Zinzibar

This line of fragrances included Amorito and Chymera, to name a few. The idea was to mix and match to create a custom scent. I love this scent, and have been rationing my half bottle for a few years.... Fahrenheit for ladies, at a fraction of the price!

The Body Shop ZINZIBAR is a bright and refreshing, somewhat peppery aromatic fragrance that seems to be intended for men or as unisex, given the characteristic notes present. Although ZINZIBAR has a bit of a bracing quality upon initial spritz, the edt is relatively shortlived, making this seem more like a cologne to me. The clean citrus and ginger are brisk and invigorating but evaporate in a flash. I recommend this fragrance for men and women to use on hot summer days. It definitely has a cooling and rejuvenating effect, in addition to smelling pleasant and fresh.

This was a spicy citrus with a nice wood base. It was spicy and refreshing at the same time! I remember I didn't utilize this much until the wintertime, when I think the spices really sing in the cold, and we want pumpkin pie, chai tea, and gingerbread cookies. I never owned a 30ml bottle, just the small sample that came in the original invent your scent kit. I'm certain now that my nose has matured I would be able to appreciate this scent even more ;)

Spicy and bright! I loved this one when mixed with Beleaf or Minteva from the same collection. Peppery and red, with a barely detectable zingy citrus note. Unlike most spicy fragrances, this one is NOT resinous or cloying. Love it.

I'm not surprised nobody loves this fragrance. Its just citrus, citrus, ginger, pepper. I still wear it though, but thats probably because nobody else does and I don't wanna be wasteful; besides, its not terrible, still tolerable but its so typical. It has a sharp smell, citrusy-gingery smell, that I just don't like and gives me a slight head-ache. I absolutely can love spicy fragrances, just not this one.

i just bought it, afterwards found out that it's discontinued - really a pitty since it is so nice. maybe not for everyone- it is light, subtle, uncomplicated - but has such great longvity and body. it is energizing but without being citrusy. it is not so spicy as it seems more aromatic. but at the same time it becomes more freesia woody without loosing the aromatic feel...the pepper is not prominent to my nose. whereas the subtle ginger is just great. i will buy again since it is a great choice for summer...for both gender btw

I bought this perfume unsniffed because I liked the other perfumes they were selling for "2 for £ 12" back then. But I really do not like this frag. Of course I tried it and I thought that maybe there is something wrong with MY nose but my male best friend once asked me if I had bathed in cough medicine and since then I have only worn Zinzibar when I was actually sick. I do believe that it could smell fresh and cool with the right skin chemistry but Zinzibar is just too much for me.

I have an almost full bottle if anyone is interested shoot me a message. I recently bought a vintage bundle off Mercari with some rarities.

Use this to kick up a blah oriental. I also like to layer it with Henri Bendel Orange Flower. Lovely wintertime mood booster!

It's been a long time since I've had a bottle of this, but I remember it being a little too spicy.
