I quite enjoy the Elixirs of Nature line from The Body Shop. This is my second favorite after the white floral "Kahaia." Once sprayed onto the skin, the scent is opened by a slightly overpowering scent of vetiver which then quickly turns soft, green—making this a very green perfume, topped with cedar wood. The cedar here makes the atmosphere smell like the forest: wet, damp, but at the same time clean and elegant. I imagine the beautiful woman present at the meeting, confidently walking outside after the meeting is over, having her day. This perfume lasts a long time on my skin, about 6-7 hours before entering the thin phase of skin scent—even the smell is still there when I want to take a shower. As a connoisseur of green scents, I really enjoy this perfume. Day or night, this perfume is suitable for use at any time. I think if you want to be different from the crowd and have character without being too self-conscious, this is the perfume for you.

I wish I had something very prolific to write about this perfume. It's just so unlike anything I've ever tried. It's so smooth I have a difficulty calling it woody. It's like a woody perfume that's been watered down but not by nothing, but by a tincture with nutmeg in it, something like pure neutral warm musk. It's woody at first, then gently masculine, and the drydown (which sprayed on clothes lasts for a WEEK) is sweetishly woody and evergreen in a seductive and natural way. Gosh I hope my bottle lasts long enough to bore me.

This reminds me of a less complex SJP Stash. Lots of cedar and sandalwood, and it's light enough to wear in the summer. I like it a lot.

This is lovely! Soft, smooth cedar and spicy vetiver with a hint of sweetness and citrus from the bergamot. Smells much, much more niche than the price tag lets on. Settles into the skin so nicely. Definitely a true unisex scent. This was a blind buy in my search for more autumnal scents, and I was worried it would smell a bit funky, as I've found that in the past with cedar/patchouli scents, but I can't detect patchouli here (thankfully). It's very fresh and clean.

Just tried this, its very close to Terre D'Hermes. Its a bargain but probably a bit less complex, but hey, not bad. ⛤⛤⛤⛤

Discontinued, and you didn't miss out. I hoped it would be clearly cedary, or cypressy. It's not. It's dominated by this stuffy/dusty, almost a little cigarette ash-y accord I recognize from some other scents marketed as unisex and a bit niche-y (like Le Couvent's Porto Bello). Might be the artemisia note, plus rather generic dry woods. But also, a watery-fresh note shows up that just smells so The Body Shop to me. Weird weird combo. Still, that all sounds more interesting than (I feel) it is.

Top notes are fresh, spicy, a little bit aquatic. When I first bought it I imagined it would dry down to a nice vetiver, but I find it overwhelmingly cypressy on the drydown, like I've been digging up someones hedge all day. Not for me, but if you like that sort of thing this might be for you. Or it might have to do with my skin reacting to it in that way.

Out of all of the line, this is my favourite. There is something unforgettable about the notes, vetiver and the woods blend are so gorgeous, not cheap. TBS has this tendency of their fragrances, usually not my cup of tea but if there is one that caught my attention I'd addicted, but usually those are the one that sells unwell so sometime it got discontinued like Italian Fig which is the dupe for Diptyque Philosykos. Too bad I didn't want to get my hand on this because this is so overprice in my country as it sold for $50/30ml. I rather spend on my money on Aigner's Cara Mia for 100ml with same amount of money.

Oh, ok. This is an option for those who love *vegetal-green* and earthy scents in the Terre d'Hermes or even Eau Gentiane by Hermes family. A *dill-note* along with the sage create a botanical cologne. This is not the seductive kind, not really vetiver-chic and something that frankly to me can sometimes feel like the smell your clothes get after cooking vegetables with herbs. Don't get me wrong, this can also be refreshing or nerve-calming on the right person. But it is kinda tricky, in the way those Hermes scents are.

This was a blind buy at TJMaxx, and cheap, but I love cedar and took a chance. I really like it - fresh and resinous without being too heavy or smelling like sawdust. The drydown is warm and close to the skin, very cosy. I like it for cool days when I'll be out and about.

This is a fragrance which smells really really green/ fig like compared to other more expensive ones. It smells expensive though. I would compare this to that diptyque fig one... I couldn't make my mind up between about 3 in this range so will purchase them all!!!

ehh..not for me. Too much cedar and it has to be that Artemisia note that doesn't work with my chemistry. I smell the alcohol that they used in this and it burns my nose. I may use this as a linen spray because it does pack a punch.

This is a new perfume called "The Elixir Of Nature by body shop". It comes in 5 different scent. But I like this one better than the rest. This truly is successfully captured the nature scent well.

Forget the dumb comparison to Terre'd Hermes, not similar at all! If you like this but can't find it due to discontinuation, buy L'Insoumis Lalique, now that's called almost IDENTICAL!

Snift this @BS counter, and I like it very much. Similar with Yves Rocher Cuir Vetiver, sweet spicy vetiver.

I wonder if this new Body Shop Collection will be available in the USA market????
