Oolong Tea

I really enjoy this fragrance. It lasts a long time on my skin, about 8 hours. What I love about it most is that it is very close to my beloved and discontinued Valentino Donna Rosa Verde! ( I keep asking DUA fragrance to make an inspiration of Rosa Verde, but I haven't seen it yet). This fragrance smells very citrusy, lightly sweet, with a floral note. I'm not getting specifically a tea sent, however, I do want to drink it! It really is a beautiful summer scent that is an enjoyable wear. I have never smelled the original. It's quite a steal if you buy it during one of their holiday sales or everything is 33% or 36% off!

I’ve not smelled the original but this definitely smells like a spa resort. Has that charming white tea smell that was really popular at one point in the mid 2000s after cucumber melon faded to the background, but is much sweeter and more complex. For a tea scent I don’t find this one to be unisex. I have a generic green tea scent, and a dupe of Tea At BG by Roja Parfums and both of them are drier and woodier and more gender neutral. This is a tea that someone dumped too much sugar in and the citruses seem to be candied and sparkling. Maybe the lid of the jar opened as you were pouring and you ended up with a sickly mound of sugar in your cup. Probably the fig note. Anyways, I like it but its teetering a fine line of sweetness for a freshie. Can potentially be cloying.

Smells like a fancy hotel lobby or a spa. While I do detect a tea note I would not say it smells like oolong tea, more like a green tea. I don’t think I would consider this a traditional perfume fragrance, more like a home fragrance. I also feel like it smells better at 2 feet away than up close. The scent might seem overpowering at first but it dries down really lovely.
