oils? They bottled up that goodness for us! It is so realistic and slightly bitter, that my mouth just waters. Great and uplifting scent! Does not last longer than 90 minutes on me, but I dont mind because its a great pick-me-up. I definitely would wear this in all seasons...especially winter, because that is when grapefruit is in season! Is this perfume or aromatherapy?? YES!

I got this body mist this morning and I am OBSESSED. It did not last more than an hour on my skin but I sprayed it on my clothes and it’s lasted much longer (it’s been about 2 hours and I’m still getting significant wafts). It’s super fresh pink grapefruit that is really energizing and uplifting. If anyone knows of an EDP that smells just like this, I would buy! Just for a stronger scent. But really this is so good and will probably layer nicely with a multitude of scents.

Sometimes in my scented life I just want to smell a single juicy sour pungent note like this Pink Grapefruit. True it is not long lasting but I enjoy wearing it on days that I am in my studio working all day. It's crispness keeps me focused and since it is an inexpensive little treasure I am not breaking the bank when I spritz tons of it on throughout the day even though no one else will be there to smell it (pets excluded of course;))

I've got the body mist and it is superb, however it does not last. I'm hoping the edt will do better! edit. i now have the edt, not very strong but my, is it gloriously crisp and fresh! Unfortunately, does not last either, but I will gladly re-spray this delightful scent :) edit 2. sticks better to clothes, I'm getting 2-3 hrs out of it when sprayed on my shirt. gosh, I could bathe in this :)

The perfect pink grapefruit. It's a citrus, and it doesn't come in anything above edt, and it's made by TBS, so that's a triple whammy on the longevity, but it's a decent couple of hours, and lasts surprisingly well on clothes. Not much else to say- if you've smelt a pink grapefruit you've smelt this. I love the refreshing simplicity of that.

I tested the body mist today and I find it adorable. It's such a light and fresh grapefruit scent. Very nice for summer, I consider it a little sour and I love it. I bought it for my friend as a birthday present and it seems that I need one for myself too.

Perfectly fresh yet sweet linear grapefruit! 🫶🏻🩷 What else can you ask for! Works great on its own aswell as a layering body spray with any citrussy fragrance. My go-to scent 🥰✨️

I love this! One of my favourites ever. AWESOME <3 I love it's freshness and suitably sweetness, then the Lovely sourness. It's like liquid candy! Love it, love it, love it..

UGH IT'S SO GOOD Grapefruit. It's just straight up photorealistic grapefruit and it's so good. I don't even know what to tell you man it's grapefruit

Have really been enjoying Pink Grapefruit this summer. Perfect scent to just spray on around the house, because it's not overpowering and doesn't stick around long - great refresher. My husband says it reminds him too much of cleaner, but I can tell it's grapefruit and not lemon - and it doesn't smell artificial to me. I use it more like a body spray honestly. The great thing is that a lot of summer perfumes I wore have a grapefruit note in them, so this EDT layered so nicely with all of them, kicking up that sweet grapefruit note and making the masculine fragrances a bit more feminine. One thing I've noticed is that I have to spray this on my skin, though. I've tried making it last longer by spraying my clothes, but I feel that it turns sour on my clothing and smells unpleasant. It needs warm skin to sweeten, at least on me. Bought this in an airport back when I used to travel more. Makes me miss going places :( It's a good cheapie if you're on a budget. Try it!

Citrus scents, especially the sour ones which usually have a strong lemon and grapefruit, tend to have an almost "healing" quality for me. Whenever I feel sick or low on energy these are the scents that I surround myself with. Citrus fragrances make my headaches and nausea go away and put me in a good mood again. That being said, this fragrance is no different. I used to have the edt, but it doesn't have a lot of longevity and seems a bit watery compared to some other products of the same line. I've been using the Pink Grapefruit Body Butter for over a year now. The longevity is better and my skin loves TBS's body butter the most out of all moisturizing products. Double win! It's the first thing I put on after I get out of the shower. So fresh and clean, yet slightly bitter.

Pink Grapefruit is what it says on the tin. It's pure grapefruit; juicy, bittersweet, very natural and utterly delicious. There really isn't more to it than that; it does one thing, but it does it very well. So it's obviously only for grapefruit lovers (like me)! There are other grapefruit perfumes out there that are more complex and probably better overall, but this one is perfect for those moments when you're just craving that pure grapefruit smell. As others have said, it does work wonderfully as aromatherapy. It's perfect in the morning to help me wake up or in the afternoon to brighten my mood after a stressful day. And the short longevity is actually a plus, because it leaves room to put on a "real" perfume to go out with afterwards.

I was given this and the bodybutter. It is, like so many stated below, a straight up super realistic pink grapefruit. Possibly leaving a faint pop of bubblegum before saying good-bye after about an hour. It's a wonderful pick-me-up and I keep it in my desk drawer and enjoy it sometimes during long hours by the computer. But - and this is wierd, - I have a horrible suspicion it might smell a bit BO on me because of it's sourness. Now, I don't mind walking outside smelling like a barn yard in a cloud of Tom Ford Urban Musk but this little baby scares me. So strictly aroma therapeutic when no one is around. Anyway big applauds again for The Body Shop delivering such fine scents! Gourmand!

I have the body mist version. These fruit scents are what I think The Body Shop does best - they're loyal to the description and provide that simple feeling that comes from one-note fruitiness. This one is super tangy and fresh, smells pretty much like actual grapefruit to me. I bought it to be worn after shower when I want to feel extra fresh or on hot summer days, and it's perfect for just that. Not really anything special per se, but just a good likeable one-note scent that gives you what it promises.

My scent to wear during hot and humid summer days and on the seaside. I am on my 2nd bottle and I like it. It’s simple and smells like bittersweet grapefruit. I bought DG Light Blue hoping to add something to my summer citrus collection, but unfortunately it does not stay as long as this one and smells a bit chemical. Truly, if you are looking for a more complex smell this one is not for you. But it’s a simple girly lovely smell for the summer or spring time everyone can easily wear.

LOVE this scent. It's so refreshing and uplifting and almost energising. Great for summer but also for other times of year when you need a boost. Admittedly like someone else here I have the body mist not the eau de toilette. I assume the eau de toilette is a bit more zingy - I have tried the shower gel, body butter and souffle in tje range as well. The shower gel is definitely the best as it is the most zingy. The others are nice but not as zingy as the shower gel for some reason.

Oh, if only this lasted for me! I love this scent - sweet and fresh, but with the slight bitterness so reminiscent of a ruby red grapefruit. I like the sweet glass bottle and pale pink juice. Unfortunately, this perfume last barely an hour after spraying before if wears off completely. However, I don't mind re-applying it a couple of times throughout the day, as I find the citrus scent so refreshing and mood-lifting.

I bought this perfume yesterday and it’s amazing! I mean it’s extremely cheap and affordable about 10 £. I bought this cause I wanted a cheap and fresh perfume, and I mean I got what I asked for, but when it dries down it almost smells vanillc, it’s the most sweet, powdery and fresh grapefruit you can imagine, it doesn’t smell artificial in any way, just a sweet, vanllic, and powdery fresh pink grapefruit! <3

I really love this stuff, too much can really bring out the bitterness but A few sprays on clean clothes and clean skin can really elevate your scent, it smells like someone really nice and clean. I got compliments the first time I sprayed this around my family, its a bubbly youthful crowd pleaser scent. Very basic smells like grapefruit, can be worn all year round, get it if you like grapefruit.

A very tangy fruity perfume. I thought about buying this EDT when I was testing it out in The Body Shop, but it's simply too fruity and bright for me (even though I'm definitely a floral-fruity fan). On the plus side, it does smell like real grapefruit a lot- very juicy and citrussy. I like it, but I don't think I would wear this. It might be great for layering, though.

A bright, sharp pure pink grapefruit. I agree with previous comments that it can smell bitter if you overspray (kinda easy to do if you’re trying to get more silage, which you wont) but I love sparkling refreshing fragrances like this in the summer. You obviously need to like pink grapefruit as there isn’t more to it than this. I however am a fan of its simplicity :)

This is a lovely scent on a card and for a while on my skin, citrusy of course, for that's all it really is and tart not sweet. Half an hour later it had become a little sour for me, an hour later it had faded away. I do like body shop fragrances but I'm more inclined to buy their lotions and potions or something with more complexity.

Bittersweet, zesty, zingy very bright and uplifting! This is a gorgeous pick me up mist for a scorching summer morning. It doesn’t last which is disappointing for a mist on the pricier side but I don’t mind reapplying. It is so refreshing and delightful whenever I do. I’ll try to layer it on top of my (not so) Happy Clinique perfume 😉

It smells just like you had been eating a grapefruit. I love the smell but I'm not sure I want to smell like I dropped grapefruit all over me all day long. I like it, but I would not wear it. Too simple since it contains just one note. Had it contained more notes, along with the grapefruit - I would have bought it for sure.

Lovely scent, pure grapefruit sweetness, without it smelling like lemon pledge, Very uplifting and invigorating.. if you want a cheaper version very similar to this try Body Fantasies Body Mist Grapefruit , they just came out with a awesome grapefruit that is half the price of this. and it comes in purse size, lol!

Crisp grapefruit. fresh and uplifting . Put this on this morning to test . sun is shining outside and this realy makes me wake up ;) This realy smells off grapfruit and slight musk . i get that straight out of the shower feal about this one . clean, fresh and ready for a life. perfect for hot summerdays

Delicious and refreshing, very citrusy and true to the grapefruit note. Smells just like the fruit. Doesn't last long but for the price it is good for a wake up in the morning scent, good to layer with the rest of the body care line. Good grapefruit note if this is a favorite for you. Casual wear.

It’s very much just literally pink grapefruit. It’s not an artificial smelling fragrance though. Worth the money but this perfume is quite sharp or sour instead of sweet so a lot of people will find this fragrance unappealing.

Nice and fresh smell. But it only last for about two-three hours and that is very disappointing :( It's just like a body mist, so I think it is too expensive (at least in Sweden where they cost about 20 dollars).

It’s been years since I had this, but I loved that it was a one-note fragrance. It smells like a grapefruit cup, leaning a bit sweeter than fresh fruit. If I had to characterize it, I would say energetic.

pure pink grapefruit, super accurate to real-life scent. loses projection after 1 hour, but the smell lasts on the skin 4+ hours. perfect citrus for summer that will never get cloying in high heat.

I don’t wear this perfume anymore, but I spray it around my room because it is so fresh and nice! It’s very reasonably priced, and it smells EXACTLY like grapefruit🥰🥰

This smells nice and fresh during the first minute then you don't smell anything. But After about 5 minutes you start to smell like orange juice

Pretty realistic, sour and fresh. Even while being fresh and fruity i find this can be nauseating and unpleasant to smell for longer periods.
