Like every Dua I have ever bought I have to let it age a little bit. After letting it sit for about 6 months this is extremely popcorn forward. This is what I would call a pink fragrance with a little quirky personality. Extremely feminine, first date appropriate office appropriate very Glenda the Good fragrance.

Close but not on point. Miss Dior Cherie is well blended, this is good but was created to fill a void left by the original. All of the beloved elements are still there floral, gourmand, fruity but... I Miss Dior Cherie!

This is a dupe for the original Miss Dior Cherie. It is not my favorite dupe because the base notes are too strong. This is consistent with Dua's style, which focuses on performance at the cost of the composition. The patchouli is dark and overshadows the strawberry, cherry, and pineapple. It becomes a darker rose-patchouli take on Cherie. There is a hint of popcorn and caramel. It's also more dark than gourmand. It could work for night time or the colder months. I would layer this with some brighter citrus or red fruit notes to rebalance the perfume. I would say it is 85% accurate.

Whew. I was excited to get this. Received it today and ripped open my package and could not wait to spray it on my wrist once I did I was a bit shocked, thinking OK it will dry down and smell like everyone keeps talking about how misty or Cherie smells from 2005. Man it just kept getting worse and worse and stronger and stronger, I smell, no caramel no popcorn, no strawberry just some kind of an odd fruit, tons of rose and patchouly. I will not fall for that again when people talk about dupes, I need to smell it first lesson learned.

The opening and top notes are close. But the dry down misses the mark. I've had this for a few months now. If you want it to smell like the OG you'll need to layer it with a popcorn or gourmand perfume. I like to layer it with SDJ71 body mist. And it's as close as I can get. Try Montale Rose Elixir layered with SDJ 71 or something dense and sweet and it's close to Cherie as well.
