Leave It To Chance

An absolute beauty. It really does smell like Chance, it’s somewhere between the EDT and EDP with touch more woody notes to my nose. I’m on my second bottle. I will say, you need to let this sit and mature for months after purchase as they are made to order so that’s just how it goes. With my first bottle, I didn’t get a Chance resemblance on my first spray until maybe an hour into wearing it. I waited for it to mature for a month and I found it to be more like Chance than before, and kept wearing it. On my last couple of wearings (about 3 months of maceration), before finishing the first bottle, I noticed it smelled EVEN MORE if not 99% like Chance. So with this newer bottle I will let it sit for about 3 months and then come back to it. I think I might need to just keep buying bottles of this to have maturing in my closet on back up so I won’t have to be without the beautiful and uplifting aroma that is Chance. Gosh, DUA did an amazing job with this. One of my absolute favs and most worn scents. It’s part of me now. 🥀

This is really good. Very nostalgic. I remember liking Chance when it first came out, but life got busy and I never bought it or even revisited. The only reason I bought this is because I saw people mentioning it online and then Paul Reacts did a video about Chance. One of his friends I believe was wearing it and he had to know what she was wearing because she smelled so good. Anyways I was just gonna try and sample it, but when I saw a deal on Mecari, I snatched this up knowing this is more in my price range. I honestly couldn’t remember what Chance smelled like, but I’m pretty sure this is very similar. It smells so familiar and is very Y2K. I am positive that at sometime in my life someone I knew wore Chance. I mostly get citrus with patchouli and some vanilla, musk and rose. It’s classy, but cozy and fun at the same time. I am happy with my purchase.
