UPDATED BELOW: At the moment I don't like this. I've smelled the real deal and this isn't close. However, in my experience with the brand it's best to let them macerate and check again in a month or two. Holding out hope it improves like others from the brand I've tried. Will report back in a month or two. 1.12.24 UPDATE: 4.2.24 Smells 100x better now. Honestly need to resample the original but this smells really good now. Still need to test longevity. Smells expensive.

I love Royal Oud , its my favorite Creed, and i got this so I wouldn't have to spray my OG bottle so much lol. Unfortunately this smells almost nothing like Royal Oud to me. There is some sweetness in it and lacks the fresh opening. I can see somewhere how it is similar, but i was really hoping it would be closer. It does last a while and has that "cigarette-ish" dry down, but its just not close enough to get this in place of the OG. Just suck it up and buy the original if you love the scent.

Its pretty decent, lasts forever on clothes, just be careful cause its oily and thick. Not worth the $55---wait for a sale. I have had this for a few years, i just use to layer when I want some deep, sweet woods.

smells very similar to royal oud and is pretty strong and long lasting on clothing and skin, BUT the pepper note stays throughout the whole profile, def slightly less in dry down
