Accidental Vanille

Easily the best of all the Vanilla fragrances put out by Dua imo, It’s a dupe of my favorite vanilla fragrance “Jousetts Accident de Vanille”, and it’s just as good. Unlike most vanilla fragrances whose additional notes overwhelm the vanilla, this one is pure sweet vanilla, like melted vanilla ice cream. I find Dua does Jousset fragrances well. Jousset is my favorite gourmand fragrance house, please continue to put out Jousset dupes so I can save some money.

Smells like Werthers Originals or caramel cooking on the stove. No artificial notes.

I layer this with Dua's version of Angels Share, and I think they have a hybrid of the two mixed. But this smells great and last a decent amount of time 6Hrs.

I bought this on my hunt to find a genuine realistic vanilla scent. But this smells like synthetic sweet buttered popcorn.

I like it. Its a bit too sweet and feminine for my tastes, but thats what its going for so you cannot really fault it for that. I think it does what it sets out to do very well To me the vanilla in this reminds me a bit of kuumba vanilla bean, nebras, and eilish. It comes across as a "cold" vanilla - more lactonic and milky, such as vanilla found in baked desserts, rather than a "warm" vanilla thats deep and ambery like you would get from extract or fresh vanilla pods. It lasts a loooong time (duh, Dua definitely doesnt skimp on the concentrations of oils), and as it dries down I definitely detect the buttery, cookie/cake notes in it. Its also a straight forward enough vanilla that it would be great for layering. I would definitely enjoy smelling this on a woman, and I may find use for layering it with more masculine scents myself. As always, with clone houses (and Dua's freshly mixed fragrances), it will probably benefit from maceration and I'm expecting it to change over time

Incredible rendition! I have both and they smell identical! I dare to say Dua’s version has better performance - it’s projecting way more than Jousset’s. Congrats again to this amazing house! They nailed it once again!
