Bright Sunny Day

This is in the same soapy, bright kind of aldehydic - sour league as Musk Therapy, Montblanc Signature, DUA Princeless Therapy, and the more soapy type like JS Fancy Love / Bella Essence Ocsar De La Renta, but without the intensely sour sweetness of other perfumes in the musky aldehydic sour league that are additionally very sweet-sour like Pepe Jeans London for her and Amo Ferragamo, maybe Yara too since they list it as a Pepe Jeans for Her dupe. This is way better than all the above as it doesn't become overly sour as if it has ambroxan, but instead develops a vanilla - orris powdery sweetness, while the soapy element comes from the coconut so it is more creamy. The amyris makes it sour and solar, but the opening has a beautiful balsamic effect and the musk mallow adds a smooth creamy depth to the ethereal jasmine so it never becomes astringent or too aldehydic and too sour. So this is a creamy fresh solar scent with sweet cozy depth as contradicting as it sounds. It performs great in super cold weather - I wore it on a snowy day - and it is equally amazing in the heat. In the cold it releases its vanilla more while staying soapy and fresh. I usually dislike such sour aldehydic soapy scents, even though I love soapy scents - it's the aldehydic sour part that I dislike - but this is the best in this league.

This scent makes me happy. I purchased the Dua dupe first. I liked it so much that I purchased JHAG Sunny Side Up. To my surprise, I actually like the Dua interpretation better. It's slightly sweeter and "brighter". I wear this one when I need an emotional pick-me-up. It just has that effect on me.
