Pistachio Gelato

This is not what I thought it would be. I was told that this is what we wanted Kayali Yum Pistachio to be. That's not exactly true. I thought this would be sweeter. Its good just not AS good as I imagined. This is like a dry pistachio. This is like even you open a bag of pistachios and how it smells in the bottom. This is very nutty. It actually smells kinda like a less swettened Yara. Can you own both this and Kayali's YUM? Yes! Will it be redundant? No! Im happy to own it and look forward to trying orher things from the brand. I layered it with Cloud Intense and it went well. This also pairs well with Sol De Janeiro's Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62.

Wait till this sits for a year and a half ....omg good!

Very sweet and gourmand. I enjoy it for Eben wear in the cold weather. Almost has a buttery scent? Not a bad smell, just different!

Nutty, as advertised. Layered with Fine'ry Pistachio Please or a basic vanilla. I won't re-buy because I favor gourmands.

This is NOT SWEET!!!!!!! NOT AT ALL! If you like unsweetened pistachio scents that smell dry and dusty, like realistic pistachios, this scent is for you!!! This isn't a negative thing, it's just not my personal taste. This is a well-done fragrance, but I personally enjoy sweet gourmands, which this is NOT! I think the reviews of this saying it's sweet are maybe confusing this with a different pistachio scent from Dua. 🤔 I let my bottle sit and macerate for 9 months before I sold it and it never changed. I even thought I was losing my mind when people were saying it was sweet, so I bought another bottle and I let that one sit for 4 months and it never got sweeter... so in conclusion, this is not a sweet scent! I love fragrances by The Dua Brand, but just not this one since I prefer sweets! Lol I know many people who do love how realistic this is, so I hope this review helps the target audience for who should and shouldn't love this one!! 😅

Dry, sweet, fluffy and nutty like pistachio-scented whipped cream or syrup! But I didn't like the dry down of this, a strange dry & plasticky vanilla. It smells like it is an ingredient in Cheirosa 62 in a very diluted form. But imo the other notes in 62 come together and complement each other well. Passed this on once I got Pistachio Cream Delight which I think is much more well-rounded. It would be difficult to wear Pistachio Gelato by itself, feels like it wants to be layered. It layered well with Leche de Rose but was still missing a bright top note.

I was unsure of this one, until I got complimented saying that I smelled like Cold Stone Creamery 👀🤭

I love Pistache' body butter, Pistache' body spray, Girl if Now and Cheirosa 62. I thought based on the notes I'd love this. Sadly, I truly disliked this. I mean this actually makes me nauseous when I try to wear it. I know smell is subjective, but I get a sickeningly sweet vanilla, an overwhelming screechy musk, a weird fresh note like green tea, with a touch of pistachio. I don't get any nuttiness. Separately, I love all of those notes. I love vanilla perfumes and I like musk but something about this perfume made me sick. It's also unbearably strong. I don't think this is a safe blind buy even if you love Pistachio, Gourmands, and very sweet fragrances. This is not a perfume that's returnable. I was disappointed with the Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato and I liked this even less.

I just received this in the mail, and I've had a sorry-not-sorry experience with it so far! Like most other reviewers, I was hoping this would be a good dupe for Kayali's Yum Pistachio Gelato. So far, it's not. Not even close. Upon close sniff, it's like one reviewer described -- like you're smelling a bag of nuts. I'll get more specific, however, and describe it as a bag of walnuts of pecans. Those are two nuts that tend to have a sharp, almost stale smell, when you sniff the bag. They aren't buttery. They tend to smell sharp, bitter, and almost stale. I actually purchased Dua's creamy coconut, and there was NO cream -- just the smell of those nuts as mentioned above. And I'm selling them on Mercari because "creamy" is a gross misnomer. That's the same base that's in this fragrance. However. Something strange happened. After spraying it on, I left my bedroom for a few minutes and then came back and picked up a PEACH scent in the air. I stood there for a second trying to figure out -- what was suddenly smelling like peach??? I finally lifted my arm and smelled. It's this! Up close, I get more of the nutty/stale scent, but in the AIR, I'm getting peach! But what's so crazy is that I have actually been trying to find THIS kind of peach fragrance. I already own TF's peach fragrance, which is more like a fresh, spicy peach. What I want is actually an artificial Jolly Rancher kind of peach -- and I've been unable to find it. How STRANGE that I would find that scent accidentally in a PISTACHIO fragrance? Now, granted, this may change as it macerates. But if it doesn't, I'm SO not mad at it.

@Perfumeaddict84: for being such a hater of the DUA brand, you’ve certainly tested many of their offerings and don’t own any of them, I really trust your opinion LOL....

This is a beast ladies and gentlemen The creaminess of vanilla, balancing the dry nuttiness of the pistachios. Performance is 💯 Be careful not to overspray

Not a fan of this one...smells too musky to me.The only pistachio scent I love, was from Yves Rocher.
