White Musk For Men

just got this, first spray i am reminded of prada l'homme (even LRB has some similarities with the opening) but a toned down version of it so it's very nice; idk what these other ppl are talking about when they bash this opening it's just like prada, it's freaking awesome and crazy cause this is like 20 bucks and prada scents are 90-110+. This does have a very alcohol-y opening if you compared that to anything prada you would see how cheap this smells with how strong the alcohol is but remember its 20 bucks I havent gotten to the dry down just yet, just had to say what a awesome surprise this has been so far. I sprayed this and was like "Oh dam that's good and awfully familiar and then it hit me 'Prada L'homme just way toned down" (can be a headache inducer though, i learned that after i wrote all this; I sprayed about 8-9 sprays and almost immediately started getting a headache but i think it's because i sprayed 3 neck and 2 shirt it was just too much directly in my scent radar.) dry down so far is becoming a nice creamy tonka based vibe which i am really digging, it's got that powdery touch and some florals too this is what i thought i was getting when i ordered original musk by Kiehl's...Body Shop Version is just way better! it's cheaper it is a bigger bottle and smells better, Dry down is softer but it's still pleasant and it's wicked safe prolly even more safe than prada l'homme imo because of how it really dials back the scent even further ppl will have to be pretty close to you or will have to be semi-close to you when you walk by / past them. It's perfect for office / work imo and because it's so dang chill it's perfect for ppl who are trigger happy and for those who are trigger shy! You can spray this on body parts and not have to really worry too much about overspraying (not sure about on clothes) because it is very light when it dries but still pleasant / pleasing, what a gorgeous surprise! Sorry but this is freakin great and probably my best blind buy purchase of the year! I know everyone noses are different but umm this is so similar to Prada L'homme and so good

I went back and forth with myself about whether to buy this scent or not...until I actually smelled it! For a few years after college, I only wore perfumed oils from TBS (Oceanus, Lilac, Dewbery, Patchouli, etc...)as they were "all natural". Now I know the difference between all natural and natural-based, and I still love this. I am planning on buying a very large bottle of WMfM... On first smelling a sample of this, (Thanks Natt!) I was quite impressed actually. Usually when you see 'White Musk' you expect a single note scent of a clean synthetic musk, here I was greeted with warm, dry masculine geranium with a soft sexy jasmine. I can understand why one reviewer said 'dusty', but it is not dirty like a layer of fine dust over old things-more like the smell of warm dust on a dirt road kicked up by a fresh summer wind. In the drydown, resinous amber and warm tonka beans are mildly sweet, while sandalwood is wrapped in vetiver crating an earthy woodiness. This is quite possibly the best WM creation that I have ever smelled and I would go so far as to call it beautiful, yet it keeps it gentle manliness...exceptional! Sillage: all right Longevity: decent, could be better Overall: 4.25/5 I applied this one evening after dinner, and could not stop smelling myself all night. I smelled it right up to when I went to sleep, but it was undetectable in the morning. A perfect date/night scent when you do not want to overpower someone's senses, but still make a statement. This is a very clean, slightly warm scent that is very gentle and 'down-to-earth' but still sexy and very impressive. Perfect by itself but could be layered with lighter, more foral scents to give them depth. A must have juice for me...

This the cologne by far is my favourite smelling cologne of all time, at least for a musky scent anyway. Whenever I want a quick easy dumb reach for a bottle, this one is my go too. What makes this so great? The musk and lavender. The other notes don’t really stand out to me too much, but this scent is intoxicating. One of my friends who isn’t a fragrance enthusiast like me one day introduced me to White Musk. My dumb self couldn’t comprehend how Bath and Body Works could produce something so amazing. Unfortunately this bottle does have one major flaw, and that the longevity. I get an hour tops, so to counter this I get it on my clothes. This is simply a must have for anyone who appreciates musk driven scents. If this stuff lasted longer, I would have no problems putting it in my top five fragrances. Any woman I’ve worn this around goes crazy for it. Luckily for me it’s fairly cheap, and I just carry around a mini spray and re-apply when needed. What my friend didn’t know is that after I smelled his signature scent, I went to B&B and bought 3 bottles as back up. If anyone has any ideas on a substitute or a way to extend this stuff to last longer, I’ll be waiting patiently in my DM’s. This juice is a winner..

I purchased White Musk in the Summer of 2014 from The Body Shop. Offhand, I find it to be a delightful fresh-musk fragrance that is slightly soapy and clean, and doesn't come across as being even the slightest bit dirty or animalic. White Musk (appropriately named) is a perfect after shower fragrance and something to spray-on when you're just spending an afternoon or evening relaxing around the home. Very nice and completely unisex! White Musk lasts 4-5 hours and sits pretty close to my skin, which is fine for this kind of fragrance. There is no reason to over-analyze this one...it's just a lovely fresh-musk scent that I love wearing while relaxing. What feelings does this fragrance evoke when I wear it? To be honest, it reminds me of Sex in the Shower. So perhaps I misspoke when I mentioned above this fragrance being appropriately named. Such is life. LOL! Finally, if you're into white musk scents but are looking for one that is a bit sweeter, denser and louder...then take a look at Lattafa Raghba Muski. It's quite nice and not expensive. Cheers!

I sniffed White Musk for men at the store when I was looking for a new fragrance. I vaguely remembered reading good reviews of it, and honestly, as soon as I smelled it, I was sold! Even though its meant for guys, I feel that women can carry it off equally well, if not better. This is like the PERFECT sexy, clean, classic scent! I personally find White Musk for women a bit too bland and passe, but White Musk for men has that spicy and robust background, which makes the scent more profound and gives it a heart. It has the same musky and powdery feel to it, but without being boring or dated. It smells young, mysterious, slightly sweet and enticing. The sillage is fairly noticeable yet not loud, the scent remains close to you, emitting an aura of its own. It lasts for about 4-5 hours on me, but given the enormous bottle, I wouldn't mind respritzing it. I strongly recommend you to check it out. For me, its everything I wanted White Musk for women to be, and more.

This is the fragrance equivalent of 'comfort food'. Like comfort food it is soothing to my soul and makes me feel happy and relaxed. I can wear this one even on days when I'm not feeling very well, which is no small achievement! Typical me, even if I'm dying, I can't leave the house unless I smell good! It's one of those familiar smells where you keep thinking 'What the hec does this remind me of?!'. Maybe it's the commonplace notes of jasmine, sandalwood and musk, or the popularity of the female version for many years now. In any case, it is truly lovely. If there are any downsides it's that 'dustiness' which some have mentioned and the poor longevity but small points considering this retails at half the price of a prestige product. Well done Body Shop!

This could easily be mistaken for a female perfume. It's soft, smooth, powdery, clean. Everything you'd want for a day to day or office/work scent. It's the least offensive fragrance I've ever smelled. It's not by any means complex but it has a hidden depth that you'll notice after a few days living with this one. It doesn't require a lot of thinking which is just as well because the silky smooth lavender musk in the opening surrounds you with a cloud of calm, making this a great evening wind down scent. Some may regard this as boring but this isn't a fragrance about making a statement and where many musks have fallen into a pit of over bearing sicklyness, this delicately balanced one comes up trumps and does so in incredibly affordable fashion.

I bought this for my husband because it smelled clean and understated but not "usual". I didn't want a scent that screamed cheap, or a scent that screamed overpriced cosmetics counter concoction. I wanted it to be something that was **him** and something that he would feel comfortable wearing. He's not a flashy guy, he's mid-30's, a working executive. This scent fit those requirements to a "t". It's got this very clean, just got out of the shower thing going on, but when you get close, it's got this really curious unique layer that says "I'm a hot, sexy man. I'm not every guy, and you know you wanna..." Every time I smell it on him, it gets me. But it's a skin scent, so it's like just for me.

White Musk is one of my top favorites. It's like my own catnip. It's so clean, deep, subtly sweet, and fresh without any help from citrus. I tend to spray this on me quite a lot because it's not very strong. Its presence is very mild and well manner. So I can smell all day long without getting bored or sicken. In addition, it's easiest thing to wear in my wardrobe. The price is great and it's easy to find, so I don't hold back on the usage. I literally use day and night, even before bed (like my own aromatherapy session). I really don't see it as for men only because of its softness, so girls should try it too even though there is a woman version available.

My Signature Scent! I Just love it. It's So Clean, So Fresh... without being Citrusy Sour or Aquatic. Just a Clean Fresh Out of the Shower vibe... I've got many complements from this one, but surprisingly, these complements are like, "Wow! your soap/shower gel has so beautiful smell!" Like, you'll smell good, people will notice that you're smelling damn good, but they'll hardly realise, that you are wearing a perfume! they'll think, it's your natural smell! It's longivity is poor, hardly -3 hours, moderate sillage, not very powerful. but I don't care! It's beautiful smell overpowers all it's drwabacks. I carry this, and refresh myself in every 2/3 hours.

Yeah, yeah. The performance on this one is not great. What's the opposite of "beast mode?" This is that. However, it's so good. It's fresh and clean and soothing and relaxing. It's powdery and soft and light. And it serves a very specific purpose in my life. This is the bottle I reach for every time I hop out of the shower in the evening or before I get into bed. I wear this one for me and for no one else. This is how I want to smell when it's just me on the couch with a good book or just me under the covers on a cold night. This is the smell of home.

I like the subtlety of this one. It’s great on its own when I’m not feeling “beastly,” but it also layers well. I have been pairing it with Perry Ellis 360 White (basically Le Male), and I find that it adds a bit of complexity and helps the fragrance to perform a little better. Against PEW, WM gets louder, and I smell it all day. I also like it with Encre Noire Sport. Both have a similar lightness as well as vetiver and musk, so they blend nicely. Also trying it with Tuscany, but not yet sure what I think of the combo.

Amazing fresh, musky, soap/powder and clear scent. Reminds me of the old times, summers, bathrooms and soaps, but it doesn't oldish:) Good for everyone, young or old, men or woman. You can use in hot weather or in spring and also in autumn. I really like it, but the projection and lasting is not enough, very poor:( I would like to spray it all day to smell around me:) update: I enjoy more than Prada Infusion d'ris, I need an edp from White musk with huge sillage and lasting, it could be my signature scent:)

I just bought a bottle of this "MEN" fragrance. For me as a woman, this was the fragrance I was looking for for a nice daytime fragrance. It is just a soft, easy to wear, lovely and a little bit sexy fragrance. I don't know why they made the womans versions so different, now that one I don't like at all. I love how it dries down on the skin and sits on me with the perfect combination between fresh and sensual, whitout being loud. It is so lovely. And the price is just so beautifull too for what I get.

I really like this, especially for the value. Smells so clean, soapy, nostalgic even. Very unisex, springtime cozy-clean scent. Good for laying in bed in a white t-shirt with someone, 10 mins after a shower. Lasts a long time but has a very intimate sillage to be sure. Great price for what you get. I might even order a second bottle of this for my other bathroom. I even really like the bottle, though I'd say the cap is very flimsy especially for how small it is. Purple gradient is gorgeous though.

I really like this! Sexy and seducing scent of musk, yet not inoffensive in any way. I got a sample of the Kublai Khan musk and I found it at times to remind of smelling butt holes. So compared, this one from Bodyshop is a no brainer. And the bottle is beautiful and with very thick glass. And for me it's a plus that it comes as it is on the shelf, not wrapped in meaningless plastic or in a can like some fragrances do. It is also a big plus that this was not tested on animals! And: It's cheap!

Cheap or not, I liked this smell the longer I wore it. I was originally planning on buying Eisenberg's Diabolique, but I saw that someone mentioned this as a "reminds me of", and to half the price of the Eisenberg. Kind of feminine, but with an underlaying masculine vibe. Just like another cheap frag I recently purchased; Playboy Hollywood, which again reminds me of Armani Code. Why pay over doubled the price when you can find cheaper and almost equally nice smelling substitutes?

I am a woman and while I was not a fan of the white musk female version, this version is just perfect for me. Defenitly unisex. I don't smell anything male about it. I love it very much, soft and very sexy skinscent, very well balanced. Not to heavy, not to sharp, I love that that it is fresh and sensual at the same time, will buy my first bottle soon. Reminds me very much of escentric molecules, but this one is way better priced. Smells niche to me. Very inexpensive.

Great, pleasant scent. Definitely a people-pleaser. Can't see anyone disliking this scent, honestly. Longevity is terrible, will be gone within the hour, guaranteed. At $28 retail it is overpriced, considering the pathetic performance. There are frequent promotions however, if you can pick it up for $10 go for it. Otherwise, there are many more fantastic fragrances that can be had for a similar price online with much better performance.

I'm always attracted by the Body Shop's myriad of Special offers, and always by Activist or Kistna, for a change I picked up White Musk. I'm not normally the biggest fan of Musk fragrances, but this is an absolute gem. A strong lavender opening soon mellows into a soapy Musky Sandalwood, it's beautifully blended and soothing. It stays fairly close to the skin, but is a lot of fragrance for the money. Recommended, definitely unisex.

edt. this is rounded, softer, woody clean musk - like clean smokey branches not freshly cut wood. i much prefer this one to the womens one. this has a bit of the dry linen feel through the middle, but is quite different to the womens scnet of the same name. i love this, im a woman, i dont care. its so unisex, ageless, and classic, its comfrting, the aromanics are not sharp her herbal. Gold Star.

This scent is just awesone.....if someone knows a version of this scent that lasts longer, HIT ME UP. We all know it doesn't last long but the precious moments it does last is just far out!!! **Update** 01/07/22 I realized after the review that it's similar to English Laundry Signature. It truly is very close to this fantastic scent. Give it a try, lasts longer too!

Great unisex fragrance, especially considering the price. I’m not a musk lover, some highly recommended musk fragrances are too sharp and one dimensional for my taste, but this musk is just perfect. It’s smooth and round, clean but warm and inviting thanks to tonka bean and sandalwood. Vetiver and geranium gives a touch of smoky bitterness. Longevity - 4-5 hours.

A soothing, gentle and very pleasant fragrance that is unisex in character and packaged in a beautiful bottle. The only downside to this was the projection and the longevity - very little on my skin. I actually found that some body sprays such as Aramis were more potent in their lesser aerosol form. Thus, a 'like' rather than love designation.

Been using this parfume since 2008. + the scent is soft and acceptable either man or woman. + the sillage is soft but when someone near you still can smells the parfume scent - longevity not more than 2 hours on skin, but can last more than 2 hours when spray on clothes Suitable for any beginner parfume user.

This fragrance doesn't scream only lingers. It even seems to linger when you are up close. The moment you come closer you realize you can't capture it because its not really there and it turns into something ghostly intellectual. I like it. This, to me, would be sexy on a man and interesting on a woman, .

For a few months I was convinced that I was in love with this guy, until one day I passed a Body Shop and discovered that thankfully it wasn't him at all. It was this perfume! Man- entirely forgettable. Perfume- mine forever. Sweet-ish, sexy, addictive, the kind of scent that keeps you awake at night.

Probably the closest I've come to a 'signature' - my favourite skinscent. It layers with almost anything, enhances, deepens. I like to wear it on its own sometimes but mostly I use it as a finishing spray on my clothes/hair. Really well done - give it a try! It's gorgeous for men and women.

Pleasant, nice day smell, i use it now and then but actually love it on my husband, its suits him marvellously. He also has a shower gel and i can really smell it on him after half a day. The smell is smooth, warm, soothing and actually i find it very sexy although its nothing luxurious.

I wish this excellent scent had better performance. Soapy and soft but not lemon freshness. Make you feel gentle and sensual. I tried it with dunhill icon, 2spray newmusk+1spray icon, the result was really amazing. I loved it. Agree or not, this scent reminds me of prada infusion.

Apparently this has been discontinued and now goes by blue musk which is supposed to be unisex. It still smells exactly the same though so don't worry white musk for men lovers! Only down side is price stayed the same for a 60ml bottle instead of 100ml like the purple bottle

I've been using this since 2006/7. I can wear expensive or unique fragrances but this one has actually gotten the most genuine compliments from women (and exes.) It's also excellent for trying out a combo with some other fragrance. I hope they never stop making this.

I love/hate this fragrance I love the scent, its sexyness in a bottle! this is how guys should smell like I hate how this fragrance has like literally no lasting power. its very frustrating cuz I love this fragrance but I just cant smell it when its on me

Very clean summer fragrance with 1-2 hours longetivty on skin. I wear it when I do not feel like wearing any fragrance. It does not remind me that I'm wearing anything. I like it because it is light. No sillage. Smells of sandalwood, vetiver, and vanilla.

Every time i spray this fragrance i think of Heavens ! If Heavens has a smell, then it has to smell like this fragrance ! So Chic, so mild, so decent, elegant and quite. Pure love and Joy. I had to purchase two bottles for fear i won't find it again !

Simple, long-lasting (on me that's a rarity) still detectable at mid-afternoon after early morning application, if faintly. Very cosy and definetly unisex. This, activist and summer fig are all excellent. Still making up my mind with red musk.

I love this, it's smokey floral, a touch sweet - dusky, musky without being sweaty, divine, I will get it one of these days, someone else in the family has it already. I think the accords describe it better than I do. I might try layering this

A very fine example of simple white musk indeed. Fresh, clean, well priced and ladies like it too! if you're searching for a cheaper substitute for Dior Homme Cologne, look no further. the performance is a bit disappointing, though...

Great perfume., the notes blend well with each other. Great value for money as well. Love the smell especially the heart notes. Staying power is a bit low though. Tried as many as 10 sprays but still disappears in 4-6 hours.

Pity such a nice smelling fragrance that comes with ABYSMAL performance. Immediate skin scent with 0 sillage. Bought this scented water at $42 and my $2 AXE bodyspray performs better LOL. Will never purchase again.

Its very warm and soft,cozy and slightly cheap.its ok.pretty safe and certainly unisex,not so special but it is cheap anyways,very innofensive,actually quite good,but it doesnt last and has no sillage..

I love this unique scent. It is different from most mainstream male sprays. It's not a safe scent that's for sure but sweet and powdery. Maybe a bit peppery to. Suits late 20 early 30 metro dudes.

So warm, so comforting, so sexy, it's like a musky cocoon. I love it and I love when my husband is wearing it. It inspires confidence. Very musky and woody, excellent lasting power.

i really love the scent, it stays on well and i can smell it myself the whole time but the only issue is that it smells like an after shave cologne.. weird but its addictive

Very,Very......light and short woody scent for men which is all about sandalwood,the smell is very old and classic likes the books in the old library,just a ok scent.

Very good spring/summer scent. Longevity is better than I expected. Great powderey drydown albeit a bit musky. I prefer it over MIP. No complaints here

I do enjoy this fragrance but the performance is mediocre it sticks around for quite a while however it doesn't project it stays a skin scent

One of my all-time favorites. If I had to choose a signature scent this would be it. Very dumb reach and easy to wear. 10/10
