Gone Swimming with Beachvibes

Wanted to order Gone Swimming in Caribbean Waters but it was sold out so bought this one instead. I specifically wanted cologne that is closest to Gone Swimming by LV. I haven't smelled the LV yet. The opening on this one is great. It smells like Freshly cut orange however, not sweet. It is more like a musky-spicy orange smell. However, very realistic. I was hoping for more refined citrus-orange-sweet opening but that is missing here. It is a heavy and harsh citrus orange smell with aromatic notes, the ones you find in Jardin D Amalfi-Creed. Once it settles, about an hour later, you smell something musky-orange-vanilly smell like a cross between Invictus and Le Male by JPG. Although, not as sweet. Lasts for about 7-8 hours on skin and projects for first 2-3 hours loud. If sprayed on clothes, the smell stays for 2-3 days and you get a sniff every now and then. If this is what LV AS smells like, I'd pass. I know this is inspired by both Afternoon Swim and On the Beach by LV which turns out to be just average to me. If you love orange notes and don't care if it's clean/sweet smelling then sure go for it. It's more Summer, but you can also use it in spring and fall. Not buying again. Gone Swimming with #BeachVibes is the second Gone Swimming hybrid I have gotten from Dua. Second to Gone Swimming in Électrique which. It is the first Gone Swimming hybrid I got to hybrid with another Louis Vuitton fragrance dupe. That being #BeachVibes. This combines the notes of Afternoon Swim and On the Beach. Gone Swimming with #BeachVibes take that citric open of Gone Swimming and adds to it the beachyiness of #BeachVibes. Due to the mix of spices and sand, this smells like a fragrance I compared Gone Swimming in Électrique to, Guess Homme Seductive Blue. That said there is bit more to it due to the neroli and cypress. The citrus is mostly mandarin oranges and orange with the yuzu from #BecahVibes shining through. Performance is about 8 hours. I can see this being worn in spring and summer. Overall Gone Swimming with #BeachVibes is a low-key winner for Dua Fragrances.
