Musky Lotus 12

This is a really pretty almost pure musk for me. It’s not overly sweet like NR tend to be and doesn’t smell synthetic like white musk from the drug store. I’m not a fan of the typical “skin scents.” To me they tend to remind me of used clothes. This doesn’t do that! It’s just a beautiful musk. Perfect for layering or wearing on its own if you want to smell pretty and don’t want to make a huge statement. It did take a few days before I could really smell it, and it developed more over the first couple weeks after receiving. I was also able to smell the OG at ScentFest - I was inundated with smells at the time but all things considered I thought this was spot on (I had owned it awhile at the time). If you like musk in general I’d say it’s a safe blind purchase.

I’m about two hours into the dry down of this fragrance and I started getting a candied, Matcha, musk aroma. Then it clicked that this is reminding me of a watered down, “eau fraiche” version of Princess by Killian (which I think may actually exist— can’t confirm if they smell alike) I’m digging it!!

Smells like Clean Reserve Skin, and I am sooo disappointed. I literally hate CR Skin because it smells overwhelmingly like salty chocolate candy. This Kayali dupe does too.
