Not A Fresh Scent

I actually really like this. It's super long lasting. It's definitely an odd ball fragrance. It's a bit addictive even though it's not 100% my usual sort of scent. I gravitate towards spicy ambers generally. I do like some white florals. Anyway this doesn't smell like sweet tarts to me but it really reminds me of sweet tarts if that makes sense. I don't get cherry or raspberry but an overall sweet yet tart smell that dries down powdery. I agree that there's a Mossy green like element to it too. I love the opening and the dry down but there's something in the middle notes that I don't like but sort of also do like. It could be the iris. I sprayed it while I was wearing a sweater (not on the sweater) I can smell it weeks later. It's that long lasting. Definitely worth a try. It's definitely growing on me!

This is a fruity mossy perfume with a darkness to it. I'm not sure how "mossy notes" got left out of the note pyramid on here. It is 60% moss on drydown! It opens with biting pink pepper and shiny, hard orange-red cherries. The raspberry is sickeningly sweet and a little powdery. Thankfully, the raspberry only lasts a few minutes. I smell a lot of sour cherry. The sourness gets caught in my throat. As the perfume warms up to my skin, I get a one-dimensional jasmine. The jasmine adds a sense of cleanness to the composition. In the base, the white amber is scratchy and fuzzy. It is like an electric hum in the background, ever-present but hard to place. The mossy notes begin to surface only 15 minutes in. From here, the moss slowly gains dominance over the composition, creeping over the other notes. The moss is rich and dark green. The drydown is a linear moss with a hint of red fruit. Very, very strong. If you don't want others to smell you, stick to one spray. Did Dua succeed in creating a freshie that lacks aquatic or citric notes? Kind of. It's an oddball scent with an energetic opening thanks to sour fruits. I can't assign a season to it. There is a strange scratchiness to it, and it smells "synthetic." It is a challenging perfume.
