Carnival De Dua

Trying to make this one grow on me. I don’t really get much of any of these notes but I don’t with many DUAs unfortunately. Idk why I keep trying them lol. I guess because I’ve gotten some great ones but I’ve gotten more that didn’t meet my expectations than have.

It smells like an Avon lotion. I will let this macerate to see if it improves. I don't get any gourmand vibes from this.

First whiff was nothing but pure alcohol. This quickly transitions into a sweet celery scent. I let it macerate for several months and the only thing that changed was the alcohol smell reducing ever so slightly. A definite DUA "no."

Absolutely disgusting. I have never enjoyed anything from this company. He knocks off small niche perfumers and has oils made and simply adds alcohol to them. He quickly bottles them up and sends them out to his brainwashed followers and expects the consumers to let them sit for months to macerate. He's a factory and nothing more.... buy knock-off oils, add alcohol, bottle, ship, repeat. He's a hack... and a poor one at that.

This smells like habanero peppers and rubbing alcohol. Butterscotch sauce, milky coconut magic and raspberry white chocolate bouche de Noel all have that nasty rubbing alcohol and spicy pepper sear your nostrils smell and there’s no rhyme or reason to it. The only notes they share I have in other dua’s that I absolutely love. It makes no sense. So each blind buy is a total gamble. This is NOT BLIND BUY SAFE. It’s horrible!

Everything Gourmandlover19 said is true! This smells nothing like the fragrance notes. It smells like chemicals and maple syrup that's going rancid. I had it for 5 or 6 months macerating and it never got better. Not a safe blind buy!

The fragrance smells nothing like the notes! I have been fooled! If you look at my profile you can tell what kind of fragrances I’m into and this looked like something I would love because the notes look like a gourmand lovers dream but the scent smells like expired maple syrup and musk. No cotton candy. No ice cream, no marshmallow, ABSOLUTELY NO VANILLA. It’s just maple syrup vibes and I believe it’s the caramel not done well. Not a safe blind buy at all! Plus I’ve had this fragrance in my collection for a month so it’s been sitting and macerating...still the same nasty scent.

To my nose, this smells very similar to Mahni Cassonade. In the fragrance profile, they do not list musk or sandalwood but I detect it. The opening is also Polo Sportish with caramel popcorn notes.

Dua fragrances are TERRIBLE! Yuck!
