Marshmallow Dream

I was so scared to buy this one because of the bad reviews I've seen, but happy I bought it anyway. I don't get anything smokey or bad milk or milk socks on my skin. While the opening is a bit weird at times, it dries down to powdered sugar marshmallows and I. Am. Obsessed. If Angels bread is anything like this or better, I will buy that one in a heartbeat as well. 😍🙌

This is excellent!! It is a delightful, sweet vanilla that is not too lactonic. It is quite potent after sitting for a few months. This is one of my favorite vanilla's. It is more similar to What the Fluff than Delizia, but I consider those two sisters, so do with that what you will.

This smells exactly as described. I still find it odd that "marshmallow" is described as a unique note when it is basically just the smell of sugar/maltol plus vanilla, but I guess people associate that with marshmallows. There is a bit of smoke here, maybe in the vanilla, and that makes me think of toasting marshmallows over an open fire, which is nice. It doesn't smell intensely smoky, though, and you could just as easily make the case for it smelling like a fresh-from-the-oven Rice Crispies treat. Perhaps because of the lactonic notes (steamed milk, whipped cream), the marshmallow is melty and buttery, not dry-powdery. I like it on my skin, but I don't think I need a full bottle. I'm glad I was able to buy a decant, though.

Waited so long for this to be restocked only for it to smell like musty milk socks on my skin 😭

After almost a full year from my first review, I was able to smell this again from a friend who has had one for months now. It's exactly how I remember my bottle. Very basic vanilla, exactly like the one from Outremer, but with an added note of raw banana. It blows my mind how overrated this is

It is so badddddddd. Smells NOTHING like marshmallows. It smells more like Outremer Vanille with a mix of raw banana. Such a weird scent and not worth it at all. Not to mention it's super light

i'm mainly leaving this review as a placeholder while i let this sit for a while, because i reckon this is not supposed to smell like this. i just received mine today (05/12/2025) and i'm chucking it in my closet immediately. it smells like raw pillsbury biscuit dough with powdered sugar. i'm fine with smelling like baked goods, but not yeasty unbaked goods. i get nothing lactonic, creamy, or marshmallowy at all. it's also very light, which at this point i'm fine with because it's not pleasant. i'll smell it periodically and edit my review as time goes on if it improves. for now, straight to jail. **edit 09/12/25**: doing a 4 month update. the juice has gone from clear to straw yellow, but it still has that yeasty funky smell and is completely unwearable on its own. there is absolutely zero sweetness in this. if i layer this with something that is sweet, i can get the marshmallow. it smells like i got a batch where they forgot to add the sugar, if that makes sense. i picked up the heavenly loaf + marshmallow dream hybrid and that smells lovely, presumably because of the sweetness of heavenly loaf. i may try the 2.0 version because i have no self control and just want to see if they did it right this time. ***edit 06/30/26***: it's been over a year, and i can now officially determine that this one just sucks. any modicum of sweetness it had previously is gone, so it's basically just raw, cheap biscuit dough perfume. i also did get the 2.0 version because, again, no self control. while not nearly as yeasty, it smells like overripe bananas with a touch of the original DNA + powdered sugar. so envious of those that can enjoy these.

Sweet for sure, and yes, smells like a bag of marshmallows with a powdered sugar top. Rather nice but yes so sweet. Luckily no steamed milk apparent. I am getting a pleasant dry down of sugared vanilla that definitely reminds of marshmallows. Simple but really nice and certainly is as advertised.

So im dissapointed by this one its not even marshmallow, its not strong either its really faint. This brand has dissapointed me way too often lately, such a waste of my money. And yes my bottle has been macerating for more than a year so its definitely not a maceration issue.

Finally. A actual pure marashmallow scent that isn’t powdery or smells like a bonfire. This is pure fluffy marshmallowness. Such a “unique” sweet sweet gourmad scent
