Jardin de Jasmin

I have been looking for a jasmine layering fragrance for years now, and this is it. Sambac Jasmine is a top note here, and it's quite indolic to start. I detect something in the top that is likely aldehydes that I believe are supposed to be the "dew drops" and "rain notes" accords. This I feel is the weakest part of the fragrance, although it's not bad. The base notes of vanilla, white musk, and sandalwood are fairly well-blended. I dislike too much white musk in the base, so I am glad that it is not overused here. What really impresses me is the tenacity of the Egyptian Jasmine Oil (Co2). It's a much cleaner jasmine than the Sambac, and it lasts and projects for a long time... longer than any natural jasmine I recall smelling in any fragrance. It's affordable, it smells good, and it lasts (which is extremely rare for jasmine). Able to compete as a standalone fragrance while also being simple enough to use as a layering tool. Strongly recommended.

This is a nice fresh jasmine fragrance! This is a beautiful fresh, green jasmine, I also get the Dew Drops note/rain, the white musk, and just a little of the damp leafs note, but jasmine is DEF the star of the show. I don't really get the vanilla or the earthy under tones, but I may just need to wear it a few more times. This fragrance is very versatile & can be worn in any season, even though I feel it would be better in spring, summer & fall. Its def a day time scent. Just a beautiful bright, fresh, dewy floral, simple and enjoyable. PS: All the notes are not posted correctly, so here are the correct notes: Egyptian Jasmine Oil (Co2), Sambac Jasmine, Madagascar Vanilla, Dew Drops Accord, Rain Note, White Musk, Damp Leaves, Earthy Undertones, and Sandalwood. I hope this notes list is updated b/c its bugs the heck out of me lol.

I thought this was going to be stronger on the Jasmine Sambac and unfortunately it’s not. It’s a very fresh, dewy and natural smelling Egyptian Jasmine fragrance so if that’s your favourite or most tolerated form of Jasmine this is for you. The vanilla only adds a to the natural sweetness of the Jasmines but it’s barely present here. I was really hoping for a more indolic quality to be present but this is missing the mark. I will say it does last very long and have powerful sillage.
