Divine Apple

An apple candy shower gel scent, IMHO. Starts with a synthetic lemony green apple that isn't horrible but doesn't stick around, either. Like a fleeting sour apple Jolly Rancher, then after just 1-2 minutes it becomes generic green rest-stop soap. There's something sharp and a little musty for the duration, which luckily isn't long. Disappointing, this is my third try at a Dua fragrance and no winners. So far they've all come off like inexpensive body sprays at best. 🍏 **EDIT**: 🍎 The reviews are right, saying to let the Dua scents sit for a while. I have 6 Dua's now and was unimpressed with the whole lot at first. After a few weeks with some sprays missing, I've changed my mind about all but 1 (the Apple Cherry Blossom one still isn't working for me). This one is now a fresh, citrusy apple musk; it's a grown up version of Bella by Nina Ricci. Bella is all tart and sweet, very young with body spray quality. Once it wakes up, Divine Apple has the white musk needed to turn that girly body mist into a women's perfume. This really grew on me, and it's affordable enough to use whenever I need a quick refresh. 🍋 🍏 The bottle is simple and the perfect size for tossing into a gym or work bag. Longevity is about 4 hours on skin, longer on clothes. A casual scent for sure, but perfectly respectable for adult women. Just let it sit for a bit first, it does make a difference.

This is pretty! I can understand the high end shampoo comparisons but to me this is more vintage perfumy than just shampoo. It reminds me in a way of the good old days of Escada perfumes, so it’s vintage in that sense but in a good way. It’s definitely fruity but I can’t pick out individual notes, it’s floral and I do kind of get the freesia more than the rose. I don’t get the vanilla at all. Over all, this is really pretty. I think it would be gorgeous mixed with Dua therapy, purity of musk and even juicy pear! Really happy with this blind buy
