French Macaroons

this is abusively strong. great projection and sillage after about 1.5 years of maceration so take that into consideration. this is too feminine for me but WOWOWOW this smells amazing on my wife

While this is a lovely sweet cherry scent, the cherry is heavy and boozy, thick and cloying. It turns my stomach after smelling it for a while. Cherry scents seem to have that affect on me though, so I can understand others loving it.

I’m partial to my beast mode Dua’s & this popular lady who is spelled incorrectly isn’t all that beastly- she is beautiful though! When they are Dua Designer Line I’m not all that bothered since they are the very least expensive...she is not a DDL (for anyone who isn’t aware, nobody pays retail for Dua, there is always the opportunity to buy from 30-38% off most of the time- rn I think it’s 25% off but I’d wager by Friday it will be 30 or more, all DDL’s are $33 before any promo & somewhere usually around $22 after a promo has been used... I have quite a few DDL’s & some far outperform Dua’s that cost $60-$80 before promo many fall between $55-$65 before promo & $40 something after promo... usually the much more expensive Dua’s reflect on a micro scale the price of their inspiration (if it’s not a Dua Original) to some degree... my most expensive are my Roja dupes & seeing as how I love FRederic Maille’s ‘Portrait of a Lady’ I’m interested in Dua’s $100 dupe (34 mls, before promo) I do NOT like their Portrait of a Lady btw so I will have to sample their dupe of ‘The Night’)

It's me one year later doing a review again. Perfume has evolved from intimate to moderate. Definitely not strong, but it's fine. I'm actually liking the scent more now but please be aware that it definitely has a medicinal touch. I even asked around if people smelled that and they all said yes. HOWEVER, pair it with Bianco Latte, or buy the DUA hybrid with White Milk, omg, it's absolutely divine! They complement each other in the most beautiful way. It converts this nice but kind of boring medicinal perfume into something sweet, gorgeous, DIFFERENT! Please try it asap!

I think the reviewer below must have left a review after smelling a VERY fresh bottle because this is gorgeous. The best cherry gourmand on the market - the cherry is lighter, mixed with marzipan, cookies & milk. At first I thought it was too light and wondered what everyone was raving about. I put the bottle aside and forgot about it - now months later I am thoroughly obsessed with it and have bought a backup bottle and a French Macaroons hybrid (with A Gourmand Escape).

Cherry is the most prominent note imo, not what I was expecting. Some people said this smells like wrapped in vanilla by b&bw and they cannot be more wrong. They're like entirely different lol. Also this is very light imo. I could barely smell it even when putting my nose close to my skin. Smells good though, but the DUA reviews are so misleading

Out of TEN Dua's this is one of my favorites. The cherry and vanilla are mixed beautifully. A sugary, vanilla candy drydown with a tart cherry is what I get and love. Perfect to layer with. Will be buying a back up bottle. Longevity is 8-10 hours or more. She's perfect!

Not bad, projection is good. I do not get cherry off the bat, I actually get marizpan first ( I grew up with this as a child having a mother from Europe). Love it getting another bottle.

@Charmedbymeghan Never said it smelled bad haha. Btw I have had my bottle for 4 months now I believe, still super light with zero projection
