Dua on Lafayette St.

I know people hate dua, but after maceration this is by far the best lafayette street clone. The only clone that gets the dry down right. Goes on sale for $35 sometimes, and it is a must buy at this price. 10/10

This juice is awesome. Although I have not sampled the Bond No. 9 fragrance for me to provide a comparison, this is a very manly scent that has drawn a few compliments for me. Smell ya later you stinky bastards.

This is really good. Its really close to Bond #9 Lafayette St. I have received compliments on this and I haven't let it macerate yet.

This smells almost identical. I will NOT be repurchasing Lafeyette St from Bond no 9 anymore. Dua nailed it!

Not my normal goto type of fragrance, but I wanted to give the DNA a shot since so many people seem to like it. Variety us the spice of life and all that. I have not smelled Lafayette Street and did not want to pay bond no. 9 prices for something I was not sure i was going to like. I have had good experiences with dua in the past and most of the reviews say this is really close so I gave it a shot. Sometimes with dua you have to spray it a couple times and let it sit for about a month. So at first I did not like the opening to this at all but the drydown was nice. The opening was very floral, sharp, and a little feminine. I gave it a month or 2 and tried it again this week. The opening is way better and it smells high quality. It is still floral but a soft masculine kind of floral. The woods and vanilla are mellow and really nice. Casual to office situations and feels grown up but still kinda fun. It is pretty strong so I go light on the sprays when going to the office, but I cant see this offending anyone. I have worn it the last couple of days and I think it is perfect for the rainy/ cool spring weather I am currently having. Would work well in early fall. Maybe a bit heavy for high heat. I really like this, maybe not a love but that's more my particular tastes and not the fragrance's fault. I am glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried this. I consider this a successful blind buy and will work this into my rotation.
