Dua Therapy

The accords listed above describe it to a T. Citrus, musky, powdery, floral, fresh spicy. I think it’s very pretty and I’m picky about musk. I don’t care for most of NR or SJP Lovely. I wonder if the people hating actually like those musks or just don’t care for musks period. My problem with most musks are the indolic white florals. You won’t find that here, but I could see some seeing it as dated or old fashioned. It is quite nostalgic and is reminding me of some popular musk from the 80’s or 90’s, but I don’t know which. I’m happy to have this in my collection and see why it’s sold out often. Pretty, soft, calming and clean cozy. Edit: My bottle is gently used so possibly more mature than other reviews on here. That can explain a lot with Dua and ME perfumes. It’s really giving soft, white clean cotton blanket. Definitely therapeutic.

Screechy bathroom cleaner? I hear this phrase all the time from people getting paid to write negative reviews. I owned 3x samples of Musk Therapy and I must say Dua did an excellent job. After 2 weeks of maturation this thing is beast mode. The quality in this fragrance is better than any other middle eastern brand. I say this is about 85% close to Musk Therapy. MT has more of an ozonic opulent vibe with a touch more of black currant. This is no slouch. This thing leaves a long scent trail.

I'm not a fan of musk. I don't hate it, but predominantly musk fragrances usually are just okay for me. So, I did not expect to love this. And yet somehow I do. I love it so much that I ordered Initio's Musk Therapy too. This is inoffensive and an easy grab. Good performance and actually got me compliments! I don't know how to describe it other than it's a very pleasing scent. Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 6/10 Overall Experience: 8/10

I LOVE this. It’s so clean and feminine. It layers beautifully with so so many fragrances - from other clean, musky scents to Ariana Grande Cloud Pink - that’s actually one of my favorite layering combos. It anchors the fruitiness and the clean notes perfectly. Really one of my favorite duas and that says something bc I’m truly a gourmand girly and this is a clean girl fragrance

I agree with the comment below 100%. dua tried to go beast mode with a soft scent and made a mess. if you want a more well-rounded clone, go with Game of Spades topaz. great longevity but doesn't project as much as dua but truthfully that is not a good thing if you smell like cleaning products

as a guy, i love this. clean, very close to the og, def unisex

I guess this is where I have to use the "beast mode" expression for the first time ever. This is a well-done contemporary scent in the super sweet floral fashion, and those who appreciate such will undoubtedly enjoy this. For me: it was so strong - "beast mode" - that even one or two sprays on my skin becomes cloying after awhile. I enjoyed my bottle as more of a room and linen fragrance. Still, there's no question about the quality or the very pleasant scent profile.

Great Musk Therapy Dupe! Projects and lasts.

This surprised me but not in a good way. I’d heard good things about Dua Therapy, but it’s awful to my nose. Smells like screechy, synthetic bathroom cleaner. Strong bergamot, very sour and synthetic. Musk is synthetic and bitter smelling. I don’t get any black currant or sandalwood. And I can just faintly detect heliotrope and magnolia if I focus on finding them. This is not balanced or smooth. (Analysis from putting on my clothes. I didn’t spray on my skin). The only good thing I can say about this perfume is it lasts a long time. I’ll probably use it as a room spray to trick people into thinking I cleaned before they came. lol Update: I sprayed on my skin. It’s slightly sweeter on skin. I’d rate it as dislike on clothing and ok on skin.

This is the first Musk Therapy dupe I try and can say I’m not fully disappointed. The Dua version is about 85% similar to the original and they even perform the same for me. This perfume lasts about 4 hours on skin and lingers on clothes the whole day. It’s not super potent, but you can catch the scent throughout the day. In terms of the scent, Dua’s version is a lot more citrusy and a bit synthetic compared to Musk Therapy, but still creamy, cozy, and pleasant to wear everyday.

Dua really comes through most of the time, but this is a disappointing miss. Musk Therapy is way smoother and the black currant is far more pronounced. I barely get any black current with this. Dua's version is more of a strong citrus musk, but it's not better. Sometimes they're better and correct flaws, but Musk Therapy was already perfect. Hopefully, it will develop some as it sits, but it seems unlikely.

I guess I got a good batch because my bottle is 1:1 and I have a bottle of Musk Therapy. I think Dua did a great job a capturing the profile. Same nice aroma that seems extremely balanced with that musk/floral/fruity scent. Projection is above average also, I get close to 10hrs and can still detect the fragrance with no effort.

does this make anyone else's head explode? it's so strong, i actually think it has crossed the line into unbearable. however.. it is a nostalgic and comforting scent. like the smell of every shampoo i have used in my life plus every blanket. so weird. i love it and i can't wear it

This is a feminine leaning citrusy powdery musk. I wish it was a little more citrusy or unisex. I can see how others may like this, women in particular. Not sure it’s for me but I’ll tuck it away and try again later
