Couture Crumbled

I have done this side by side, on skin with the original. To my nose, it’s a 95% dupe. The differences are that Couture Crumbled (DUA dupe) is much stronger (a huge win!) and has a stronger pastry note than the original. The pastry is balanced 50/50 with the jammy notes in the DUA dupe. This is super satisfying to my nose. In Crumb Couture (original fragrance), the pastry note hits the nose first, then the blueberry jam. It also lasts about 15 minutes on skin, then settles down into a ‘barely there’ skin scent. Dua is much richer. I often spray this on after the shower at night time, go to sleep, and can still smell remnants on my skin in the morning. It’s strong, fragrant, non cloying, non headache inducing. It makes me feel like I’m being served a fresh, warm pastry with blueberry compote slathered on top. It’s on a plate in front of me and I am helpless not to salivate. Worthy of a blind buy if you enjoy gourmands!

I'm not a big "dupe" person, and I have the original... I decided to try a few Dua's as they have great sales (don't pay more than $23 for this with sales!), plenty of hype and joining the Facebook groups has been fun... This one is a winner - it really does smell like the Snif version, with way better sillage, however, I don't get the berry jam smell you get in the original... So it's a good 90% close... I agree it's good to do research on Duas as they tend to release too many fragrances too fast (I recommend the FB groups!) and don't do sample sizes, so you know they cannot all be winners.

I've tried quite a few dua fragrances. I've liked most and loved a couple. This one is nothing short of amazing. I prefer it over the og. Couture Crumbled smelled amazing from the time I first sprayed it. It didn't need any 'maceration' time. This fragrance is a rich, sweet gourmand. It has prominent croissant and vanilla notes. There's a touch of berries that balances out the sweetness. This is so yummy. I've been wanting to wear it everyday. Performance is solid. It's well worth $33. Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 8.5/10 Overall Experience: 9/10

I love this one so much that I have 2 BUBs. ♥️😁 Not too woody, like the OG becomes on my skin, but creamy, sweet, a bit fruity and bready. Fantastically realistic, which I usually hate, but love in this one.

I’ve tried many Dua gourmands and the majority are not great, but this one is actually quite good. It’s very close to the original...however, I find the croissant note to be a bit more muted in Dua’s version.

This reminds me of Chic Issime Ulric de Varens which is a very powdery rose scent very heady balsamic floral scent and it has Tonka and some sour pear in it like this one has Tonka and black currant which is a sour note too. The wild berries jam in this gives a powdery sweet balsamic scent similar to the rose/amber of Chic Issime Ulric de Varens a little less heady. The toasted vanilla is prominent as a deep smooth vanilla veil and balsamic too so it adds to the balsamic powderiness of the jam and to the buttery lactonic effect of the croissant note which is not bready so I disagree with those who say it's bready. Nothing smoky here from the toasted vanilla, just a deep balsamic vanilla scent blending with the rich Tonka in this powdery scent. The croissant note here provides the smooth almost lactonic buttery effect of it similar to the buttery effect of the french pastries note in Live Irresistible Delicieuse and the puff pastry note Pate Feuilletee note in Caramel Apple Turnovers which is a rose-free apple dupe of Delicieuse. So the croissant is not behaving like a baked goods realistic scent like the BBW baked goods scents of Graham cookies, pastries, pies, waffles etc. It's just a buttery element here which explains why some people don't like this perfume and it's reminiscent of the buttery smooth quality of Chic Issime UdV. It's not like the Live Irresistible Delicieuse scent tho which smells like DUA's Caramel Apple Turnovers with a cherry-almond like balsamic effect. So yea no baked goods note here, just a deep vanilla- balsamic and smooth butter-like scent with a rose-like balsamic warm scent more berry-infused, similar to Chic Issime UDV, but not as pungent rose-heavy and as powdery cuz that one has the warm labdanum amplifying the warmth and the powpodery iris. They smell quite identical tho esp in the projection, this being a lighter version more wearable. I acquired Chic Issime as a kid in Europe and I liked how unique it is but it was too much balsamic powder for me. This is very similar so perfect for winter. Not sure if down the line it will morph into something less balsamic and powdery and more gourmand like actual croissant but for now It's not what I expected it to be. Not bad tho since I wanted a lighter substitute for Chic Issime.

such a rich delicious realistic fresh baked flaky croissant with the tiniest hint of captain crunch berries cereal, drizzled in a decadent blueberry sauce, beyond realistic and naturally sweet on clothes it reads more croissant for me, but on skin I get more of the berries coincidentally, and this was purely unintentional, I had accidentally layered this on clothes with chopard agar royal and the combo smelled like the most realistic taro bun I've ever smelled

Rich and Bready AF. I returned Crumb Couture out of sheer Dissapointment with the performance. Crumb couture is beautiful upon first spray but then dries down to Nothing! This DUA Dupe is much richer and lasts, it’s perfect to layer with VS Pinks Buttery sugary❤️

Smells literally like bread. I mean idk what I was expecting but I can't smell any note besides the bread. Why would anyone want to smell like literally bread? Just no lol

This smells out of this world good like buttery croissants with blueberry jam 8+ hours beast mode projection.

Nevermind it stinks...just like almost every other Dua fragrance
