#FierceAttar

In early 2015, my sis gifted me a 100 mL bottle of Fierce she bought me at an A&F store. Back then the formulation was still good and lasted a long time, as if it was an EDP. Took me almost a decade to run out of the bottle due to the juice being so potent. Two sprays was almost too much and lasted me all day AND night. After months upon months of thinking about getting a bottle of Fierce, I recently decided to instead get #Fierce and #FierceAttar out of curiosity, not expecting much. Well, to my surprise, #Fierce smells like Fierce from opening to drydown. Going from memory, I'm sure it's got differences if I compared them side to side, but from memory, this is Fierce through and through. It hits the same part of my brain. I would probably fail a blind test. What about #FierceAttar? Well, in the opening, it smelled nothing like Fierce. My heart sank from disappointment. However, after a few minutes, it turned into a more complex version of what I remember Fierce was. If Fierce was blurry, this is defined. That's how I can describe it. Honestly, it's better than my 2015 bottle of Fierce. I did not enjoy sniffing it up close. It bothered my nose. On the contrary, #FierceAttar is sniffable on my skin (hey, I also like to enjoy perfume like that) and my nose doesn't get overloaded. It's well-blended, but I can smell more stuff in it than on the original. It even has some sweetness to it, and the lemon is easily noticeable. This is such a good dupe, unless someone gifted me a proper bottle of Fierce, I wouldn't seek one myself anymore. It's one of those rare occasions where the dupe might miss a few insignificant nuances, but nails what makes the original desirable, plus introduces an improvement.

I have been trying out many Fierce flankers including the discontinued Fierce Intense and Montblanc Legend Intense, Percival, Platinum Egoiste, etc. This is by far the best, right up there with Fierce Intense only this is less aquatic more fir and citrus. An absolute banger with crazy performance. I actually received a vintage fierce today from eBay and either I got ripped off or it's totally lost its quality over the years. Honestly if you want something that smells like OG Fierce (which is a eau de cologne mind you) with really good performance then pick this up.

Since Fierce has been reformulated beyond recognizability, I decided to try this out. I bought a bottle, sprayed some on my wrists a few times to see what it smelled like and put the bottle away to mature. Six months later, it smells exactly like what it says it is, a deeper, stronger version of Fierce. It’s not something that I personally like, but I have received some compliments from women when wearing it. Warning, this is nuclear level strong! The first time I wore it outside the house I sprayed 4 times and 8 hours later I was still suffocating myself. Do not spray more than twice! Maybe even just two half sprays. It projects very widely too. Scent: 7 even though it’s not my taste, going by the feedback I’ve received it seems pleasing to others. Projection: 10, it’s noticeable from well over 7 feet away. Longevity: 10, this lasts 12+ hours. I wish I liked this scent profile because performance is insane.
