Harlem Vibes

Wow! This stuff is freakin' gorgous! My wife came out of the bedroom into the rest of the house after I sprayed it about 30 minutes prior, and the first thing she said was, "It smells wonderful in here!" And, yes, folks, it smelled wonderful in here! Compared to the stupidly discontinued, and every more ridiculously priced, Bond No. 9 New Haarlem OG, it's about 95% - 97% close, has longer staying power, and a much greater sillage and projection. It is almost, but not quite, beast-mode, so it would do well as a work scent, as long as you don't overspray. DUA knocked it out of the park with this one!

Got this as an alternative to Bond No 9 New Haarlem, which is one of my all time favorites. I have a back up bottle of New Haarlem, and another about 3/4 full. I was looking for something very similar with performance at least as good as the Bond (8 plus hours). I thought I'd try Harlem Vibes. It is very close, but on my skin it has a slightly fruity candy note. I like the note, so all is good in that department. The bottle is quite nice, and an excellent pressurized atomizer tops it off. I think this is a great fragrance for anyone who likes New Haarlem. Longevity is about 8 hours. I don't feel it is redundant to own both fragrances, as there is enough difference to keep them both in a collection. I am quite impressed with this first purchase from the brand, and will certainly be buying more.
