Bet on Green

Going by my bottle after pumping/aereting and leaving it sit in the dark for over a month. Con: 1. Does not particularly resemble Polo. More resembles (believe it or not) Beverly Hills Polo Club 'Rogue,' itself an crude, unsophisticated, but not terrible homage to Polo. If you blindfolded me, I'd tell you that this is Rogue. If you said it's supposed to be a well-crafted dupe of Polo, I would not believe you. 2. On me it doesn't last long. At all. 3. Brief, slight burning sensation on the skin when applied. Pro: 1. It's a dialed down, soapy-smoky-green that won't overwhelm, choke out, or otherwise upset anyone. And that's the only pros I have. I'll give it more time. If it improves, I'll update because fair is fair. But at this point: Is Dua BET ON GREEN unwearable? No (apart from the harsh burn). Disappointing? Yes, but only when compared 1 to 1 against Polo. Is it an adequate substitute for Polo? My bottle is not. Just layer Quorum and Paco Rabanne to get much the same effect, or buy Rogue. Either way you know going in that they won't get you Polo. Neither will this. Is it worth it? As it's own thing, maybe. As a dupe to make people, and yourself, think you're wearing Polo? No.

Allright so i made a review of this calling it trash, garbage ect. I deleted it because i think i was unfair...in a sense. This doesnt smell like polo green at all, still stand by that 100%. Not even like new formula polo green, and the only reason i bought it is the hopes of using less of my cosmair juice. However, it technically isnt "trash" in the sense that it actually does smell really good, just not like polo at all. If they had released this on its own as an independent creation, id be like holy crap they really nailed it, trying to make a new 80s fragrance in the 2020s! So yeah, weirdly enough this is a terrible polo green clone that doesnt smell like its source material.....but its not terrible in general.

I wore the original Polo a long time ago in high school. Recently, I was in Sephora and smelled the current formula. It doesn't smell good at all. When I read all the glowing reviews about this, I purchased a bottle. What a disappointment. It doesn't smell anything like the original. Instead, it smells just like Bogart's One Man Show. Nothing but green. No soap, no smoke, nothing but green. I wrote a negative review and submitted it to the Dua site, but they have yet to publish it. I doubt they ever will.

When I put my nose directly on where I sprayed i get more Quorum than Polo Green but as I catch whiffs of it in the air it does smell a little like Polo Green. Edit: So I bought the Classic Match version at Walmart and honestly this stuff isn't much better than that. Neither have that soapiness under all the green notes its just all the green notes, which is probably why it smells more like Quorum than Polo to me.
