Strawberry

To those who don't get true strawberry, I am truly sorry. I suppose this has to be a chemistry issue, or perhaps the body mist or fragrance oil is different, I have the EDT. I grew up growing strawberries, and this smells like fresh, ripe, red, sunwarmed strawberries. Like when you walk outside on a hot day and you find the perfect glossy juicy strawberry and you pick it and eat it and it's so much sweeter and has so much more flavour than anything you could ever get at the grocery store. Although I am young(ish), I am not a fan of teenage, fruity/sweety scents...please don't chalk up my love of this to that. In fact, fruit scents, to me, are usually disappointing, as they rarely measure up to the real thing. This DOES. My usual kind of scents are usually big creamy white florals, and wood/oud/incense/leather/tobacco type stuff. But I never want to be without this. It's also great layered with my favorite layering juice - Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. Very fresh. I am not a fan of the rest of the body shop strawberry beauty products, as they DO smell of fake strawberry. But this EDT...mmmmmm. It's so good. However, it is quite linear. While you get a big, delicious, juicy, sweet strawberry - that's all you get. Also, the sillage and longevity are sadly lacking. But gosh, it sure is good while it lasts! 9/10

I love this, and I don’t care that it’s a one-note-wonder; everything that’s good doesn’t have to be complex. This is just fresh, juicy, yummy strawberry all the way. The eau de toilette has a little more of the tartness that is missing in some of the other bath products in the strawberry scent. I find that the shower gel and the body puree have more of a strawberry candy smell, while the eau de toilette has a fresh berry smell. If anyone’s grandmother puts up strawberries in the freezer, and cuts them up in homemade syrup with tons of sugar, this is that smell. I think of my grandma’s strawberry shortcake every time I smell this. The longevity isn’t great on this one, but it is much better than their pink grapefruit for staying power. I’d say it’s strong for a couple of hours, and then you can only catch occasional whiffs. It does help to spray it on your clothes as well though; that seems to help the scent stick. This is easily my favorite scent from The Body Shop, with pink grapefruit as a close runner-up.

Just got this! This is just a perfectly juicy little innocent strawberry scent. Seems to me there was a strawberry version of the Skinny Dip cologne. I want to say this is exactly what it smelled like, but I'm only going from memory....and it's not so reliable anymore! It might have been Love's Fresh Strawberry, if they had one? At any rate, this is a teen strawberry scent from when I was a...teenager. A scent I've been searching for! I was about to give up. ALL the scents out now, and I couldn't find just a plain juicy strawberry scent! I bought this blind and I'm not let down one bit! If you were a fruity teen like me, you just can't go wrong. I used to sneak a spray of mom's perfume when I was a child, and in front of the mirror, it transformed me into a little woman. This is just the opposite. Ya might wanna skip the mirror part, and the wrinkles will cease to exist! Magic!

If you're trying this, looking for a realistic strawberry scent, or any development, you should just keep on walking. This is a sweet, delicious, SYNTHETIC strawberry from beginning to end. Period. It's not sophisticated, but then who says perfume always has to be? It IS a heck of a lot of fun and is a total blast from the past for those of us who remember being 13 and having half the girls in your class smelling like yummy strawberry bubblegum. Completely nostalgic, fun, and decidedly uncomplicated - and it makes me happy. What more can I ask from a perfume than that?

Tutti fruity jammy candy-like Strawberry scent. Makes you feel like a young kid again, with all those strawberry-scented soaps and shampoos. The scent in the EDT is considerably stronger than the body mist, so I opted for the EDT. (pst, for the mango one, the body mist will suffice). Now I'm about to go skip into a childhood fantasy land. Sillage is rather moderately strong as 3 squirts made everyone in the elevator turn their heads.

Candied strawberry with a fresh and light green touch. Smells like many other strawberry fragrances, and like the other Body Shop fragrances, turns sour on me. The body butter is much better though. It's a super gourmand strawberry ! Creamy strawberry candy and bubblegum with a touch of vanilla. Keep out of the reach of children ! Update : it's so gourmand that even my cat has been trying to eat it !

The EDT is perfect for a refreshing summer casual fragrance. Just a pleasant strawberry scent (not too sweet) that I enjoyed smelling and lasted most of the day for me! Reminds me of the smell of strawberry jello or kool-aid when it is still in its powder form. Fun and pleasant to smell as you are going about your day. Refreshing--just like a strawberry daiquiri on a hot day.

For my two cents, or 4 bucks or so, I found this an awesome strawberry scent I'd pay 20 bucks for. Sure, I still miss Ralph Lauren Wild with its strawberry and watermelon perfection, but at $80+ a bottle on eBay, not so much. The Body Shop Strawberry is juicy, sharp, sweet, and true to the fruit. I'd recommend it. 8/10

Thanks @Susana75! I took your advice and this strawberry body spray with the new Miss Dior smells great! For Australians, this body mist smells exactly like Hubba Bubba bubblegum in the strawberry flavour! Sweet, fruity and got a syrupy jammy quality to it. Very nice and yummy!

Just to add I bought the body mist as well today. It's tutti fruity sweet as well, just a bit weaker. Makes lovely linen mist and great for layering. I totally want to smell like a strawberry bomb - so childish and girly!

I love this one, so much! Exactly what I want, a linear strawberry. Maybe I would want it "louder" and last a bit longer.. It seems like they might be discontinuing this one though :(

A nice and fruity scent! Smells like strawberry jam to me. I like it quite well, even though it's not the most luxurious one. I think it's a great one for summer.

Literal strawberry. Simple smell. Suitable for those who dont like complicated scent. Last for like 30 minutes. Mass pleasing. Suitable for hot climate country.

I enjoy this before bed layered over the lotion. It is very light and sweet. For me it is a great choice when I don't want to wear perfume at home.

I love it ! It's so nice, sweet and fresh : only strawberry but in a "Body Shop" way, not sickening, always delicate.

The body mist version was given to me as a gift some time ago, and for heads up, I don't like sweet-smelling, girly perfume (but I wore it anyways because it's a gift). True to its name it is girly, fruity, cheerful, and sweet--but thankfully strikes as light to me. Reminds me of kiddie shampoo and fragrance people in elementary school used to wear, but higher quality and less synthetic. I use it time to time when I'm not necessarily going anywhere and in need of the childlike spirit. It's bright so I think it suits sunny and humid days (I live in tropical areas, that's basically almost everyday). Lasts 2 to 2.5 hours on my skin without layering before it's reduced to very faint unidentified sweetness. Zero sillage, as expected of body mist.

I was disappointed upon first trying this as I was expecting an exact replica of the hand lotion. So I let it sit in my closet all summer long, silently stewing about my situation. After some time and zero expectations, I think its nice. The weather was humid and hot in late summer and there is some green in this take on strawberry. Maybe it was the hand lotion that was more like jolly rancher candy all along. I think I can make this scent work for me, I was just initially expecting something else. All in all, won't repurchase but will try to use.

Oh my, I used to wear the strawberry oil version in my late teens (later I heard they could always tell where I'd been as I left behind the sweet smell of strawberry.. :)) so I had to buy this one for myself, if not to wear, then just for the nostalgia :) It's very sweet and synthetic and oh so lovely :) Not very strong, so I'm guessing I'll work my way through this bottle pretty quickly (as I will both satsuma and the pink grapefruit). But for 15€ I'd say it's well worth it. Edit. seems to linger a lot longer on my clothes :)

"Big strawberry", yes indeed! 🤣🍓 Look, if you want a delicate, naturalistic strawberry, don't come for this one. This is an artificial strawberry, and smells like those candies your auntie had in a glass dish - the ones with the wrappers that looked like a strawberry. It really is a single-note fragrance. You can't really be strawberry-shy, and you'll hate this if you are. This is simply a *big* strawberry, and it's for those of us who DGAF (don't give a fruit) 😜

How I imagine CandyLand from Katy Perry's music video smells like. Very artificial and sweet but not in a bad way!! I used it when I was in high school, probably wouldn't use it now if someone gave it to me as a gift or something:) Even though I'm 20 smells a bit immature for me. If I remember correctly, it wouldn't last very long and that's a shame considering it came in such a small bottle:(

The og strawberry scent. Definitely not real strawberries, but strawberry candy. I like it, it's a happy and sweet summer scent. I love to layer it with Yum boujee marshmallow or Bianco latte for strawberry marshmallows or strawberry ice cream. The lasting power in surprising, lasts for days on clothes and many hours on the skin. Impressive for a fruity EdT.

This is a sweet warm fragrance that silently settles on my skin. One has to keep close to smell this scent. The breeze will do some helping for someone to have a whiff of it. I like wearing this in the office. Stays fresh and lasts throughout the day. There's a hint of bitterness or spiciness. Not just an ordinary strawberry but a uniquely blended fragrance.

I really like this, however I do wish that other people could smell it better.. I wore this around my boyfriend and asked him to smell my wrist and he REALLY did love it as well, I’ve never seen him like another scent I’ve used more😅it smells like a sweet strawberry, just wish it would be maybe a bit stronger. I also do need to re-apply it often.

It smells like pure strawberry candy. It lacks any of the sour notes that a real strawberry has so this fragrance is a little too cloying for me. I feels like this is something a teen would wear. It also doesn't last too long. I'm sure if you buy it for someone younger they'd love it.

I normally don't wear this scent on it's own, not because of how it smells-it smells wonderful on is's own, but i prefer it layered. i layer this perfume with a grapefruit one from fresh(i think). when it's layered, it smells more summery and sparkly to me. (just a tip;)

Sweet and lovely, although it does have a slight medicine type note, a bit like Calpol and doesn't last very long. Still it’s hard to feel sad when you smell of strawberries so for me it’s a good, cheap pick me up for the winter blues.

Sugared photorealitic strawberries with a sour after-taste. Like a fizzy.. boiled.. at the same time somehow.. strawberry puree? That's it. It's nice, though. Wish it lasted longer and permeated more. Like a strawberry refresher lowk.

I love this, it's a fresh strawberry scent, sweet but not cloying. I find it a lot fresher than Yves Rocher strawberry. It's great to layer this with flowery perfumes if you want to give them a sweeter quality.

Really yummy, cute and innocent scent. Simple strawberry juice in a not too sweety-sickening way, reminds me more of a cooling body-spray, it is really enjoyable using during a hot summer day.

Definitely more of an artificial strawberry smell, but it’s cute, juicy and sweet. Nothing special but if you want something affordable, juicy and non-complicated this is a good option 🍓

dnd mate says this smells like cough medicine :-( i think he's wrong because to me it smells exactly like the strawberries in my fridge if not a little bit sweeter

This was my first perfume that I owned myself, it is very nostalgic and smells quite nice (It's empty but I still have the bottle, and can still kind of smell it).

this is a super yummy, albeit a little synthetic, strawberry. if you're looking for straight-up strawberry you can't go wrong with this one.

It's a nice smell for a while, but can be a bit overpowering. It usually gives me a headache so I don't wear it often.

I like it, though it's very ''Disney''. It smells like sugared strawberries. Very light and fresh. Perfect for spring

This is okay. I won't repurchase. I have the body mist so it's not very strong. I honestly think Body Fantasies that you can get for $3 at Walmart is better quality than this. I've had plenty from that brand that are super strong and long lasting. This smells like a very watered down strawberry. It's like having a strawberry drink that was overloaded with ice, but all the ice has melted and now it's mostly water. It's sweet but there's a slight green undertone as well, similar to the smell of strawberry leaves. This may be more of a realistic strawberry, but I guess I'm more into synthetic and candy-like strawberry. I need my scents to be sweet and strong. This just doesn't do it for me. All in all, I think I could find something cheaper or around the same price but better quality. Strawberry Soda from BBW is probably what I'll try next because I adore the lotion.

Alone it smells like artificial strawberry (Chewits?) but on skin, it specially if you've sweated a bit, it goes really well. It's very light so there is no risk of over spraying. Sillage and lasting time is not much, on me maybe an hour or less. This is in no way similar to Coach Love, I have both and Coach Love really smells like forest strawberries while this is very artificial. Also it bites the skin a bit, haven't felt this from any other fragrance or body spray.

It doesn't smell like the body butter nor fresh strawberries. It doesn't come close. I grow strawberries every year and adore the body butter. This smells exactly like when you unwrap a cheap strawberry filled bon bons. The green note in the opening is sour and citrusy, it unfortunately doesn't pair well with the candy-like sweetness. Overall, it lasted an hour on cotton fabric and 30 minutes on skin.

i just bought a 30ml bottle of the eu de toilette, and for the price i must say... not really that impressed? single note strawberry, artificial but not unbearably so. it smells like how a generic hand soap would, so i'm not sure if a nurse or kindergarten teacher is the vibe i want to give off when i go out and meet people. haven't tried layering it, but perhaps that will yield better results.

En realidad cumple su función, no lo uso para alguna ocasión especial, ni para la cotidianidad, lo uso para oler bien cuando sé que voy a ir a sudar, lo uso para mis clases de baile o para hacer ejercicio y en vez de oler a sudor, oler a fresas jeje, si me pongo mucho me mareo, sirve y no es desagradable pero hasta ahí.

This perfume reminds me of those strawberry shortcake cartoon mini toys that are scented strawberry - so it's pretty synthetic (has a bit of freshness to it tho) but it's still enjoyable especially if you love strawberry scent. Besides that it barely has any depth to it and it's super sweet, like strawberry candy.

It smells like big, juicy, sweet strawberries - that’s it. As it simply smells like strawberry, I am not sure where and when is the perfect time to wear it. I’ll just spritz this on occasionally after shower, staying at home wanting to smell sweet @ during a short drive to pick up my kids from school 🍓

it smells like a juicy strawberry, kind of acidic, idk. It simply smells of a strawberry, at first I loved it but now I hate it so much, maybe fruity scents are not for me but I love mango scents. Also it barely lasted 5 minutes on me :(
