Ancient Leather

Dry down is very very similar: warm, dusty, cozy, mineral, brown, earthy amber underpinning photorealistic leather clarified by conifer and violet. This is not as strong as the OG (Which I've sampled), which isn't saying much because the OG is the most nuclear beauty I've ever smelled IRL. I have other Dua scents that are stronger than this: Cupbearer and Leather of the Ages have bigger projection and longevity. Not sure If I catch all the notes, but this is extremely wearable and hunky from start to finish. Not as nasty or funky as the original opens, which is the only let down if you're into that. Easily the best leather I've ever smelled. I would put this on in the morning because I wouldn't want to get in bed until several hours after I've applied this. Maybe I don't want to smell like a hot saddle in summer heat, but I'd wear this any day or occasion: doesn't feel formal or nuclear.

I've had this sitting around for about six months. I'd take it out and do little sprays on my arm every once in a while, so I had an intellectual understanding that it's strong stuff. Then last night I decided to wear some to bed. Did three sprays to the neck and Holy Crap! This stuff is totally ridiculous!! It's a whole experience wearing this. It made my nose burn a little! It calmed down a little after maybe half an hour? Not enough to be out in public but enough so that it didn't hurt anymore. When I woke up it was still going strong. I don't know how close this is to OG but it absolutely matches descriptions Ive read. I love the smell but I don't know if I'll ever wear it out and about. I'd have to be feeling pretty brave.
