Big Thumbs up to you Esteban747: I too I'm so tired of that over-used and rather senseless cliche: "smells like pledge".,,., duh........ And........?!?! Gorgeous frag, weak on longevity and projection...., but interestingly the sillage is quite good on me.....?!?! Perhaps the heat my body generates causes it to radiate from my body very nicely..... To my knowledge, Jean-Claude Ellena had a hand in starting this company..... Based on his DNA, his blending and the quality natural ingredients he uses, it's unrealistic to expect monster projection and longevity on his frags, especially the citrus-based ones.... Oh yeah, one more thing: YES, it is a very very close cousin of Cologne Bigarade, the nose behind which is..........?????? You guessed it!

The Different Company Limon de Cordoza is centered around the eponymous note of lemon and other citrus, but touched with bits of mint, vetiver, gaiac, freesia, and neroli. It's predictably fresh, overall quite light, and nuanced, sharpened by the mint and vetiver, specifically, which prevent the fragrance from drifting into "citrus-only" or "juicy, sweet citrus" territory. It feels fresh but classy, exuberant but reserved, making for a versatile offering as far as gender and age. Pricing of $125 for 100ml walks the line between being excessive for the lack of performance and just right for a perfume of fine quality and energy, and a rather useful warm weather option. 7 out of 10

Beautiful frag! Was what i looking for a long time. Lemon lemon lemon and more lemon! Simple as that. In the end/drydown, a little bit of patchouli and vetiver. 10/10.

It's lemon, no doubt about it. I like citrus scents, especially lemon. So, I'm tired of this comments about "smelling like furniture cleaning product", "bathroom cleaner", "floor cleaner", etc. Yes, household cleaning products usually smell like lemon, so what? The opening is quite a blast of lemon, as if you open your door and somebody squeeze a lemon right in your face. But it quickly (very so) calms down, becoming smooth, almost creamy. Then gets soapy. I guess this is a nice summer or spring fragrance. It's fresh, clean and light. I only wish the opening blast of lemon would last longer, because it truly develops fast and sooner than you may expect the drydown is here.

Limon de Cordoza is very nice. It opens with citrus and mint. There's a beautiful combination of bitter orange and mandarin that feels lemony with the mint and freesia. It's very light and uplifting. The sillage is intimate after about 20 minutes. It's suitable for day wear in the spring and summer. The perfume is a lovely blend and very elegant. The vetiver and wood comes into the background after 20 minutes or so. 35 minutes in it's a combination of citrus, grass and mint. It reminds me of Carthusia's Mediteranneo except that Limon de Cordoza is done after about three hours whereas the Carthusia lasts longer. Both are fully genderless and unisex.

Begins lemonesque, although not quite enough to ring true, with a touch of crisp mint. Within a few minutes the mask fades and we see it is really orange in character. I appreciate the fragrance not becoming too woody in the base as is so often the recipe with citrus scents. A friendly, summer intensity fragrance but with very poor longevity.

Very nice, summery, refreshing orange scent! It's very subtle. Office safe for 100%. It does not change at all. After many hours I can still smell the fresh orange opening. However, stillage is very soft. Basically, it's a typical skin-scent.

I have personally 3 frags in my collection which are skin scents and they remain up to 4 hours on skin but on wardrobe for longer and I love them. This one is nice but it is sooo weak its almost like lemonesque water. Better buy 4711 which has better performance.

This smells like lemons. Big time. A huge, zesty burst of lemons. This will make it reminiscent of cleaning products since they tend to use lots of lemon for their scents. No big deal. If people are writing honest reviews, they'll say if a frag reminds them of something else. If it reminds someone of Lemon Pledge, then that's what they think of when they smell it, so obviously they'll say so in a review. There's no need for any fuss to be made about that. There's a hint of a sweet orange underneath the lemon and a hint of carefully used pepper than doesn't make this tickle the nose, but instead just adds a bit of oomph to all that citrus. The vetiver is very noticeable, but I can't say I get any patchouli or woods. It leans too masculine for my personal taste, but I could see this working really well on a guy in the summer. It's bold and sparkling, but the vetiver offers a kind of cool shrug which makes it more nonchalant than most citrus scents I've tried. It's pretty linear and longevity isn't wonderful (3-4 hours). Overall, a nice, masculine citrus that offers something a little new for citrus lovers but doesn't last long enough to be worth the price.

Bitter orange green wood patch Nice tart bitter opening citrus leading into an abstract green floral woody base with accents of earthy patchouli. Slightly nondescript spicy. The patch immediately grounds this as leaning masculine in my head but your perception of it may vary. Although nicely executed, the issue I face with it is somewhat the absence of character, particularly in the vast world of woody citrus, there is little to grasp on. I was really hoping for more freesia or mint. Particularly for the high end price. I would recommend Eau/Concentre d’orange Verte for a better evocation of green citrus with a bolder limey green character. Any of the many Elena creations pin points bitter orange more realistically. Finally for minty lemony citrus the new AdP Buongiorno has you fully covered.

Fresh fragrance that has the name of a lemon but there is no trace of it, even Cordoza does not exist, it is an imaginary city that takes inspiration from two cities in Argentina... Cordoba and Mendoza! We come to the very fresh fragrance with a deep initial citrus scent accentuated by a light hint of mint, it becomes a delicate floral where a clean and crystalline neroli accentuates its soul, the finish remains soft and delicate with a barely whispered hint of wood, perfect for those who love citrus perfumes and colognes, the duration despite being a citrus/floral is remarkable, a very pleasant unisex

I was taken aback a bit by the Lemon Pledge opening of The Different Company LIMON DE CORDOZA, but it clears out fairly swiftly. leaving behind more of a mixed citrus scent with just a touch of sweetness. The drydown offers a detectable albeit light waft of patchouli. I compared this fragrance side-by-side with Annick Goutal EAU D'HADRIEN, and the latter seemed more complex and appealing to me. It also had much better longevity. Still, the combination of notes in LIMON DE CORDOZ is interesting enough to warrant testing by amateurs of citrus scents.

Sourish lemon and green minty nuances on a soft woody base. Personally, when it comes to hesperidic fragrances, I prefer either more classic takes on the main theme such as several Guerlain's Eaus, Eau D'Hadrien, Chanel's Eau De Cologne (to name a few), or more avant-garde iterations a-la Comme Des Garcons Soda. With that said, Lemon De Cordoza is a nicely blended, inoffensive lemony cologne but is as exciting as lukewarm water. Rating: 6.5/10

Used a sample of this: I loved this stuff. It was a freshly cut grass mixed with lemon with a great patchouli dry down. Sadly, this is probably the most fleeting scent I have ever come across. After the beautiful opening, the patchouli dry down comes in approximately 15 minutes later and it's very faint. What a disappointment. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 1/10 Sillage: 1/10

Masculine scent with mucho lemon right out of the gate...but kindof like lemon over grilled meat. Has a very Greek kitchen feel (perhaps the combo of lemon and mint?). Caught just a whiff of what I think is the sweet woodiness of guaiac but it didn't last; notes list neroli but I didn't pick that up at all. A definite no on me, but at least it isn't boring!

Really really really love the smell, however, it's the same with Tokyo Bloom, it won't last.
